A truly 5 star experience. The staff were so friendly and the hotel itself was perfect. The breakfast (opted for the buffet) was incredible and beyond the quality we could have expected. The view from the room (see pictures) was incredible and the room was… you get the picture. New favourite hotel in Australia, hands down.

Don't understand the rave reviews - this is a three to four star property at best. The staff are indeed professional - but they are being forced to manage a property that is *not* a five star hotel . The lobby is incredibly noisy and not a comfortable place to spend time in at all - the 'holding areas' , especially the third floor, are poorly maintained and there is zero service available while you're waiting for your room. The word I would use for this hotel is 'unwelcoming'. The furniture in the rooms is not five star. The rooms are weirdly shaped. The lobby is a disaster - I've stayed in airport hotels in third world countries with nicer and more welcoming lobbies. This lobby has the ambiance - and acoustic properties - of a cheap shopping mall. Why isn't this a one star review? The location is terrific and the staff do their best. But stars have to correlated to the price asked - and this hotel simply isn't worth the money.

The hotel staff were amazing from the valet, to floor staff to bar staff. The room was spotless, comfortable and luxurious. Amenities spot on expectations. Bar downstairs was a brilliant way to finish the night. Check out was simple and painless. Didn't go to the restaurant or Lounge 32 on this visit, but will do so when we stay there again. Definitely worth every dollar spent. The bed was perfect, felt like a cloud. Cant say enough about how much of a great night we had staying there.

Stayed over the weekend, it was a good experience, rooms are a little dated, but more than sufficient. For a Saturday night stay, it was decent value for money, especially if you book via Amex fine hotels and resorts, the extra perks really helps, with early check in, 4pm late checkout, free breakfast and $150 credit. Only negative was no toothbrush, had to call for toothbrush but no toothpaste, strange for a 5 star hotel. Would go back.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Four Seasons in Sydney and we both agree, this hotel is without a doubt our hotel of choice when staying in Sydney after the great experience we had. From the valet parking staff, through to the check in staff, housekeeping staff and club lounge staff, all provided 5 star service. We felt so welcomed and valued and the room was beautiful. We stayed in a premier full harbour room with club access and this will be the package we always choose for future stays. Beautiful views of the Opera house and harbour bridge, beautiful bright, spacious room with a beautiful large bathroom and comfy bed! The club lounge is a must to experience. The service, views, food and wine is exceptional. We went out for the evening and arrived back to find housekeeping had tidied our room and left slippers and a lovely note out for us along with a bucket of ice. We finished the evening off with some dessert from the room service menu and a pot of herbal tea. We cannot wait to return and experience the luxury that the Four Seasons offers. We used to be curious to try other accommodation in the area, however, after our experience, there is no question that Four Seasons is the way to go. Thank you to all staff for providing such a great experience.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in so far! The service and staff have been very kind and outgoing. They were able to hold our baggage before our room was available which was helpful as we toured the city early in the morning. The restaurant, Mode, is perfect for dinner! We have the deluxe suite which has the most spectacular view of the harbor to watch the sunrise and sunset. The rooms are very clean and well kept by room service throughout the day. It is perfectly located for shopping, dinning, and leisurely enjoying the center of the city.

Love this hotel! It is in a great location, the service is fabulous, and the rooms well-appointed. We had the breakfast, and it is marvelous!! I recommend their bar GRAIN. Great and original cocktails!! It is within walking distance of all the harbor sights! I give this hotel my strongest recommendation!!

A true 5 stars from beginning to end. Right when we arrived, the valet was quick to greet us and take our luggage. Check in was smooth and they emailed us prior to ask what time our flight landed, to ensure we had everything we needed. We requested to adapters and a kettle, and it was ready for us in the room. When we needed something, it was quickly delivered within minutes. Items in our room like coffee pods were refilled daily. I used the gym each day and it was nice they had bottled water, wipes, apples and cold towels there. I particularly enjoyed the steam room and sauna and used it daily. I only used the Jacuzzi and pool once, as there was a family with children there. Amazing location, waterfront and view of the Opera House, a block from Circular Quay station, walking distance to shopping. This hotel is conveniently located and bonus - sits on a quiet block so a restful night of sleep is guaranteed. Will definitely stay here again. Meets my expectations of the Four Seasons.

