This spot is alright for long exposures and astrophotography is actually possible here. You will probably need an ultrawide lens to capture the Milky Way over either the nearby shipwreck or the lookout itself as it's in an awkward position. The skies are very light polluted, as expected. It is rated a Bortle 7. Good luck and clear skies...

Nice walking trails by the Shipwreck, the old Shipwreck is now a home for marine life and it adds a nice touch to the ambience. Winter time is the best time for a walk or set picnic surrounding the area. During rainy season or summer days the mosquito presents and could leave you very itching if bits.

Such a good place for walk. Peaceful and quiet. The shipwreck lookout and the bridge made the place more special and awesomeπŸ₯°. The place have lovely apartments on the side.

A very nice place to relax and spend some time. The shipwreck is a short walk from where you park up. It was raining heavy when I went here but I still enjoyed the view.

This is such a great attraction. There are few wrecked ships and it is next to a beautiful apartment's pool. Good place to walk around. It is also close to bus station and only 20 minutes walk from Olympic Park train station.

Great for pics. There's another one if you head towards Rhodes. Look up Shipwreck lookout Olympic Park by Weekend notes.

Beautiful spot to view the many shipwrecks that litter this alcove bay. Love it here because I have a clear view of Wentworth Point and Rhodes. It's sun-drenched and I recommend sunsmart. It's not far from the Bay Marker and the bird sanctuary.

Relatively hidden gem in Olympic Park, located along a popular path. Has a telescope and multiple historic shipwrecks.

Amazing view with the unique sight of old decaying ships. Small lookout area, but an excellent photo opportunity of place to take in nature and rest.

It's funny how someone invented a name and a history to this place. It's been there for ages and never had a name. It's got no significant historical story to it. A ship Was decommissioned and left there. It rested and sank. But somehow someone marked it as a historical landmark and Google accepted it. It's a nice place don't get me wrong, but now it's official. You can see the shipwreck from Both sides of the river but somehow this place is the official looking point. They even suggest buying tickets for it like it's an amusement park.

A nice quiet place that's part of a bigger walking trail. Great view of the surrounding suburb and was especially quiet. Most people you'll come past will be riding their bikes along the paths

Amazing place to spend a few hours. It feels like we are far away from the crowd. There’s a bird watch nearby. You can also have a barbecue.

Great walk and peaceful as you go along the river. Great to get out of the house especially during #lockdown for some sun and exercise for the day. Definitely recommend it. The shipwreck is better for sunrise rather than sunset because it's on the other side.

Quiet, cozy and relaxing environment. If you want to go just for shipwreck lookout doesn’t worth it. If you go for a walk , run , chilling next to the lake or discovering nearby park yes it’s worth it to come and visit.

It was a calm windless day and the water was like a mirror. So peaceful...

A beautiful view besides ship's wreckage + modern touch of builds on the shore clearly denotes the inseparable significance of history behind building the very present.

It's a nice scenic walk along the bicentennial Park's walking track. Amidst nature you will come across interesting places and look out points where yoi can take fantastic photos or simply relax or unwind.

You basically need a drone to see the shipwreck in any great detail but it’s certainly an alright sight

The Superb Fairy Wren is a tiny little bird. They are very busy and like to nab insects on the wing. They leave Bees alone. 😁
