Excellent and delicious food! The staff were great in ensuring we were being served well. The portion sizes were quite generous and the atmosphere was quite nice. The zucchini flowers and the empanadas were a huge hit and are a must try! The location is definitely not the best - you have to walk up stairs to get there, so a word of caution for those who would not be suited to this.

They have a large variety of Spanish tapas, all the food are drinks are nice. I think the only improvement required would be the alignment of background music. The music coming from the bar table and the speakers in the middle of the restaurant were completely different, that was kinda weird. Note that there is a long staircase to the restaurant with no disability access.

Went for family dinner last week and absolutely loved it. I can say they hooked me on spanish food! My entire family loved it and had something for everyone. Paid roughly $50pp but was worth it. Definitely recommend coming in a group to get the shared platters. My dad is a big complainer when we got out to eat but this night he was dead silent 🤣 I can say the restaurant is a bit loud on a busy night so if you are sensitive to hearing might not be the atmosphere for you, but it was perfectly fine for me!

There's not much street appeal to this restaurant as its not located on the ground floor however, once you reach the top of the stairs and enter through the door you'll feel like you've been transported to another place in a good way I guess (wasn't expecting much as the location was spur of the moment for our girl's night out and we didnt google reviews). This restaurant has an extensive menu offering a bit of everything spanish! Lots to choose from, you may need to go back a few times so you can try everything on offer. If you're lush and there for the drinks you won't be disappointed, I felt like their drinks menu is about as big as their food menu 😆 Overall the food was enjoyable and the service of getting the food out was decent for a Friday night. Its very close to a carpark which is handy. As we were there for a girl's night our main gripe is that we felt like we were being "rushed". It started with the food (there was still food on the table and we were picking at bits and bobs along the way) but once they had cleared the table it moved onto the drinks. I'm not sure if the waiter misunderstood but we still some sangria in our glasses but that got cleared too 😬 We did look around throughout to make sure we weren't hogging table space (still had tables available) and that we weren't the last to leave (nope, still customers eating and chatting away) so that left us puzzled. We had wanted to order dessert but decided it was a sign to move on so we paid the bill. Lucky for us we found a new dessert venue to move on to 🥳

Tasty food and nice atmosphere but service was pretty much non-existent. It took about 20 minutes to find someone to take our order. We ordered a bottle of wine and it was plonked down without opening or pouring and no one came to ask if we wanted anything else. I enjoyed the cured meat and cheese.

We had dinner. Service was good, menu knowledge was okay ish. We did finally get someone to help to explain the best options. We went with the tapas platter Plato Mixoo to share as we were looking for the food experience. The platter had a great variety and was filling and very delicious. Next time we visit we plan to have the Paella dish. Highly recommend this restaurant for the food experience.

Second time here and can say it's much better than the first time I was here. The tapas from the deluxe set menu were great. Service was bit slow between the tapas and mains but overall, the food and staff (and musician) were good

Nice food, friendly staff, nice ambience and selection of wines were good too. Portions of plate were also large but it's quite over priced and food lover will be left with a taste that something tidy bit is missing. The worst is they charge for bringing the cake from outside. $15 just to serve...Cakeage charges 🙄

First time visiting this Spanish restaurant with 6 people. It was very popular and busy night, however the wait staff were quite good. There are a range of tapas available and we ordered both the meat and seafood shared plates as well as the paella. Highly recommend the chicken and beef skewers, the the mussels and tomato broth (in particular dipping the bread with it) were all delicious. Do make a booking, as it gets quite busy. Will come back again. 😋👍

Pros Sharing platters are a must for those new to the restaurant - you get a taster of all the available tapas from 3 options (the sea, the land, or a mix) This place is great for groups and groups that drink - their signature cocktail menu and size range of mixed drinks (e.g. sangria) tastes amazing Their paella dishes are to die for Cons The spanish sardine on bread tasted great but there was not enough sardines and all the bread dishes were not toasted (I feel like it's missing the crunch factor which is a big no-no for me) They offer steak which is definitely not their speciality (we ordered medium rare but it was unevenly cooked: half medium and half medium rare and chewy) They offer salad for almost every dish we ordered and it's too much salad for salad that didn't taste that significantly good or special. Generally was an overall good experience for the family to try or for a relaxed birthday event. The interior design were really suitable for the vibe and aesthetic. The price does need to be more competitive. For everything we ate here (excluding the photo of the steak) it totalled $192 for 3 people.