This review covers two different stays in June. Upon arrival on June 4, my reservation could not be found. I made it through AMEX travel. There was along delay at check in and my original reservation was never found. I was however booked into the same room class as my prepaid reservation. I was given a coffee/pastry while I waited for my room to be sorted. I was later sent a bottle of wine. I’m not sure if the wine was due to the check in issue or not. The views from the room facing the harbour were fantastic especially since Vivid Sydney was happening. The room was very clean, with super comfy beds and top notch with evening turn down service. Daily breakfast at Mode was superb. Also during my second stay I ordered room service which I found to be excellent. When I checked in again in late June I had a city view room. I was surprised that I was not welcomed back as a return guest. If given the choice I would pay a bit more for the harbour view. The location is fantastic and most places are within a nice to medium walk. I certainly would consider staying at this property again.

Wonderful hotel. Best service I have ever had in a hotel, with extremely helpful, polite and friendly staff. Rooms are well furnished, comfortable and clean. iPad in the room gives the ability to book room cleaning, turn down, room service and more, which is a nice touch. Gym was well equipped. Location is perfect with close proximity to restaurants, transport and shops Great view from their full and partial harbour rooms. Overall a fantastic experience.

Staying at the Four Seasons in Sydney has been an absolute joy. The staff go out of their way to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Our room has an amazing view of the harbor. The bed, linens, and feather pillows ensure a great night's rest. The only minor mention is, there's no dresser drawers to stow your clothes. So we just stacked them in the closet. The in room coffee is amazing with a well stocked mini bar and refreshments in the fridge. We didn't get to eat at Grains, but we did enjoy the complimentary breakfast each morning. The elevators need some service as they kept displaying the wrong floor number when you were on the correct floor. Five stars from me and a definite enjoyable experience are guaranteed.

It's an amazinggg property in close proximity to opera house. From the front desk to each and every staff member is well trained, professional and prompt. Miss Sukanya, the front end manager went extra mile to provide me with a beautiful prayer mat, got all unnecessary things removed to create easy, arranged non allergen towels and their amenities are class apart. I came for a day, but I keep on extending as I am getting a way better experience than expected. They also complimentary upgrade you without even asking for it ;) Rooms are newly furbished and fresh with generous supplies of endless amenities. 10/10 !!!

GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE! Four Seasons Hotel Sydney is the worst! DON'T stay here. My partner and I organised a stay here for 6 nights with our two small dogs as it promotes being pet friendly. We confirmed with them twice in writing that the two dogs were welcome in our one hotel room with no additional cost, two months prior to our stay and 1 week prior to our stay. The hotel said they were happy to have them at no additional cost, toilet trained, full vaccinated, under the weight limit. Then, 2 days before our stay the hotel emailed us and said we would need an additional room for $4,000 if we wanted to have our two dogs stay at the hotel. We had to cancel our trip two days beforehand. Poor customer service, rude and unethical. They change prices and confirmation on you last minute even when they have confirmed your stay multiple times with all of the details. Be careful and avoid at all costs if you want to enjoy a trip away!!! Very unreliable, go anywhere but here.

I can’t speak highly enough of this hotel. Everyone I encountered on the staff was super friendly and genuinely interested in making sure you had the best experience. The rooms were clean, quiet and high tech. I considered both the mini bar and restaurant to be very affordable by 5* standards. Easily the best 5* hotel I have stayed at in my travels, solely due to the staff there.

My stay at this hotel was nothing short of fantastic. While there are some signs of age, they only add to the overall charm of the place. The attention to cleanliness and maintenance is impressive — it felt like stepping into a well-preserved time capsule. The staff were not only extremely helpful but also genuinely warm and accommodating. And let's talk about the view! Waking up to the Sydney Opera House outside my window was a breathtaking experience.

5/5 🌟Absolutely loved the Hotel and also their hospitality 🙌🏻 We booked the partial harbour view and absolutely loved the super spacious room and views on both the sides. The team members for valet parking, reception, room service, security guys (met one at 1:30am😅 to get in) were super friendly. The room had massive bathroom and king bed and everything was world class and worth every penny👌🏼

The rooms are great, up to date and very nice. The service was great with everybody being proactive. The location is great across the street from Circular Quay where you can catch any boat , the train and the george street tram. You can access the building from the front to the first floor of from the rear to the third floor.

  • 4/5 N J. 5 months ago on Google
I liked the hotel - the room was nice, service was polite, food was good, gym was well equipped, location was very close to the circular quay train. The only downside was the service was slow. For example when the hair dryer in my room inexplicably didn’t work, I had to ask 3x for them to send up a new one (after explaining upfront that I was in a hurry to catch a flight). At breakfast, they never brought me the tea that I ordered, and the server who had initially taken my order looked perplexed when i inquired about it. I’m sure they are busy, but cmon, this is a Four Seasons! I expect a bit more.

