Oh my goodness! Those were some of the best pancakes I've ever had in my life! Such rich ingredients where you can taste how fresh everything is. The mimosa was amazing and I definitely recommend adding some bananas or Nutella to your pancakes! The interior is nicely decorated like a one of a kind Cafe and the service is fast and friendly. If you need a great breakfast or brunch spot, this is the place.

Quite often I find a long queue of eager (mostly) tourists and local diners outside Pancakes On The Rocks, a dining chain famous for pancakes, pizzas, steaks, and ribs. I used to find myself in the queue as well, but I think the restaurant is overrated. Food is good in general. Pancakes are nice, but overall nothing special about them. I don’t recommend you order anything else other than pancakes. You might end up with a tough steak, an overpriced ribs (better go to Hurricane grill), or a mediocre nacho plate, or worst an underwhelming pizza. Serving is generous. Pricing is okay for the area.

We came here for breakfast and were surprised that the place was slightly empty. We ordered the Pancake N' Scrambled Eggs, with bacon & Italian Sausages on the side. The buttermilk pancakes were fluffy and not so sweet. Loved it! Their bacon & Italian sausages were cooked well and were juicy. Their coffee is sadly not so great.

Pancake with Nutella, banana, and strawberry were super delicious. We never expected the taste to be so harmony. We initially thought that it could be too sweet. Pancake was soft, and we especially liked the bananas. 5 stars Serving within 15 minutes upon ordering. Ambience was great Walking distance 5 minutes from Circular Quay

The original pancakes on the rocks. Staff were top notch, great service. Food was delicious. The crepes look small but are very filling. Mexican potatoes pancake was alright. Strong flavours with the salsa. The pancakes are very filling. But overall good food, decent prices

Great service. Good food. Best location, close to the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Price is worth every penny. Any concern/issues you got, they do their best to rectify it.

My partner and I came here over the weekend because our local Pancakes closed a while back. I have been craving the chicken and mushroom crepe for ages now, so I ordered them here. Unfortunately they didn’t taste the same for some reason :( The crepe was still good however but I wouldn’t order them again. It was a little boring and I feel the filling was lacking. My bf loved his dish and I loved my iced tea. If you can handle waiting in line it’s not a bad place to visit :)

Came to visit this outlet because they have shown interest to adopt delivery robot due to lack of staff. But I’m always a fan of their food, first time at The Rock outlet. Environment 5/5 Venue is large, spacing is comfortable, we can during the brunch hour and yeah, please expect long queue, although the venue is large, they closed at least 1 quarter of the sections, should be due to lack of staff. Service 3/5 Was seated and waited for quite some time to place order, in the end finally a staff saw me but he said he shouldn’t be taking orders but he will do it for me. Then 2 staffs came to me again asking if I wanna place an order. Coffee 5/5 Ordered cappuccino, din expect to be such a size, we din manage to finish it although we both agreed that coffee made our brunch complete Crepe 4/5 Ordered the savoury crepe, can’t remember the name but it’s mushroom with some red sauce. It’s nice but not something I will order again. Pancake 5/5 Regretted not asking them to serve after food. Was rushing to eat the pancake because the ice cream is melting while we are eating the main at the same time. Still love the Nutella the most and should have added one more ice cream next time. A bit sick of it when all the ice cream melted, it tasted a bit too sweet without the ice cream. Caesar salad 4/5 One of the highlight dishes that I always order. However, I forgot to add the chicken which is why I like the salad, disappointed with myself but I still take the green. One of the best Caesar salad in town. Will I come back again? 2.5/5 Is a yes and no due to the service, not that the staff is misbehaved but the long queue and long wait for the order, maybe will go to other outlet since their food is quite consistent across all outlet

We dined at 9:15 on Fathers Day. There was one person in line ahead of us and quite a few tables available. The atmosphere was terrific, located in a historic building with some rustic decorating. The booths were spacious and comfortable. The menu was extensive, offering all manner of options for any time of day. The ability to customise our riders was welcome and the at the table ordering system is a plus. Our food was plentiful - I couldn’t finish - but parts of it were cold and it wasn’t particularly special. It is what it is, for this style of place/ The staff were super helpful and very efficient. When we left at about 9:45, the line was well out the door.

