A great alternative to Manly Beach. Pretty and quite, without big ocean swells. A fantastic place for children, who could have fun in the pool, or on the beach, and watch the ships going by..

Beautiful beach, with an ocean bath. Need to be early to get parking as parking is on the street.

A nice little beach with an ocean pool and historic significance. Oh, and penguins. πŸŠβ€β™€οΈ This is a proper ocean pool (not just nets in the water, which are called 'tidal pools'). 🚻 Toilets on the north side πŸ“’ The wall and pine trees immediately behind the beach are the only remnants of the Fairlight House. It was the 1850's Georgian mansion of Gilbert Smith, the man who basically designed the city of Manly. There's a sign. The mansion was demolished on 1939. 🐧 Yes, penguins! Manly is home to the only colony of penguins in NSW, and these fairy penguins are also the smallest species in the world. They're protected, so dogs must be kept on leashes. You can see them at sunset certain times of the year.

The walk from Condamine St to Manly wharf is just amazing, breath taking and peaceful. The track is pram and bike friendly. The kids will also love it; atleast my 7yr old did. We were blessed with a stunning rainbow which made it a extra special and worth driving up there. Loved it and recommended.

Scenic views along the spit to Manly walk you encounter Fairlight Beach, which has crystal clear water, rock pools and relaxing atmosphere.

Nice calm beach and ocean pool- toilets, showers (outside) and sand. What more could you want.

Everyone here is so friendly. Place has a really happy vibe and that infuses people with big smiles, lovely impromptu chats (many cute dogs) and you leave with a real sense of calm and rejuvenation after a swim here.

Great beachπŸ™ƒ. It’s secluded but hard to get a park. No waves, just a pool and a area.

Great kid beach without too much swell. Sand is coarse but nice to lie on with a towel. Plenty of snorkeling, great rock pool and only 20 mins walk from the ferry make this a great spot.

My favourite little secluded beach inside Sydney Harbour, amazing views of both North and South Head. Never too busy, has a well maintained tidal pool and toilet/shower facilities. Excellent area for snorkelling and diving. The Manly to Spit walk passes through here.
