Maloney's... What to say? I've been going to Mahoney's since they were on George St and the (now not so) new location takes Mahoney's from a dingy basement bar with great pool tables and cheap drinks and turns it into an open, bright pub, still with great pool tables and cheap drinks. It's not the Maloney's we knew but it's still at heart the Maloney's we love.

Great venue to go for a meal and drinks after work. The food is really good, fairly priced and waiting times are very reasonable. Bar staff and management are really polite and professional and very helpful. Also, the venue offers a variety of beers on and of tap as well as Guinness on tap which is awesome. Also love the comfy leather high chairs absolutely fantastic, sit back chill and enjoy your beer.

Walked past so many times and always very busy: finally get to try today. The daily specials and chefs specials are definitely value for money. Quite spacious seating indoor. Quite family friendly actually. Happy to go back

We wanted to try Maloney's Hotel for ourselves as we had "googled" Irish Pubs in Sydney & it had a good rating of 4 stars . We were less than impressed . Our dinner was pretty ordinary for the price & the " house wines " that we asked for were VERY overpriced compared to other city venues . Also , for a IRISH PUB it lacked atmosphere , & the music playing , definitely was not Irish 👎👎

Good honest food at excellent prices. If you love great simple pub food then this is the place for you. My wife had the Beef and Guinness Pie which at $17 was fantastic value. I had a 350 gram T Bone Steak with Chips, Salad and Mushroom sauce and at $27 was also fabulous value . A great place to spend having lunch or dinner.

Food was so good we came 2 nights in a row. We were only a party of two, yet I noticed the party of 12 had their food all come out at the same time! Amazing! I've been to other cafes/restaurants and food was staggered just for three meals. Food was delicious 😋staff were friendly. Thankyou 😃

Good spot for a drink and snack. Good service, quick for food and drinks when it was reasonably busy. The food was alright, Market Fish (Barramundi) was great but the steaks weren’t. Also, the Reef and Beef was just a steak with a couple of prawns.

Great benue with cheap beers $10 a jug during week days and staffs were not the best but at least some were bit Friendly. Worst thing is the security guard ain't cool, he's very defensive and I understand he do his job but that ain't the way how you handle customers.

1 star because the people drinking at this pub usually loud blokes always cause trouble and act rudely to people passing by. Security here is lazy and can't even control the people sitting outside. I was walking passed outside minding my own business and some guy blurted something rude..he was clearly drunk. Security needs to do better at handling people in this stupid joint.

Great pub meal with good portions and fair price. Fast friendly service. Different drink deals, and specials on certain nights like Taco tuesdays. Kid friendly too.

Food was good. Using an Irish name on the pub to attract young impressionable Irishmen/woman into the establishment. No Irish apparel on the walls nor a Magners to be seen in the fridge. Scarred after such an experience, truly a stain on the worldwide Irish pub chain.

The atmosphere of this pub is not that good but the service is even worst. The Asian (I think Thai ) female bartender was unfriendly and a bit rude when taking the food and drink order. She made a lemon, lime and bitter with one different ingredient….. I did not want say nothing because she was already upset. Well for me was the first and last time.

Lots of room, plenty of seating. Dining room down a couple of steps. Order food with your drinks at the bar, food pickup is at the bistro counter, you get a buzzer for when your food is ready to be collected. 🍻 🍷 Food is good and fast. Toilets are down a flight of stairs. Looks like a regular hangout for all the local office workers for their after work drinks. Didn't try the Guinness in the plastic glass 🤔

Not the most impressive Guinness Pie I have had, more like stew in a pot with a puff pastry log on top. I was expecting mash potato, it was there but hidden under all the stew. Positives, meals were lowest priced we have had all week, fast service too.

Is a good place place to while in Sydney. Right in the center of Sydney. There's a place to eat and drink underneath. Note: if you buy take away meal. You will pay for the food and packaging differently. Better dine in .

We had dinner here for the $10 taco Tuesday, it’s good value for money and the tacos were pretty good. Staff seemed a little confused by the taco deal, at first we were told we got one taco for $10. We came back for the $16 steak and chips which was surprisingly good; the steak was cooked as requested and it was a decent piece of meat for the price. It was seasoned well and juicy, as well as being a good size.

While they didn't have a specific children's menu we found it a suitable family dining experience with three younger children with pizza and burger options satisfying our younger members of the family. Your regular pub classics you would expect were all on the menu. Very casual dining experience with all food ordered at the bar and collected yourself from the kitchen pass when notified with a beeper worked well. Food was of a good standard and steak was cooked perfectly to order.

Bit dark decor for my liking, felt bit closed in. Service bit on the slow side. Food was great and kitchen staff very friendly and smiley. Reasonably priced.

Clean pub which I found to regularly have clean seating available (in a relatively busy part of Sydney). Staff were friendly and attentive and the meals were excellent (well above average for pub meals). Recommend the rump (with a side of steamed veggies) and the reef & beef (these are not deep fried so another plus)

On the corner a busy Sydney intersection, this quaint Irish feel pub is where we had a dinner before heading to a show around the corner. The menu was not overly extensive and had the usual pub dining choices. In saying that the food was delicious and we were lucky enough to share a bottle of wine whilst seated in some very comfortable lounge chairs watching the city pass us by.

Cheap beer, good Latino music. It’s good to go dancing and drink with friends, specially on Friday.

Went for a drink Friday night. The dance floor was pumping with Latino beats. Thought I was in South America. The tap beer is a generic line up apart from Guinness and Kirin ichiban.

Stock standard Sydney Irish pub. Beer selection is a little lacking to my taste.. only pale ale on tap is James Boags and no xpa or ipa. Atmosphere is good though and staff friendly. Food your standard pub fare.

The food is nice and reasonable price for $10 Steak. The serving time is a bit slow, not really good for eating during office lunch break. The service is good.

The process at Maloney's were like a step back in time!! $16 for a Schnitzel & Chips with salad. Excellent value for money, and a relaxing atmosphere as well. Very nice place to visit.

Nice smoking area to chill have a beer and a cigarette. Whilst doing a bit of people watching. Pleasant friendly staff.