We were a group of 8 for the night, with a booking from 7pm on a friday. The service for the Drinks was quite slow, took about 30min for the first jug of Sangria to arrive. It was a busy night so there was quite a hectic atmosphere. We were advised to have one of the packages. This was fine, but the issue we had was that it felt like our table was forgotten as we had to call out for a waiter after an hour and half and they realised that we had not served us anything. Eventually we received our food, but it came out all out once, which meant we got quite full and we were not able to enjoy the main paella. The food did taste nice and the guys did enjoy, but everyone was left disappointed with the wait, and then the rush of food. We did grab order another jug of Sangria with the red wine. It was overly sweet which no one finished or liked and it was a waste of money. If your in the area, give it a try but I feel that I have had better Spanish eating experiences in the city.

A great place for dinner, we got the share platter as the waiter said it was the most popular dish. It was great, lots of variety and everything tastes different and you can see the care that went into each dish. We found it a little big to be shared between 2 people, probably was enough food for 3.

First time dining here with my wife tonight on a Valentine's day. We are very happy with our experience. Location was okay as it was a minute walk from Eat Street Car Park. The staff were approachable and accomodating. Loved the ambience and vibe of the place. Very rustic and has a homey feel to it. The interiors were nice. Food was great. Had some jamon figs for starters. It was a flavor bomb. Textures were good. Pork belly tapas was the favorite for the night. The apple puree and the red cabbage eats well with the pork. The crackling was still crispy even after minutes of being served. Pork was tasty and juicy. The paella mixta was good. Not fishy, not greasy. It was tasty. Good serving. Chorizo was awesome. For dessert we had the orange cake. It was so light and the fresh fruits, with the mango sorbet goes well together with the bitter cake. Overall experience was great and we will definitely return!

I would only go back for a cocktail not the food. The service was amazing, no complaints there. The food is highly average. The lamb was overcooked, pork belly skin was far from crispy and the potato and egg omelette was not fresh. The food was not bad, just not good enough for what we paid.

The garlic prawns and sangrias are a MUST!! Absolutely delicious. Service was really attentive and great vibes. The paella, potatoes and zucchini flowers were okay but not necessarily outstanding.

Fantastic atmosphere and food! We went on a Friday night where they even have weekly dancing in the restaurant. Their Tapas and Paella portions were adequate for the prices that you'd expect a Spanish restaurant to be 👍 Staff was also excellent and super friendly 😊 For two people we went with two tapas starters and a main paella and also a drink which was perfect 🍽️ would definitely recommend dining here for a special occasion! (They are very busy so booking is essential!)

Wasn’t expecting much walking up the narrow staircase but as soon as we stepped in we were blown away. The restaurant had a very nice ambience and was busy. We decided to sit outside and the outside area was so pretty with lots of nice decor without being tacky. They had an extensive drinks and food menu, we were spoilt with choice. The tapas were cooked to perfection with all the meats being nice and juicy. Such a lovely place. Will definitely be back to try more food from here!

Fantastic Spanish Food. We had a group of 7 ppl celebrating a b'day & the service was impeccable. We tried several tapas, the highlight were the Cream Prawns and The Spanish Croquets but tbh they were all excellent. Others in our group loved The Mussles - the sauce / salsa was delicious. Spanish beer & Sangria were brilliant. For mains we had Seafood Paella, it was cooked perfectly, very tasty. Atmosphere was nice, we went on a Tuesday night so it wasn't too crowded. Customer Service was FANTASTIC. The young lady that looked after us was BRILLIANT......

10 minutes walk from Parramatta Station or a short walk from eat street carpark which has free parking on Sundays. The husband and I have been here separately before and enjoyed it enough to bring the parents here for a birthday celebration. Located upstairs from the Main Street, the upstairs dining area is spacious and colorful with numerous beautiful murals and tiled tables and crockery. For the four of us, we ordered the seafood sharing platter for 2 plus squid ink paella for 2. The platter was $94 and included salad, rice, pita bread, potatoes, bread plus 6 seafood tapas such as garlic prawns, cod croquettes, black mussels, octopus and seafood stew. We also enjoyed the squid ink paella which isn’t commonly available in Sydney. It is full of umami goodness. The serving size was generous and the dishes were very flavourful. If you book via the fork, you get 30% off a la carte menu (excludes platters, set menu and drinks).

Very friendly welcoming atmosphere with Spanish music and dancers at the right timing. Music may be too loud to be comfortable for some. Fast service, popular place. Chicken paella tastier than the seafood paella but meat is rather minimal in both.

Tasty Spanish food and friendly service. We enjoyed the Paella, Empanadillas, Patatas Bravas and Zucchini flowers. Our favourite was the Pimientos de Piquillo stuffed with goats cheese and pine nuts. Mocktails were unique but a bit overpriced. Sangrias were more reasonably priced and great accompaniment

Nice little Spanish restaurant hidden away in a more quiet street of Parramatta. Immediately I was impressed with the atmosphere of this place, it was soothing to walk into, very appealing to the eye. The food was good, pretty average for me. Nice selection of tapas to choose from. Standout dish was the chicken skewers, chicken was tender & the sauce was pretty flavourful. Little bit on the pricier side, cheeseboard had a slightly smaller selection than what I usually see, & the sangria was a bit smaller than expected, weighed down with a lot of fruit, although quite tasty. More for the true wine lovers, as the actual wine taste is quite strong, the fruit didn’t really sweeten it much. My friends quite enjoyed the food, so will return to try other dishes in the future. Service was relatively good.

