The best Authentic Malaysian Restaraunt I have been to. I love their Laksa. The flavours and variety are always great, also the prices are decent and fair. Definitely recommend!

I really wanted to like this place. I started my exploration of this lovely little place with an order of nearly all of the chef's suggestions. First impression, the food tasted like takeaway food. Something that would normally be ok.. some of the best food comes from these places!.. The rendang was tasty but the meat quality was average. The prawns were tiny and tasteless paired with as many onions as you can fit in a container. The calamari was actually barely edible. The batter was still soft on the inside and was a bit sickening to eat, were the calamari still frozen when deep fried? The noodles were all cut up into little pieces, it definitely took stir fry to the next level.. Service was good and the staff are amazing here. Prices are ok, especially for the area but the food felt cheap and nothing stood out.

Extensive menu with some hit and miss. Good curry puffs and roti canai. Curry laksa was OK. However, we found the Fried Ho Fun with Beef to be burned and tasteless.

Real Malaysia Street food, excellent laksa, excellent stair fry noodles and rice. A real replacement of home kitchen. The laksa used mixed noodles (a real one!) and the soup was great! Full of flavour with taste of coconut. Chicken rice was great, chicken was good but cannot say it is great but at this price point, can’t really ask for more. Overall great food, highly recommended. And yes, they have deep fry ice cream. 😄

A quaint store conveniently located opposite Pennant Hills station. Food is good if you are having a Malaysian food craving. TIP: When ordering the wa tan hor, ask for the pickled chilli 🌶 . Our party enjoyed the rice in the Hainanese chicken rice.

Chicken laksa was nice but make sure you tell them not to put yellow noodle for gluten free. Normally other restaurants is just vermicelli. Unfortunately wat tan hor seafood wasn’t nice. It had not taste.

This is a no frills eatery. Nasi lemak was good and authentic. Serving size for the wat tan ho was a bit small. Would have preferred to pay more for a larger serving size

Chef Kwon is the chef in this eatery and from Kampar in Malaysia, the shop has been opened for 11 months and sells a mix of western Chinese (think Mongolian beef and Singapore noodle) and also traditional Malaysian Chinese food. You might think the menu is a little confused and I would agree with that. Always better to specialise just like in Singapore / Malaysia. The wa tan hor was good, caramelised hor fun was a little too caramelised (sauce was ok). Laksa was a little sweet (similar to another review) but I would not say it’s uneatable. Curry puff was ok. It was good to meet the chef/owner, service was friendly and helpful. always a PLUS to support a small business in this area.
