Best restaurant for South Indian dishes. Worth a try of Biryani. Tried Tandoori Soya today and it was the best I ever had here. Egg65 Biryani was so tasty. Crispy Baby corn was bad seemed like it was not fresh. You should not let your standards drop.

A very cosy and warm atmosphere, it was worth the wait. Chicken 65 biryani is drool worthy..extremely juicy and delicious. We loved it so much, that we had to pack the family pack to be taken for our kids who were home. Very prompt service, when the order is taken digitally. The facilities are well maintained. The staff is very friendly and there is good rapport between them all, it does make a difference when you know you are served by happy staff. Thanks team for a beautiful experience.

It is famous for its variety of dosa. There are many varieties that you don't find in other restaurants. It's mostly crowded and will have to wait for minimum 15 mins during the weekends. The staffs kept asking every few minutes to see if we are ok with the dish and if are fine with everything else. Hospitality was good. Food was good.

Loved the food! A big selection of dishes to choose from and all delicious. I would say the indo Chinese noodles wasn't the nicest but everything else such as the tandoori chicken, dosa, chicken biriyani that was packed with meat etc was delicious. Naan was pillow soft and so good with the goat rogan josh. The service was absolutely wonderful, we were served by Janani who was very attentive and kind to us.

Good decent. Taste good. However, the waitress tried to decisive me into giving a good rating. She said that if I give a good rating I would get a discount, however when I went to pay the bill, the counter lady said no discount. So beware! Dosa Hut’s ratings maybe artificially inflated.

Popular restaurant in the area with a bit of wait on weekends. Had a nice meal with recommendations from our server, all were delicious choices. Beware if you're not good with spicy food like I am and should always ask. We ordered the chicken briyani and was quite spicy but still very delicious. The restaurant is quite spacious and clean when we visited. Service was quick and friendly. Would not hesitate visiting again next time I'm in the area.

One of the best Indian Restaurants in Harris Park. Great menu … Variety of food. Chicken 65 Biryani is one of the best food that I liked. Dosa are crispier and not soggy. It is located on the side of the road. The street is very commercial so parking is not easy but there are parking lots around. They are open till late which is good. Lots of seating available inside but they tend to get packed on weekends and waiting can be as long as 40 minutes at times. The service was quick, and the staff were attentive. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity of food served. Overall, I highly recommend Dosa Hut to anyone who loves South Indian cuisine and is looking for a great dining experience.

We had a great meal here yesterday. Best Massalla Dosa (we went for the 70mm - large) and Dahi Puri I've had. The curries were good too. Four of us fed for $110 which feels reasonable. Would recommend!

Food was amazing! First time trying Indian food and not a big spicy fan, but loved the chicken texture and the rice!! Honestly felt like having a home cooked meal. Service was great.. we were given a seat straight away and service was quick.

Try Indian food for the first time and subvert stereotypes. The spice is a bit stronger, but I like it the way I like it. I will try it again. The dining room is clean and tidy. Very friendly and staff-Samriti who recommend dishes to me.

First of all, love the ambience and we love our food too. The menu is very comprehensive. However, we have done the research on Google Reviews before coming here so we already know what to order. We ended up having: * 70 mm Masala Dosa * 70 mm Chef's Special Both Dosas were superb, we love the fillings and the crepe, and also the 3 "sauces" that came with the dosa. The crepes were very crispy and the fillings had just the perfect level of seasoning., All the sauces are yummy too. All in all, we enjoyed eating our dosa, two thumbs up for that. Many reviews said the RAVA dosa was good (which was on the paper menu). However we could not locate the RAVA Dosa in the QR code menu, so we asked the waitress, only to be told "It was not available, that's why it's not there (meaning in the QR code menu)". The tone of her voice made us feel stupid asking for something so obvious. To us, the service is lacking especially when it was so hyped up by other reviews (that the customer services were superb), thus we arrived with a higher expectation. Thus, a word of advice, if you can't find the dish in the QR menu, it's not there and please don't bother the waitress. What's lacking in the services is really made up by the quality of the food though, thus we still enjoyed our experience and will still recommend it to people who want to try their Dosa (you won't be disappointed).

Located on Wigram street Harris Park. Walking distance of about 5-7 minutes from Harris Park station. The restaurant serves Indian cuisines specialized in South Indian and North Indian delicacies. Nice ambience in the restaurant with friendly staff. Choose from starters to main course and finally dessert. Food quality and quantity both were good. We had mughlai chicken curry, garlic naan and hariyali chicken for lunch. Prices are above average but worth the quality that was offered. Takeaway option available.

I first came here 3 years ago, then finally managed to bring my family this week. Quality was awesome both times. I must say the chicken tikka masala was amazing, totally different from what I'd tried 30 years ago when I first came to Sydney, heavenly! Of course, the masala dosa is great too!! Check in service was smooth and very professional, and Anu looked after us very well with our order as our daughter has nut allergies. Definitely looking forward to our next visit!! AND, afterwards, for the full Indian experience, go down the road to the guru corner store for yummy jalebi (you'll see the queue) and amazing masala tea

If you enjoy Indian food, there is nothing wrong with this place! It was our first visit and we came to Harris Park especially for our Indian "hit". We love spicy goat so we tried the Crispy Goat. It's a dry dish of delicious goat pieces and a fresh salad. We also had Chicken 65 upon reviews recommendation. There was a LOT of delectable, juicy, flavoursome chicken pieces in a yummy sauce. This dish is a little hot but that did not deter us from enjoying the flavours. The plain biryani is so delicately spiced. We also ordered the sambar. This was a surprise! I thought we were getting sambal, but we ended up with a yummy lentil stew. Well come back again to try the dosa.