It was nice to eat here, but the Seafood PAELLA wasn’t as crispy as I expected. However the braised beef was very tender and tasty. There were some desserts and mocktails on the menu, it’s worth to order. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to taster the Spanish food.

Quite a hip Spanish restaurant with cool decor, good selection of drinks & decent menu of which Tapas items are recommended. The steak, though ordered medium rare was a bit on the dry side & bland... surprisingly the sticky date pudding with ice cream was mush tempting with a good balance of being gooey & sweet! Music though can be a bit loud so small outdoor seating area is preferred to share a conversation over the meal which can be a bit on the high $$$ side.

Had a Tuesday dinner at 6pm. Only 4 tables of diners including us. The foods were amazing, especially the meatballs and creamy tiger prawns. We ordered 6 different tapas (small servings) and 2 desserts to share among 4 of us. Feeling very full and satisfied 👍

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lola Cocina, a delightful Spanish restaurant, and I must say it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Our visit was for my farewell lunch with colleagues, and we had pre-ordered our meals. To our delight, Lola Cocina got every single order correct and served them promptly to our table. From the moment we stepped inside, we were warmly welcomed by the staff members. Their genuine smiles and friendly demeanour created a warm and inviting atmosphere. It immediately set the tone for a memorable dining experience. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the food. We indulged in a variety of tapas, including chicken and lamb. These succulent morsels were bursting with flavour, and the chargrill cooking method was evident in every bite. The juiciness of the meats paired perfectly with the accompanying sauces and seasonings, making each tapa a delightful treat for the taste buds. However, the true showstopper of the day was the seafood paella. The aroma alone was enough to make our mouths water. The rice was cooked to perfection, achieving that ideal al dente texture. The generous assortment of seafood, from plump Prawns to tender mussels, added a delightful oceanic twist to the dish. Every spoonful was a symphony of flavours that transported us straight to the coast of Spain. To complement our meal, we decided to try their renowned sangria. And oh boy, it did not disappoint. The sweet, fruity notes mingled harmoniously with the tang of the red wine, creating a refreshing and delightful beverage that perfectly accompanied our feast. Overall, Lola Cocina exceeded our expectations in every way. The impeccable service, friendly staff, and mouthwatering food made it an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or simply indulge in authentic Spanish cuisine, Lola Cocina is the place to be. Don't forget to try their heavenly sangria—it's a true masterpiece.

It was a great experience, definitely recommended.

Checked out this restaurant for the first time after reading so many great reviews. Food was amazing and service was great! Every time a waiter passed our table, they were handing out napkins, which was kind of bizarre and a bit of a waste unfortunately. We will be trying out the tapas next time we're here

Celebrated my sister's birthday here on a Saturday night. The restaurant was completely full. The staff were extremely professional and organised and I was surprised at how fast the service was given the amount of people at the venue. The decor has alot of personality and the atmosphere is pretty intimate for a place that's was so busy No complaints about the food at all. The menu is very tapas heavy with a impressive range of tapas. The mains were limited to paella and a few standard mains e.g. steak. Highlights of the night was the squid ink paella, seafood soup and cod croquette. Overall definitely reccomend coming here. Everyone in our party left feeling full and satisfied.

The restaurant offered a variety of paella to suit anyone's taste buds. I personally choice the seafood one, amazing decision. The distinctive taste of the squid, octopus and the sauce created an amazing experience. Would recommend it to anyone who is hesitant.

Came here with some girlfriends and this place was a pleasant surprise. We started with some sangria - and kept going ! 🍹🍷we ordered a shared board platter which was generous and amazing ! We finished with desserts. They do close early for a Saturday night 10pm so go early if you want to enjoy a chat over drinks and food - or may e it’s just us! It was a long awaited catch-up

I was looking for a nice dinner and found this place. It’s been a while I had paella and the online photos immediately attracts me. I have ordered a garlic bread, mixed paella, virgin Sangria 🥲 and their crepe. Overall, the food is pretty good. The paella’s portion is decent and packed with all the ingredients. Nitpick: The paella is not fragrant enough. I’m not a chef but I suspected that saffron is probably not enough. The only complaint I have for this place is their entrance. We’re new to this area and when we drove by, we nearly thought that the restaurant is not opened. Luckily, I noticed that the address is on Level 1. Or else I’ll pass and miss this place.
