I have access to the library as I am currently a student, but had the worst experience there . Student are loud , when you wait them to leave another loud group will come and so on. No one there to keep the place in order . Unfortunately, ppl who want to concentrate are leaving after being disappointed. I spent more than 3 hours without accomplishing anything Also, one of the staff was SO LOUD when they are the one who should keep the place quiet 🀫 Please it’s not a coffee shop or shopping Center, if you want to disturb other ppl . Go chat outside

I used to come here regularly and the staff were always so welcoming. But on our most recent visits, my children were told they were too noisy after being present for less than 5 minutes. On another occasion another patron was giving death stares to my children simply for being present. I am trying to instil a love for reading and support their learning but no longer feel welcome and comfortable in this library. Perhaps some scheduled "quiet time" and "kids time" can be advertised to keep all parties happy? The library is a shared space and all should be made to feel welcome.

Library staff, have the courtesy and the guts to tell people keep the noise to a minimum and please talk elsewhere without having to hear your loud conversations, seriously. People come here to Read and Study in peace. To the reviewers who had a bad experience with the library, go up to the staff and tell them off about the issue.

Pros - Lots of seating and power outlets Cons - Its 10:30am on a Friday and there is a children's play group here singing twinkle twinkle little star. Not sure if i'm studying in the middle of a preschool or a library, so noisy and no sign they're going to stop any time soon.

Great place to do things such as research. There were children there who were loud and unruly. I expect that a library is a place were there is silence. The librarians need to control the children better.

First of all, I do have to admit that the study spaces are very cozy and adequate, however the amount of noise that people make here makes it awfully hard to study. The seating areas are not well clean and I personally would not recommend this to any student who needs to complete any work as you will constantly get distracted.

I HONESTLY CAN NOT BELIEVE that there is no free drinking water available at this place! I am a library lover and i decided to try this library today because it’s close to work. I have to confess that i am extremely disappointed to see that students and other visitors actually need to buy water from the vending machine because there is no water available for them. We come to OUR public libraries and expect that basic services should be available!! I can’t give you a better score Fairfield city.
