Very rude staff and expensive for no reason!! I cannot express how much I regret signings up to this gym after seeing so many red flags. Since day one, I was having issues with this gym. I was inducted to the gym floor by the so called manager of the floor and he was nothing but so rude and ignorant. Unfortunately, I made the mistake and decided to give the place a chance and got myself in a 12-month contract! The gym itself with the price that you are paying doesn’t provide you with anything! The silliest thing is that you have to pay $2 coin (these days that everyone is solely using their phones to pay) to get a locker given this option is free in many gyms. The changing room itself is very messy, dusty and old to a point that I was feeling that I get a bacterial infection or something from it since the toilets are just in the middle of the changing room. Just imagine that they make you to pay extra for using those lockers. The timetable of the classes is very limited and always fully booked apart from the parking issue that I faced all the time!! Eventually, I decided to cancel my membership to end my misery, and had to pay a couple of hundreds to get outta this place. I am of course not happy that after all the bad experiences I had in this gym so far, I again had to pay a big amount. Totally don’t recommend this place to anyone as they would lock you in a contract so that you can’t get out. It’s just a waste of money for a place which is so dirty and old plus having very rude and unprofessional staff. Nothing in this gym is premium. Honestly speaking, I had a far better experience with fitness first given all that has been mentioned above.

Great place to be. Lot of space, and activities. Never disappointed here at all. The staff are friendly, and serious about their job . Not like the Sydney Olympics 😕. I Recommend this place 👌, especially if you have kids.

The FRIENDLIEST gym I’ve ever attended! Not only are the facilities absolutely world class, but within a week of coming here, I felt like part of the furniture. Friends in the classes, friends on the gym floor - where we even share smiles and waves with people swimming in the pool below. Then after - always someone to share a coffee and conversation with. Many of the members I met have been coming here for over a decade and I can understand why. I’m going to be here for life, too.

Love Next Gen Ryde. The classes are great love doing Vo2 & Boxing. The staff are friendly and professional and remember my name. The facilities are amazing and love the opportunity to bring in a friend on my Gold membership to show off and utilize the tennis courts. Sauna & pool. I would highly recommend people joining as I think it's great value..

Giving it a five. The place is much better than I expected. Plenty of pool space for toddlers to play safely. The pool area has lockers for 2 bucks, and family changing rooms equipped with toilet and showers.

I recently visited Next Gen Ryde and was blown away by the facilities and services offered. The club is a perfect blend of luxury and value, with more than 60 classes per week, functional training facilities, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, sauna, spa, and steam room. The expert trainers are knowledgeable and friendly, and the amenities are top notch. The club is clean, spacious, and well maintained, making it a great place to work out and relax. I highly recommend Next Gen Ryde to anyone looking for a health, fitness, and wellness center that offers more than just the basics.

Be very careful when siging up! Signed up our daughter, back in October 2021. Tried to cancel membership in July and was told it would be over $400 to exit contract unless we waited until 12 months was up , we notified them we would cancel at the expiration of the 12 month contract( in email). End of Contract date arrives and we are still being charged as they wanted an additional notice of 30 days. Really unacceptable given so many other gyms with flexibility.

Nice lifestyle health club but comparing to other NEXT GEN this facilities gym is fairly behind to offer the variety of lifting equipments and accessories.

I am really grateful for Shana's help and motivation. After months of contemplating starting to exercise, my willpower wasn't strong enough, but Shana's support and encouragement made all the difference.

I have been member for almost 20 years. Love it!! I've been swimming in the outside pool, all year around for most of that time (minus sickness and/or holidays).

Great Gym facilities with plenty of classes to choose from including Yoga, Pilates, stretch and stability and various others. Indoor and outdoor pools, and tennis and squash courts. Cafe is great and a spacious lounge area.

Not even a patron and I’m feeling lucky to have dodged this bullet Sent an enquiry to explore joining early in the year and called this week to follow up. Was phoned back by sales and organised a time to inspect and discuss membership Went in, and the person I was due to meet with was in consult with someone else (a family with many kids running around the lobby area). There was no acknowledgment of our presence at all - we just watched on sitting in old sticky leather sofa chairs whilst the kids circled us screaming and chasing eachother We waited to 45 minutes beyond the scheduled time and then had to leave without even getting to speak to someone because I had a late meeting to prepare for and never expected to be that delayed in starting When we were waiting I asked the front desk could I and my partner at least go on a self guided tour of the facilities which was met with an extremely awkward refusal by the young man working there It came across rudely, like we intended to free load and use the gym when we were clearly not dressed for exercise after work. I understand it may be policy but taking zero sympathy for the frustration of this kind of a delay and failure in ability to honour a meeting time is not good customer service The experience was not great so I decided to read the reviews and my oh my am I grateful for google reviews when it comes to businesses like this I’m a nurse whose been putting their own health last for too long, seeking a health club with a luxe feel that makes me excited to show up for fitness and wellness Not a gym with extremely limited flexibility and predatory revenue strategies I will avoid this gym at all costs

I have never been a gym person but I’m so glad I joined. On offer is weight/cardio training with a review of your program every 6 weeks with very knowledgeable trainers. A big variety of group classes, both an indoor and outdoor pool and also squash and tennis facilities, its actually great value for money.

Best place to workout/swim/play in the area by far. Only left as I was shifting further away. Was a bit nervous seeing all the negative reviews regarding cancellation but had no issues at all. Special shoutout to the personal trainers here. Totally worth the money if you use the facilities.

have been going here for a little over a year constantly primarily for the gym and it is the perfect environment all the time and always perfect temperature. there is a large amount of equipment though there should maybe be some more cable machines and maybe a preacher curl rack.

the gym is so small, it doesn't even have a hack squat. It always closes so early, either 5pm on weekends or 7pm other days. i do not recommend it, club lime, fitness first or snap fitness are 100% better options

It's frustrating that the steam and sauna were closed 15 minutes before our visit for deep cleaning. We looked forward to enjoying the sauna, steam, jacuzzis, and other services. It's important to inform customers via email if these facilities will be closed for cleaning, and it should be done after completing hours to avoid inconvenience. It's not acceptable at all.

Very bad experience with PT testing section with trainer Mike. As a trainer, Physically Super lazy, and not wait at the desk on time for his client, doesn’t want to put any efforts on the trail section.it’s a good gym with great facilities but need more qualified and hard working trainers! As a local here, Hope Next Gen Club can be one of the best gym in Sydney with top class fit out and top quality trainers and class instructors!

HORRIBLE CAFE SERVICE I went to the next gen cafe, and it took me 5 minutes to get served, then the cafe staff started screaming, simply stating ‘go serve the girl’ i deeply felt discriminated by this label, also as i was getting my order the person who was serving me put a baby face on and started treating me like a was a 5 year old, as i could understand because of my height. But, this is still unacceptable as they were also eating from peoples meals and then serving it to them. HORRIBLE, honestly i feel bad for them.

Opening hours is not set for working proffessionals but retired or jobless people. I wish they could extend opening hours in the evening. Fridays and weekends are worse and the centre closes 5:45pm. If you are a gym goer, better off to sign to a 24/7 gym. So disappointing hours.
