    • It locates in the main food street, easy to spot. • The interior space is adequate, but their décor gives such a comfortable atmosphere. • There are sufficient tables inside, but there are small gaps between. During dinner time, there will be a short waiting queue. • The service is absolutely efficient. They work really hard to serve during peak hours. • The best thing is they have vegan options with other various dishes. • Price is reasonable in the area. Servings are adequate. But the taste is not as rich as I expected, especially green rice. The lotus Pho is alright, taste lighter than the original Pho. (Who like the herbal-rich taste Pho probably will not a fan of the lotus Pho).

Lovely place for people who truly like Vietnamese food. This restaurant set up a new level for the Pho and rice paper rolls. I really like their lotus pho, so special that I cannot find at anywhere. The service was okay when I came, busy Friday but the waiting time is acceptable, the waitress is very nice and hard working. Definitely come again

Food was decent but service was definitely lacking. Despite asking for the regular condiments for our pho, at two seperate occasions, with two different waiters both just seemed to forget about us.

Went here on a Sunday night. Do not go here for pho at the end of the week. Broth did not taste authentic. Tasted watered down. Have actually had good pho here before, which is why it is such a let down to be served such poor quality this time.

A different kind of Vietnamese restaurant. The interior of this place is full of plants and gives off a great atmosphere. The food on the menu has a modern twist to it. Staff are friendly and service is good

Thought to try a different Pho restaurant for takeaway. Reviews seemed good but did note later that not many were recent. This restaurant is on the other side of the railway. First thoughts were hoping there would be sufficient turnover for freshness. As it worked out rare beef pho was delicious and very fragrant. Only negative was the meat was too shredded rather than defined slices and probably good do with a bit more considering paying for the extra beef.

Really delicious, fresh and tasty food! Very authentic flavours and a cut above other places I’ve tried. Lovely service too, especially given there was just one chef in the kitchen and we had a large group. I had the stir fry vermicelli noodles with tofu and loads of veggies, delicious flavours with lemongrass. My partner had the signature Pho with oxtail and it was so full of flavour, fresh, loads of depth and not too oily. Everyone in our group of 9 was really happy with their dish. Highly recommend

Great place to try a modern twist to Vietnamese traditional food. The restaurant is quite small inside with limited seating so booking ahead is beneficial. The time we arrived, service was slow, an extra staff on the floor would have been better. The decor is great, a lot of greenery and ample lighting. Open kitchen. Overall food is quite tasty. Definitely recommend others to try.

We went there on a Friday night and the place was busy but still had room without a wait. The pho there was absolutely delicious. Lots of meat, and the portion size was good! We also had the chicken and corn spring rolls for entree. Love the interior decor too and it's BYO!! Will go back again!

Went here couple times.. love the atmosphere here.. staff always friendly.. never have to queue which a plus for me!! I have tried their beef pho, signature lotus pho, green rice with stir fry beef and grilled pork skewers. Their pho were delicious but i wish to have more meat 😄😄 unfortunately not a big fan of green rice as I was expecting more flavour.. loooveee their grilled pork skewers!!! Sooo good 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 overall i am satisfied and will definitely go back for more 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Gorgeous little place, great atmosphere and excellent service. The food is *chefs kiss* outstanding! They have an excellent vegan menu, the photo is of the vegan tomato soup and the eggplant, lemongrass green rice. Deeeeeelicious!! One warning, the soups and salads are huge! Order wisely.... (we ordered too much... 🤣) Will def be returning. 🥰

Love how the decor is different to the usual Vietnamese pho joint. Extra points for being child friendly with bowls and scissors to cut up food for the little ones. There's a variety of vegetarian options as well.

A refreshing iteration of Vietnamese food that almost reinvents the cuisine. Here, you feel like you've been let in on the secrets of Vietnamese food that are probably common knowledge back in Vietnam, but thanks to fast food culture, we never saw. Great ingredients, well presented and very tasty. Amazing tastes and decent serving sizes. Treat yourself... You deserve it!