I attended a conference meeting. It had all the ambience and style to match the hotel’s reputation. I didn’t stay because I live locally. If you’re intending to visit it’s the perfect location for the ferries, old Sydney town. There’s a light rail tram you can catch to the heart of Sydney. It’s worth investigating. As a tourist I’m confident you’ll be happy.

Definitely a 5 star stay - the staff were amazing and beyond accommodating! We stayed for our sons 2nd birthday and they went above and beyond to make him feel special. Our room was so spacious and clean, everything in there was pure luxury. Thank you for making our overnight trip unforgettable for our little man’s birthday :)

We LOVE staying at the Four Seasons Sydney. The location and views are breathtaking but most importantly the service is second-to-none. The rooms are welcoming (oh that bed is heavenly!) and the room service menu is delicious. In addition, all staff members want to help - they are proactive, friendly and prompt to action all requests. Highly recommended!

The hotel, though displaying occasional signs of age, is charming, impeccably clean, and well-maintained. Our room on the second-to-last floor offered a breathtaking views of the bridge and opera. I'm rating it with four stars due to potential street noise as the windows don't seem to effectively isolate the sound.

My family and I had a lovely weekend here and our Harbour rooms had a gorgeous view of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge . However what made the weekend special was the attentive and friendly service in Lounge 32. We had delicious canapés and evening drinks and a relaxing breakfast at our leisure the next day. The Lounge Manager Arielle Wilson and her lovely team worked tirelessly to make all guests feel welcome and special.. I cannot speak highly enough of the them. Good service is everything… I will definitely come back again on this package !

I stayed here for my 30th Birthday and the team went above and beyond to ensure I received the best care during my stay! Upon arrival I was greeted with friendly staff who all wished me a happy birthday & when I entered the room it had been decorated beautifully and I was even gifted a bottle of lovely red wine as a birthday gift. This made my day and the whole experience at this hotel was phenomenal. I can’t wait to come back and I would like to thank everyone who contributed to ensuring I had a great stay. You are wonderful and your efforts and much appreciated!

The views of the harbour are unbeatable. Great sunrise spot. The staff are all exceptional and go above and beyond. 6 big fluffy pillows on bed, and very fast working A/C. Only down side would be the pool on floor three, no view and doesn’t look great. But everything else flawless, a true four season experience!

The room and reception service were all perfect. I have been to many 5-star hotels, but Four Seasons had the best service among them. Next time, I would like to visit for a longer period of time and try out more services.

From arrival to departure, the service offered from all the staff was exceptional, warm and inviting. The room was clean and well provided for. The turn down service was not expected but was greatly appreciated. Having chosen the breakfast option was an terrific outlay of food and so yummy as well. It was great to see how well the team worked together when an incident occurred and it ddin't matter which area they were from. This showed great leadership and comradery of all staff. The only negative part of our experience was the use of our debit visa card where an extra $250 was taken as a holding deposit but wasn't explained or informing us in any of the paperwork received from the 4 Seasons Hotel prior. Not everyone is in a financial position to have this money withheld from them. As quick as it is taken, the balance should be returned in just the same amount of time too. Travelling back to our home destination with limited money was not what we expected.

You may read some reviews that this is an older hotel. And it is. However, don’t let that fool you. This property and its service are both consistent with the Four Seasons promise to deliver. I would agree that the hotel overall may benefit from full scale renovation and reinvestment with its prominent location, but the rooms are luxurious and comfortable. Definitely stay here for a higher end and convenient stay in Sydney CBD right on the harbour. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

I had a king room with views out to Sydney Harbour, which was spectacular. Very friendly staff at the reception desk. I did not like the bathroom set up. I prefer a designated shower instead this was a wet room. The other thing I didn't like was having to pay $60 for a buffet breakfast.. Other than that it's a beautiful Hotel, with all the extras you would expect in the rooms. Dressing gowns ,slippers mini bar, free bottles of water. Great location, easy walk to train station, light rail,Opera House and the Rocks.

Excellent, exceptional, the best hotel experience we’ve had in a long time. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They are always smiling and they all seem to be so genuine. The hotel is amazing, clean and smells amazing. The rooms are a nice size and the beds are so comfortable. The details are so thoughtful. I asked for ice one night and each day they turned down the beds, they brought a bucket of ice. Slippers are placed next to the bed for us. They even have convert plugs. The pool area is clean and perfect size and the gym is well equipped.

Amazing hotel! Book the room with full harbor view. Room service was excellent and always made sure everything was in perfect condition. The location of this hotel has everything close to you and public transportation is a few minutes away. First Four Seasons stay and will not be my last.

