Absolutely disgusted with the cleanliness in this place! The girls changing room was FULL of hair, the shower cubicles were slimy, toilets full of tissue and refuse scattered all around, cockroaches on the floor, rusted lockers, used plasters in the grids of the pool areas and crushed cans scattered around the pool area, don’t know how these guys can stay open and charge the prices they do with a straight face! It’s the same price as the premium virgin active for monthly! Outrageous and vile place to come to ‘relax’ spoke to the shift leader who stated it’s not their job to clean, and they don’t have cleaners, absolutely vile. if you do end up going bring some bloody thongs and a load of antibacterial to clean yourself after.. if the chemicals haven’t burnt your skin off from being in the pool for 3 minutes! Definitely made my eyes water. Won’t ever return. Shame on you.

Great pool and spa but the administration is very poor. People eat in the pool. Who wants to swim amongst bits of food afterwards? Or in the water where kids were washing their faces and hands from ketchup? The spa is crowded, there are no restrictions on visitors, and many people swim in the hot tub in casual clothes rather than swimming costumes. These include denim shorts, cotton T-shirts, and athletic leggings. The women's locker room is always full of boys under 10 who are brought there by their mums to wash them in the shower. Seriously? Kids that old can't wash themselves in the boys' showers? We can't change because there is only one closed changing room, there are lots of boys around, and the queue for the showers gets even longer.

Decent pool. But with kids are always most excited about the slides and play area. Unfortunately every time we come here the slides are closed. I’d suggest going to Olympic park or somewhere else if bringing kids. They should also tell you this whist paying. As I would of saved my $50 and gone somewhere different as the pool area gets boring fast.

This is not a place for family or kids. Most of the staff are not friendly compared to other centres where people are welcomed. Managers just back staff up to defend their staff blindly. They charge you money more than what the fee is and when you ask the girls at the reception for clarification, they are angry. When you speak to one staff member, another one will come and jump and start arguing with you. Just disgusting! Never recommond anyone to come here.

DO NOT go to this pool it’s a complete waste of time if you have young children under 6. As for the slides kids under 6 can’t go on them, parents can’t go on them and if your child is taller then 1.5 they can’t go on them. The staff have no idea what there doing they are poorly trained and we were told 5 different things until we spoke to the manager who was rude. The bathroom were a mess they don’t keep up the cleaning and toilet paper. Oh and not to mention the spa where you get felt up by old man rubbing their feet up your legs, won’t sit up and taking sneaky photos of you. We were there for just under a hour and left. Won’t be going back.

The centre should keep us the hygiene standard. I pay extra for spa n sauna but the place can be crowded with people who don't pay extra for sauna by looking at no band on their wrist. The Manager doesn't manage this place well compare to Bexley one and they should keep someone to control sauna place from time to time to check if anyone who don't pay for the utility should leave with warning so they won't do it again. Good place but with not good management and poor hygiene.

This is probably my favourite aquatic centre. Ever. Perfect for adults, kids and babies too. There is something for everyone here. We actually were planning on going to Sutherland aquatic centre but when we got there they informed us that they do no accept cash which is a joke. It worked out well for us though because we ended up at Hurstville aquatic centre which will definitely be our go to centre from now on.

I spent 15 dollars to enjoy my time in the pool on Sunday, to be presented with 3 lanes as an option. One to walk only , 2 slow lap swim, 3 fast swim. Life guards were telling people off every time you were doing something wrong. How pathetic having most lanes booked out by children’s swimming groups. On a weekend, so public can’t enjoy it, Waste of money, you could have told me when I called or upon arrival.

One Star! Extremely Poor hygiene. Stuff really should take better control of the sauna area. I have seen someone scrape dead skin from their feet using a plastic gym card while in the steam room and I have seen someone cut their nails!!!!. People drink from their water bottles and then poor water on the hot stone using the same water bottle which is not hygienic. I see alot of people who dont pay aswell and sneak in without wristbands. I will not be going back to this place. It seems that the stuff dont care or just can't control the place.

I believe they have recently done some renovations to the centre. My first time coming here was recently. I was impressed with the facilities. Having a steam room and sauna with Spa's is great to have. Will be bringing my kid here next time to enjoy the kids area

They will take your money in advance as a swim member then always have all but one or two lanes of the pool closed so they can make even more money from swim school. They don’t give a damn about paying members. You pay for a service but they don’t provide it. Go somewhere else if you just want to swim. They can’t even bother to have enough rubber mats in the change room. The staff are friendly and nice but clearly the management don’t care about paying members.