Great Indian food. The samosa was great. It was crispy and the potato filling was tasty. The onions and the dip accompanied the samosa well. The masala dosa was crispy and paired well with the dip The tandoori dish wasn’t the best. I’m not sure what the meat was but the taste and texture was just ok. The biryani rice was fragrant and the chicken was very tender. The butter chicken and the plain naan were great. The mango lassi was sweet and refreshing. Overall, a good place to visit.

Awesome South Indian cuisine, we had dosa, naan, goat briyani, chicken tandoori, channa masala, bindi masala - all really tasty and full of flavour that we absolutely loved. Customer service was also prompt and attentive. Thanks to Simran for checking in on us!

We visited here first time for lunch on this Father's day. We were told a wait time of 20 minutes, but we were seated in 10 minutes. The order was through QR code from the Table. The environment was good, the service was quick, a.d the staff was friendly. We found this place very nice not only for South Indian Food, but also for North Indian dishes. We ordered Dosas including Chefs best Vegetarian dosa, Paneer vegetable, Bhindi vegetable and Naans. Everything were very tasty, authentic Indian taste. The price was reasonable, 5 percent discount for cash payment. The parking may be difficult on the street, but we found it on a nearby street. I highly recommend this place.

Buzz, spacious, alive Vibe feeling restaurant. Service good and efficient. Ordered dosa- it's good because warm and crisp but a bit salty. Butter chicken - flavoursome, chicken fillets tender, sauce creamy and tangy sweet. Mango lassie - yummy but not too sweet. Recommend.

First time here - the menu was a little overwhelming as there were no images but Kajal was great and gave us recommendations about what to get. We got the Puri, Chicken 65 Biryani, Masala Dosa, butter chicken and naan. They were all really good 😊

Staff was very friendly! I ordered TA as I thought it was too hot to eat outside - we needed a table outside since we had our dog with us. The food was almost ready and I changed my mind, we got a table outside and staff was super easy on us. Butter chicken and biryani was flavourful and fresh, we really enjoyed it!

This place is one where you would have a wonderful experience in Indian cuisine. It's clear that this business focuses on service. Spice intensity can be adjusted and if you like fire in your mouth, that's possible. A tip when ordering with the app is that you can adjust the dish by adding notes to the order.

Food was excellent, flavours were very vibrant and aromatic. In my opinion the food was very authentic and great value considering the portions. Most importantly Anu was very lovely and provided excellent customer service. She deserves a promotion.

One of the best places to eat in Harris Park, hands down! If you want one of the best dosas you'll have outside of India, this should be your first choice. Our server Khushi was so friendly and helpful, she's amazing, we'll definitely be back! Thanks guys ❤️

The food is good. The staff is attentive and polite. Food served was tasty but the portion sizes are ok for the price they charge. They have long queues and even longer wait times. We were a party of four but still had to wait around an hour before we were let inside. Although they allowed many other couples/groups of two before us who actually came later. They should improve their seat management. Not sure if I will go there just because of the wait times.

Great place to try a variety of Indian cuisines. We recently visited this restaurant and were happy with the dishes we tried. Speed and service is great. Dishes are tasty (must try indian chinese). Paneer 65 could have been done better as it was spicy (my spice levels are pretty high) and tasted like achari Paneer (another dish - pickled cottage cheese) than the chilly babycorn we ordered. All in all great place for family get together. Strongly recommend..

Janani was an awesome host, she helped us to order as we were not familiar with the authentic Indian cuisine. The foods were amazing!!! Every dish was soooo good, the best was briyarni, so satisfied with our lunch😇😊😊 Thank you Dosa Hut

Its a good restaurant, you can taste all south Indian dishes. And also yiu can use dine and discover voucher here and i observed that since they are more rush in recent days they are compromising the taste.. The crispy lamb was so dry and hard to eat. Szechwan chicken was ok to eat

  • 4/5 dipti h. 2 years ago on Google
Food was good and fresh. Quantity was generous as well.Staff was friendly and service was fast. I was just wondering why noone checked the vaccination details at the entry. Not sure if it is needed as per law but the management should really work on the well being of the staff as well as patrons.

I wasn't happy with the food we got that day but I am glad that the management took effort to sort this out and refunded the amount paid for. Next time, I visit dosa hut, I will surely let them know of the previous experience and looking forward to try something new next time. My review before: the worst ever Paneer dosa I had. It was burnt and tasted too bad. If you look at the coconut chutney which doesn't look good to the eyes. The money we would always regret that spent on this.

My favourite Indian eatery in Sydney. The menu is super extensive. The butter chicken is the best! Service is excellent. You can't book so be prepared to wait if your arrive after 6 pm. The whole family loved it. And the dosas are a must

We went there last Wednesday.Restaurant was fully packed as Diwali was next day.we had to wait for our food which is expected in busy time. But the way Shop owner came to our table & apologies for delay & explaining everything that is really appreciable.Even staffs are also very good with nice manner.I would say credit goes to owner that’s why staff are also very good.Though we live really far but just because of their service we will love to come again & food quality also so good.keep us the good job.All the best to your business.