My wife and I recently celebrated her 30th birthday with a stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, and it was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, the exceptional service made us feel like royalty. Upon check-in, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade from a partial view to a full view of Darling Harbour and the Opera House. The view was absolutely breathtaking, and it set the perfect tone for our special celebration. The room was elegantly appointed and impeccably clean, making our stay all the more enjoyable. We decided to kick off our evening with a visit to the hotel's bar, and we were not disappointed. The ambiance was cozy and sophisticated, and the drinks were expertly crafted. It was an excellent way to start the evening and set the mood for the birthday celebration. The only minor downside during our stay was the breakfast buffet. While it offered a decent selection, we had high expectations for the coffee. Unfortunately, the coffee didn't meet those expectations. However, this was a minor hiccup in an otherwise fantastic experience. One other slight inconvenience was the absence of a dental kit in our room. We had to request it by calling the front desk. It would have been more convenient if it were readily available in the room, but the prompt response from the hotel staff made up for it. In summary, our stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney was extraordinary. The room upgrade, the mesmerizing view, and the bar experience were exceptional highlights. The minor issues with breakfast coffee and the missing dental kit were overshadowed by the overall excellence of the service and the wonderful memories we created during this special occasion. We would gladly return for another visit and highly recommend the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney for those seeking a luxurious and unforgettable experience.

Great customer service, very beautiful room with city views. Because the COVID19, we didn't use the hotel facilities. The only thing is the bed is a little bit soft to me. Otherwise, we have a great experience.

Treated ourselves to a harbour view room for our anniversary - it was STUNNING Beautiful room with the softest pillows and comfy bed. But I spent so much time on the window seat looking at the view 😍 In house dining was great, staff super helpful. The small issue I had they fixed quickly and were very apologetic.

Stayed for one night in December for our baby moon. Special treatment started the moment we arrived when the valet noticed my very pregnant belly and quickly offered us in house parking despite previously telling us it was full! Then we were upgraded to the Presidential Suite, which is about 30% bigger than our home / apartment. Food and other amenities - like ice and a turn down service - can be ordered via the iPad in the room. As we had the "romance" packages, instead of champagne, they gave us 0% alcohol rosé, so I could celebrate with my husband. All the staff were so friendly and thoughtful. Would definitely stay again.

Reservations and other team members don't understand English well. Friendly but four seasons team at this location has lost its efficiency to be attentative and ability to understand English speaking people. Get the old four seasons standard back.

We stayed here for our 8th wedding anniversary. I cannot speak more highly of the whole experience. The staff went above and beyond. They put us in a room that was high up enough so that we had a great view of the harbour. They also left a little gift in our room. The bed was so comfy and the sheets were luscious. The room was spacious and the addition of the coffee machine was a nice touch. The buffet breakfast was good. Had a variety of hot and cold foods. The wait staff were very attentive. And late checkout at 12pm was a bonus. They really thought about everything and I couldn’t fault anything! We will be coming back again.

Perfect customer service exists and I found it at the Four Seasons Hotel. With exceptional quality of service, I had the utmost experience. Service is provided via a touch screen pad from which you order just about anything to your room. The bars and restaurants have great staff with phenomenal drinks and food. There is a bar at the pool; and water and towels are provided in the gym. It was a wonderful stay.

Very nice hotel, first time staying and was my first night after getting married. We got a room upgrade and were made to feel very welcome. The pool was nice and heated with spa. Very easy from the ferry or train.

I stayed here for 10 days and loved it. The pictures is the view from the room. The room was very small but still comfortable and loved the housekeeping service that comes twice a day to make sure the room is always clean and tidy. You also. Get free water cartons which were greatly appreciated. The let down last was the spa which was constantly fully booked and hard to reach - and the pool which is by a road with a lot of traffic. Overall though I would recommend this hotel!

We dud not stay there but went there for our Christmas lunch for our family. They served a buffet and it is quite extensive. Needed more vegetarian options and salad varieties were limited. The ham Turkey were excellent and the array of seafood was outstanding. We had a drinks package it was reasonable. Unfortunately the waiter was extremely busy with the lager parties on the lager tables and we were a little overlooked. I'm not say the waiter was ignoring us personally, but the staffing was a little overstretched. The dessert table was enormous and the variety was outstanding. All in all this lunch was amazing and we all enjoyed dinning there very much.