Three stars were deducted for the following three reasons: 1. There were too many people; they allowed as many people to come in as possible. 2. It was the second time in a month that everyone had to get out of the pool due to contamination. The worst part is they continued to let people come in when the pool was closed. 3. You have to pay extra for the water slide. Additionally, it was closed without any reason in the middle of the day.

One lady has stolen my bottle of water when I went for a coffee. I saw my bottle in her bag and informed duty manager and a lifgard boy. That lady noticed that and went to the changing room to hide the bottle. The duty manager has informed me to call police with an explanation that the bottle is mine property and I have to do it evendoutgh she checked security cameras which conformed my store. They said, sorry we cannot do anything about it. We can give you a form to fill out. I said, this is not my house and obviously you have someone who is stealing from your customers and we know who is it. To call police is the less that you can do. Unbelievable. I would never go to that place anymore. Management is very slow with their actions , they are kids.

The gym is fantastic, but it's the creche which is a real game changer for me. The staff are brilliant and I feel that my daughter is getting the best of care while I can take care of my own physical and mental health. This is such a wonderful service...thank you to Brenda, Shayne, Norma and all of the amazing creche staff.

I completely agree with all the negative reviews left by some people. If a place has a bunch of poor management and highly unprofessional and unfriendly customer service staff, it's quite unexpected to receive good and consistent customer service. Some of the girls are extremely impatient in the way they talk and provide service at the reception. If a manager comes to interfere, they just blindly defend staff without knowing who's at fault. Unlike most swimming centres, they give you makeover classes which you'll always struggle to complete by their tricky deadlines and eventually lose them. To me, it's an unethical business trick to snatch one's money. My job as a Dietitian and Nutritionist, I know how much patience I need to bear when serving a customer, while easily accepting their mistakes. It doesn't cost money to behave well but requires good intention and positive attitudes.

It is quite hectic in many different ways; 1- so many people but only 3 lanes were open to public so it was chaotic with the slow-medium-fast lanes. 2- people were using foot and hand equipment to make them go faster and one of them smacked my head with it, I don't get how and why they would allow those... 3- Sauna is really not that warm, you would barely sweat in there... 4- the steam room was actually really nice until someone decided to put some menthol liqiud on the steam machine which made it super intense, even tho there are signs for it, nobody enforces the rules at all. 5- you pay extra to be able to enjoy the sauna and steam rooms to get a bracelet but almost everyone who were in there didn't have the bracelets, so paying extra wasn't necessary, made me feel bad for paying extra... Over all, I wouldn't be able say that you will get your moneys worth if you go there.

Great place to go on very hot day. Plenty of parking off-street, good facilities and staff. Under fives free with paying adult. Nice toddler area, big pool, lap pool and water slides, SpAS and sauna. Good outdoor area for picnic too.

Would definitely go there for the basketball “Swish” and the soccer training, this itself makes a five star. Firstly the stadium was really big and there were a lot of places to play, the staff in this half ( including the instructors) were also incredibly nice, the teaching were also to the point and very effective ( creates a firm base to approach harder sporting levels). But the swimming section is like a downside to the place, the water being both crowded and dirty ( countless people urinate in the water), there are crumbs of food everywhere, some members of the public use the pool to wash their hands and the staff didn’t seem to care.

For the past few weeks, the open shower area has lacked warm water, which is quite inconvenient, especially with only 6 shower stalls available and one of them out of order. I suggest prioritizing the repair of the water heating system to prevent children from getting sick due to extended wait times in wet clothes before they can shower.

Rude staff member. As a long-time client of Hurstville Aquatic Centre with Blue Fit Swimming School, my recent encounter has left me deeply dissatisfied. My 10-year-old son has been attending swimming lessons here for four years. However, during our last visit, a staff member at the reception displayed blatant rudeness. I was charged for my 4-year-old daughter, who is supposed to have free entry as per the center's policy for children under 5. the rudeness is more concerning than the charge. I promptly made a complaint to the duty manager, who assured me the matter would be escalated to the customer service manager. Unfortunately, despite the assurance, I have not received any communication since December 1st. This lack of follow-up raises concerns about the customer service standards at what I believed to be a reputable center. I am disappointed that a facility known for its services has let me down in terms of customer care. The absence of communication and resolution only adds to the frustration. .