Have been here for couple of times, my wife and I really love the atmosphere here, small but cozy with very friendly staffs. Laksa is the must try, one of the best ever, quite different to other places, my wife always wants to try other dish but she cannot refuse laksa every time we dine in. Another recommended dish is the pork noodle salad, full of tastes and a lot of vegie. Service's sometimes slow at the peak time, but worth for waiting.

Have been to this place numerous times and the quality and flavour is something which has been consistently great. It's one of the best Vietnamese restaurants i have been to and everything they make is really good. Their spicy fried chicken with green rice is amazing and love the way they make hokkein noodles. Other things on their menu is also great including Tom yum soup, salad, fresh rolls, dumplings, etc. Highly recommend this place if you are craving for nice food!

Oxtail pho 👍 Springrolls & laksa 🫥 Oxtail pho was amazing 🤩 👍 Pho came with some interesting ingredients such as lotus root which more pho places should include. Didn't enjoy the laksa unfortunately. 👎 The broth was a tad bland, lacking in the flavor department and a bit on the milky side. Chicken corn springrolls simply didn't do it for me. 👎 Tightly wrapped but skin was a bit thick. They were shooting for something different, I get it, but the whole umami factor that you usually get from things like wood ear mushrooms was MIA. To top it all off, we had the bad luck of being planted at a dirty table. They did cleaned it up, but with a rag that stank to high heavens. 🫥😷 The restaurant's aesthetic was pretty on point though.👍

We always want to come back to this restaurant and finally after have same day off popped in for lunch here. Ordered lobster balls, beef pho and spring roll noodle salad (veg) Foods were amazing and clean, quick service. Surprisingly the lobster ball had a good texture and was really good. Can not fault.

Their signature pho with lotus root and tofu is very good. The broth has lots of depth and the use of oxtail gives it body. Crispy skin chicken was good but not a must order. Lots of interesting takes on traditional recipes makes this stand out amongst the other Vietnamese options.

(3.5 stars) Nguyen Garden offers a nice room for a mid-priced, midweek meal on one of those nights when it’s too hot or you’re too tired to contemplate cooking. Concrete minimalism is softened by plenty of foliage. The green carries through to the dishes, with many served with their signature ‘green rice’. It’s a mildly-flavoured update where raw rice is stir-fried with garlic then cooked with ginger broth before being mixed with ground steamed spinach leaves to create its minty green colour. We tried our fried shallot-topped mound of green rice with a too-sweet and too mild (especially after being requested hot) edamame beef curry stew ($21) served in an earthenware pot. Fresh greens are enjoyable when mixed through grilled lemongrass pork ($20), crisp spring rolls and vermicelli noodles which is stuffed with enough textural elements from fried shallots to lightly pickled carrot to keep you interested. Four vividly green vegan dumplings ($12/4) stuffed with mushrooms and chives had great texture and good favour against a requested pot of chilli sauce. I continued the green theming into my beverage: a pot of Japanese green tea ($5) that was weakly flavoured but stayed very hot in their two-storey cup and pot crockery. There are also fresh juices ($7) running from orange to young coconut, and you can also BYO.

Our first time eating here, but certainly won’t be our last! The food was absolutely delicious…everything we ordered was flavourful, authentic and mouth-wateringly delicious! The staff were amazing…prompt, polite and attentive despite the restaurant being extremely busy. Couldn’t have asked for a lovelier Saturday night out with our family. Thank you for making our daughter’s 16th birthday dinner oh so memorable!

A nice spot for lunch. Friendly service. The order arrived in a reasonable time frame. The beef pho with lotus $19 was flavoursome with tender sliced beef. The vermicelli with pork $19 was also nicely seasoned and appetizing. The two fresh prawn rolls with veg $12 were nice too with the dipping sauce. Overall great although the prices were on the higher end vs the average in Marrickville. A more modern take on the traditional dishes.