We stayed 5 nights early December 2022. What a fantastic hotel!!! We booked a Sydney harbor/Opera view on a high floor (24th for us, see attached photos). What a delight to wake up to that view and go to sleep with it at night! Room was spacious and quiet. It was also great to see the big decorated Christmas tree in the lobby every day. Hotel staff really pampered us, even checking in the evening to see if we needed anything or if we wanted turn-down service. Hotel was in the Rocks area, which has many many restaurants. We ate at a different place everyday for breakfast and dinner and were always satisfied. We also had the breakfast buffet at the hotel one morning and it was great, lots of variety Hotel staff were very helpful and kind. The hotel was also close to the train station, with easy access from and to the international airport (5 min easy walk to station, about 15 min train ride, much faster than taxi and very reasonable, you can easily pay by tapping on and off at the turn stiles). Hotel is also easy walking distance to the botanical gardens, must do stop! You could easily spend a day there, it is so big. I highly recommend staying at the Four Seasons Sydney. It was our first stay at a Four Seasons and was definitely a stay to remember!

Superior customer service from the staff at Four Seasons! Room service was impeccable - we requested our room to be cleaned while we were out for the day and we basically came back to a brand new room. The food is great also when you've got a spectacular view of Sydney Harbour. Thanks to the staff at Four Seasons!

We had a very nice comfortable room overlooking Circular Quay and Sydney Opera House. Kudos to Housekeeping who were very attentive to keeping our room clean and tidy not too mention the top ups of water - BIG THANK YOU! Despite previous comments about the gym, I thought the gym was decked out with sufficient equipment and clean as! The staff during breakfast were always talkative, polite and with some, we shared a few laughs. Location is the Best! Circular Quay. trains and trams is just right there! Totally recommend this Four Seasons and for sure, we will be back!

Thank you Four Seasons Sydney for a fantastic birthday weekend. Our room was very clean and it had all the essentials that we needed. The view from our room was breathtaking, a view of the Harbour and the Opera House. Wow. The location was so convenient too. Buffet breakfast was delicious and had a very relaxing atmosphere. A big thank you to Siva for his service at breakfast time, it was exceptional. Thank you for making a special birthday drink for me at breakfast . His kindness and professionalism is to be praised. A big congratulations to Siva also for his 32 years of service with the hotel. Amazing.

I booked the Deluxe Full Harbour Room for 1 night. Service was amazing and the view was spectacular. So glad I came here to celebrate my husband’s birthday as they have an option to include a cake which made it that extra special. The bed was so comfortable and the room is modern. We ordered room service via a tablet which just makes everything easier.

Wow! What a hotel! We stayed at the Four Seasons hotel on our wedding night and we could not have asked for a more romantic place to stay. The customer service from all staff was simply exceptional and the process was smooth. We had booked the romance package and everything was set up quite nicely in the room. The food was simply divine. The views were breathtaking and certainly worth the price you pay. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would certainly recommend them to anyone.

Everything was excellent from the minute the wonderful Nassar (head concierge I think) greeted us on the driveway. We had just had a very stressful day and he made us feel relaxed and welcomed. He looked after us like we were superstars! The room was lovely and spacious with great natural light. The bed was super comfy and the room quiet. All the staff were friendly and professional. We absolutely loved our 3-day stay and wish it had been longer.

This luxury hotel on the rocks in Sydney is a must go to place for your stay. The service was amazing, firstly starting with arriving to the room with a bottle of champagne and a card congratulating us on our graduation and birthday. The room got serviced 2 times a day, with a lady knocking each night to top up our water and ice. The food was impeccable, unlimited food choices and cuisines and pastries. The friendliness of the staff at all times no matter what the request or question was the real stand out point, extremely professional in every way possible.

Concierge staff (led by Josh) were most helpful and knowledgeable, with lots of great suggestions. Harbour view room was worth the price! Location was perfect. Breakfasts were busy, which caused short waits for coffee, but a huge selection of very tasty food & beverages.

It’s been a long time since I had a hotel as comfortable and accommodating as the Four Seasons Sydney. The staff were absolutely fantastic, ensuring our every need was met. Nightly turn down service was a lovely touch, and the room service dining was simply delicious!! I can’t recommend this hotel enough - if we ever return to Sydney, we would be foolish to stay elsewhere.

The hotel staff were amazing from the valet to the floor staff to the bar staff. The room was immaculate, comfortable and luxurious. The amenities meet expectations. The bar downstairs was a brilliant way to end the night. The output was spectacular. I did go to the restaurant in Lounge 32 on this visit, but would do so again when we stay there again. Definitely worth every dollar spent. The bed was perfect, it felt like a cloud. I can't say enough about what a great night we had there.