Family restaurant that specializes in novelty pancakes. My wife and I only ordered the breakfast dishes so can only review that aspect. Nice restaurant with comfortable booths. It's on the second floor with elevator access. The staff was helpful and friendly. Drinks and food served in short order at a reasonable cost. Be warned the pancakes are large size as well as delicious so it's easy to overeat.

Pancakes on the Rocks offers a delightful culinary experience that easily earns a solid 5/5 rating. My recent visit featured the Thai Chicken Savoury Crepe, a unique twist that left my taste buds singing with joy. The combination of tender chicken and authentic Thai flavors created a mouthwatering sensation, making it a standout choice on their diverse menu. The service at Pancakes on the Rocks was nothing short of excellent. The staff displayed a high level of courtesy, enhancing the overall dining experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, and the attentive service throughout the meal added to the positive atmosphere. Beyond the delicious food and impeccable service, the ambiance of Pancakes on the Rocks contributes to its charm. The cozy yet vibrant setting provides the perfect backdrop for a casual meal or a special celebration. Whether you're a pancake enthusiast or looking to explore savory options like the Thai Chicken Crepe, this establishment caters to a wide range of palates with finesse. In conclusion, Pancakes on the Rocks is a culinary gem that consistently delivers on taste, service, and atmosphere. The Thai Chicken Savoury Crepe is a must-try, and the overall dining experience is a testament to the establishment's commitment to quality. I highly recommend Pancakes on the Rocks for a memorable and satisfying dining adventure.

Don’t waste your time or money. The venue is nice and clean, the service was meh… but the food brought to our table was mediocre. I feel like their business model preys on the cruise ship traffic; knowing that nobody will every come back so there’s no motivation to serve real food. The cost was easily the most we’ve paid for breakfast in Sydney. Avoid this place.

Don’t waste your money. Food was bland. Barely nibbled at the food. Maple syrup was a surgery imitation. Scrambled eggs tasted like bad hotel eggs from a box. Hash browns were oily. Worst coffee we’re had in Sydney. A total cruise ship tourist trap.

Came here during a weather storm for dinner and we were seated immediately. It’s rare for us to go out on a school night and the kids were super excited to see the kids menu. Everything was reasonably priced - the kids ordered the Ned Kelly (pancakes with creamed butter + maple syrup with scrambled eggs and bacon) and The Mad Hatter (beef burger and chips). We ordered the Mexican potato pancakes and the Italian Salami Pizza. All the dishes were satisfying and didn’t take too long to come out. Our waiter Paul is the loveliest and funniest guy ever. There was another waitress who was super lovely and always came to our table to check on us with a smile. The kids really did enjoy their night out despite the horrid weather. Definitely recommend for families! Oh and the dessert pancakes were as delicious as I remember them over 10 years ago! Yummm

I recently had the pleasure of dining at "Pancakes On The Rocks," and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The ambiance was both comfortable and clean, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed meal. I couldn't resist trying both their pancakes and pizza, and I must say, they exceeded my expectations. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, and the pizza was equally fantastic. Each bite was a burst of flavor that left me craving for more. Overall, "Pancakes On The Rocks" is the epitome of comfort food done right. Whether you're in the mood for sweet or savory, this place has something to satisfy every craving. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a cozy and delicious dining experience.

Super quick service, although very busy. The staff were all helpful, great service. Not sure when the moved to this new location, but great venue. Really light and airy. Sydney staple, always a good time.