Easy to join. Staff that attended me and signed me up were super knowledgeable and helpful and attentive. Price is a tiny bit steep but well worth it. Gym for me is excellent. Not over done or too many unnecessary equipment to confuse you. I felt comfortable. Sauna, so far okay unless some uncouth ethnic individual jumps into the Sauna, pork mint water on the heater, without any consideration. Steam room works well. But needs a deep clean of walls and floors weekly. Toilets, cleanliness acceptable, again, needs more focus. Food, great chips, with vinegar and nuggets. Pool, have not tried yet. Parking, very entertaining, enjoy watching the many ethnic cultures fight about Parking.

I love coming to Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre. It has all of the facilities I need in one place. I come here for swimming, using the gym, swimming lessons for my children and use their creshe for my kids. It's a clean facility with helpful and friendly staff. I'm so glad I signed up to become a member.

Friendly community gym and leisure centre, welcoming staff who are always helpful. Great range of classes and excellent opening hours catering for those who need to get in and exercise before work, along with those that can only make it in late at night. Wide variety of gym equipment.

This is feedback for: 1. STRIKE INDOOR SOCCER 2. Bathrooms/shower cleanliness 1. I would not recommend sending any young children to their school holiday camp. Although Strike Indoor Soccer separates the group by age, they didn't really give any attention to young kids aged 6 and below. Nor did they try to engage the younger kids. I saw my kid sat on the bench for more than an hour watching others play. My kid wasn't even encouraged to join the game. When i asked my kid whether he kicked the soccer ball today, he said rarely. That's very disappointing for a parent to hear when they sent their kid there for the one day camp 9am-3pm. Moreover, his lunch bag and personal bag including his water bottle had his up and go spilled over it. Surely, an adult would think to help a youth to clean it up- than wait until the parent comes at 3pm to collect the kid with soggy food, and wet lunch bag and soccer bag. However, I'm giving it more than 1 star because at least the coaches appear to be polite and kind, and I acknowledge that it's not an easy job to look after so many kids- but seriously, don't offer this program to young kids if you're not going to actively and creatively think of ways to engage them. I'm very disappointed with Strike Indoor Soccer. 2. Hurstville Aquatic Center shower facilities need to improve and provide warmer shower facilities for kids to have their shower and get dressed. The floors and walls were slimey. Very unpleasant. Again, giving it more than 1star because at least the staff who greeted us at the entrance were friendly and polite.

I've only been to the basketball court section of the HALC but from my experiences the staff are exemplary, the facilities are solid, courts are clean, decent seating for parents and kids alike, however the bathrooms (basketball courts) are pretty small (1-3 people max). Other than that nothing to complain about. 👍

Lovely front desk staff. Gym, Spa and Sauna, swimming lessons and outdoor area are what’s on offer. Great community centre.

Not a nice experience. As of Oct 2022, the water slides and fountains are still turned off “because of Covid”. The change room facilities are very inadequate and dirty (esp the family change rooms). And it’s overcrowded.

Great heated indoor pool for family with small kids/Toddler. Friendly staff at the entry she was very welcoming and helpful, it was easy to join in. All Life guards are doing Amazing job to make everyone is following the rules. Keep it up guys!!! Toilets needs bit of attention the unisex hot shower is not working not too bad as it was a busy weekend. Spa is very busy try to go on the weekday. Overall good place to go and tired active toddlers.

Don't bother trying to book a court because even if the staff confirm it over the phone and in writing, you'll arrive to the centre and be told they booked it out to someone else. Our team travelled from all over Sydney to make the bookings only to be turned away. This has happened multiple times so clearly there is no point trying to make another booking.

Aquatic centre itself is quite nice. The group fitness studio was pretty average. They seem to have bought up all the old Fitness First weights. Carpet on the floor looked clean enough, but who can tell. They could substitute in a wood floor and a mirror on the front wall and make the studio look 100% better.

I have been going there now for three months with my wife and little one. The Creche staff are wonderful and very caring. I am so lucky that it's under ten minutes drive for us. We enjoy it every time we go there. Great place A+