First time here for breakfast. Food was average, kids said the burger wasnt warm not hot, but they enjoyed their chips. Breakfast pancakes were not fluffy, more like cake. Maybe it was just early. Last time we were here was for dinner. Enjoyed my coffee though.

We went for breakfast. Self-ordering via QR code, so if you not good English speaker,no need to worry. We can choose the number of simple pancakes. The milk in the latte was gently sweet and tasty! I'm sure I'll go back.

The most delicious, fluffy, delightful pancakes and great options for non-pancake people. Went here for breakfast it was absolutely delicious and delightful. Super yum. Pancakes were fluffy and delicious and the toppings used fresh ingredients and real fruit. Plus they were pretty cool. Absolutely loved it and very reasonably priced.

Got a table on boxing day after about 10 minutes wait. Staffs were friendly though service was quite slow though not sure if due to limited staffing during holiday. Food was decent and kid’s friendly. Overall, nothing to boast about but a relaxing and family friendly lunch spot

We had a salad, a pizza and a pancake for dinner. The size was huge! The salad is good as the grilled chicken is very tender. The pancake is quite moist inside and depends on whether you oove this texture or not. A nice place to visit.

A bit worse than my first visit but it was caused by my order. 1. Food As per recommendation through menu, we ordered chocolate pancake. but it’s taste was such like brownie. and it was not tasty. 2. Atmosphere Pancakes in the rocks in Rocks market. so that is sufficient to enjoy. very big hall with vivid mood. 3. Offered service All staffs are relatively kind. 4. Value Not expensive. but not cheap.

  • 3/5 Gregory R. 10 months ago on Google
Nice atmosphere and great savoury food. Only reason for middling review is the extended wait time (45 minutes) on the sweet pancakes. I hope next time I visit I have enough time to try them. 3/5 because half of what I ordered was served on time and delicious

Overrated, the steak & pork ribs are terrible, pork ribs are super hard totally not enjoyable. Steak came burnt, the rest of the stuffs pizza, breakfast set are pretty normal nothing to shout about. Came with high expectation due to the good reviews, left the place with disappointment.

The food here is awesome. I did overestimated my ability to eat the three stack pancakes, but boy were these pancakes to die for. Fluffy and delicious. I would only order one pancake next time, but will definitely be making some future trips. It’s up to date with its QR system for ordering. The food itself was served in relatively short time. I will happily be going back.

Good food-fresh and flavorful with good portion sizes. Loved their Thai chicken crepe and apple crumble pancakes. Service was good & quick , staff was friendly. Good variety in the menu with lot of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages to choose from.

Good dining environment, I waited for three minutes at 4:30 on a Sunday afternoon, and it was not full. The strawberry pancake are generous enough to be shared. The price of drinks is not expensive, suitable for rest after shopping.

The peanut butter pancake is amazing! If you like brownies, you should definitely try the peanut butter pancakes! I also like the crepe with cream cheese but I wish there were no raisins. The server that served us was really lovely!

Beef Brisket was tasty and a good portion, but it wasn’t as tender as you would expect from a USA Brisket. Nachos were delicious! Staff are super friendly. The waiter was playful with the kids and even apologised because the Nuggets weren’t in the shape of a dinosaur as advertised. We were too full to have pancakes, so we will definitely be back ☺️

If you want tasty pancakes, this is the place to go! It's centrally located right near the harbour. We had amazing pancakes here with lots of toppings and the servings are huge so you won't go hungry. There's lots of different options to choose from, including non pancake options. It gets quite busy. We saw a line out the door and onto the street one day. It is a big place though with lots of booth tables. Definitely recommend this place if you're after pancakes.

The Pancakes are very delicious. I ordered a chocolate peanut butter with ice-cream for dessert, and it was mouth watering good. The chocolate mixed with peanut butter is very delicious and combine with the ice cream took the whole thing to the next level. 👍👍👍👍 Pancakes and the ribs is a must try. Will definitely come back next time I visit Sydney 😆👍
