Atmosphere is awesome and the food is outstanding! My wife loves king crab legs and they do not disappoint! My favorite is their scallops with drawn butter, however I'm always torn between that and the whole pickerel or the ahi tuna that's fantastic. Great staff and a great bar as well. Make the trip you won't be disappointed.

I made a reservation for our anniversary roughly four days in advance. When we arrived the restaurant was roughly 70% full. They seated us literally in the waitress station. We asked to be moved and they accommodated us. We had the Lobster Bisque and French Onion soup and they were good. We were then waiting quite a while for our entrees . Numerous people around us received their entrees even though they had arrived well after we arrived. We then were presented with our entree's. My salmon was tender but the hash browns were overcooked to the point of being hard enough to be inedible. My fiancé's lobster was overcooked and burnt. She loves lobster and has ordered it in at least 30 restaurants. She has never had lobster so poorly prepared. I am not one to send food back because I believe those preparing food know what they are sending out. Those that deliver food see what they are delivering. Professionals take care of these issues before they are delivered. Employees that don't care show you how they feel about their position, and place of employment, and their willingness to remedy such situations are usually poor or worse.

Delicious food! We are visiting from South Carolina and seafood is a bit more scarce in Ohio. This restaurant offers fresh, seasoned seafood dishes. We had everything from calamari, shrimp, scallops, and perch. The service we is very warm and inviting. I will return to this spot!

Food was good they had a good variety of land and sea dishes, a little on the pricey side. Drinks were strong our and the server was great. They do have specials on certain nights, friday and Saturday they serve lobster bisque!! We went on a Friday night and it was busy, they do take reservations so I would recommend that on Friday and Saturday at dinner. This place has a very dated look and much of the patrons were in older generation. It reminded me of going to a dinner with my grandparents.

This restaurant has been here for a long while, but this was my first time. Great selection of fish. Tasty grouper and lobster bisque. Great service.

First and foremost, I am from the community. I have eaten here several times and the staff has always been very professional and personable. However I stopped in last night and ordered crab legs, ( I should have been clear) I was served king crab legs,, as you can imagine big difference in cost and flavor obviously. To cut to to facts they where way over cooked the waitress quickly told me that they would replace them, and they did. Unfortunately not much difference but i ate them. When I received my bill they told me the market price was 89.00 a poundand charged me for a pound. I quickly questioned this and was told again that it was 89.00 dollars a pound. This was insane to say the least. You can buy king crab legs anywhere they sell them in this area for 39.00 dollars. At the end of the day this assignment doesn't know how to prepare them and they are insulting over priced. (Rant over)

Our food was extremely overpriced and not good at all. The lobster was freezer burnt, the steak was so over cooked it was like jerky and the pasta and scallops were just watered down butter over pasta. Only good thing was our server who was extremely nice. I get the pricing of food but it f you’re gonna charge those prices make sure your food is cooked well and has some flavor.

Me and my husband went to try something new. Heard folks raving about this place so decided to try it out. The location is small and quaint. The service is great. Our waitress was super friendly and very attentive. Prices are on par with seafood. They serve bread prior to the meal. I got French onion soup and asked for extra cheese. It was yummy. Lots of onions and bread in the soup. I also got Cesar salad as a side dish to my meal. My full meal was the smoked salmon cakes and a baked potato. I chose 2 salmon cake option but my husband ended up eating one of them because they are the size of Burger patties; which is amazing I just couldn't eat two. Too full from soup and bread and potatoe and salad. They do have other options in case someone in your party doesn't eat seafood. Overall we will take family back there. My only sad commentary is that I wish they had hush puppies; sweet and buttery. Id buy that appetizer!

What a nice place! We live in Fl so no strangers to fresh seafood but the perch here is really great! Very sweet, with breading not overdone or over cooked. The Mrs had perch as well and she was very pleased. This is a must stop place in Northwest Ohio.

It’s an older restaurant, but it’s definitely a solid 4 star meal. It’s been a regular restaurant of my grandma and all of her friends in the area. The seafood isn’t too expensive. I had the bourbon salmon salad and it was great. They also are one of the only places in the area that serve frog legs. They also have good scallops and calamari.

They were quite slow when we stopped by for lunch on 12/16/23. The waitress was very pleasant and my daughter and I were looking forward to a nice meal as the restaurant has a 4.5 star rating. I order the Cod fish n chips and my daughter got a 5 piece lake perch meal with a side of French onion soup. The food came in approximately 45 minutes and my Cod was cold, soggy and oily as if the oil was not hot enough when it was fried, my and my daughters fries were both soggy and only partially cooked. My daughters perch were overcooked to the point that they were tough and chewy and certainly not worth the $25 price tag. The meal came to $54 and some change, I have had better fish from a cheap coney island for half the price. Safe to say we will never return to this business. Would have given them 2 stars and the waitress 4 stars but when I asked for a to go cup we waited 10 minutes and still no cup so we left. The French onion soup was good.

The service is just the begining, Ms Kathy is very attentive and she described the menu completely. My choice was liver/onions and it was exceptional. My bride had a cold shrimp salad that was exceptionally fresh. I will keep going to make sure we get to try all the menu items. Stop in early, they can get very busy and seats are close.

My husband & my 1st time here. Recommended highly by friends who live close & come here often. The service was terrific! We didn't get our server's name, but she was awesome! Thank you! My shrimp cocktail & entree was very good & tasty. My husband's cauliflower & broccoli side veggies was disappointing: 2 cauliflower florets & the rest was all stems. On to desert. We split a slice of the Key Lime pie. The graham cracker crust was so soggy, it left "water/juice (?)" on the plate. Lastly, we were surprised to see that we were charged 50¢ each for our take home boxes. I understand everything has a cost, but we felt nickeled & dimed @ the very end. Include the charge with something else.....but, not the $8 piece of soggy pie!

The waitress was really nice . The food was terrible . something I usually get if I see them on the menu are frog legs these tasted freezer burnt. The crab cake was the size of a dollar coin not worth the price. The kids got shrimp they said was ok but nether ate all 5 pieces or their fries. First time it definitely not what I expected.. like all restaurants it’s a hit or miss now a days . No I wouldn’t go back.

Good was amazing and decently priced. Very much feels like an 80's mom and pop place, but without the stickiness! Updated and clean, staff was friendly but not as attentive as we needed. The bartender pours strong! 7/10 overall

Went out on a date so of course that part was great. Clean, staff was very pleasant and on top of things, we didn't wait for anything, i was nit at all impressed with the food however. After hearing about this great place to eat, well my dates food was good. He had scallops and shrimp, i git the shrimp Alfredo with green beans that's what they give you I guess. Had my salad packed to go which they did that. The shrimp Alfredo was hot that was good, but it was 3 pieces of shrimp with noodles and some Alfredo sauce plopped on top of the noodles. It had ni flavor at all. U Cld see there was no seasoning in the sauce. The Green beans also tasted like nothing at all. And the salad and mind u I was at my dates house by the time I ate it awful. Again no flavor Lettuce cheese 2 cherry tomatoes And a big piece of uncut unpeeled cucumber 4 crutons. Not impressed at all! Now the French onion soup was great. We went for the lobster bisque soup that they don't have until Fri and sat. We went on. Thursday.

Pretty rough experience. Was in the restaurant for almost two hours, saw OUR waitress maybe 3 times, was told after 45mins of waiting for our dinner that they were out of lobster rolls. Forgot my shrimp order then got it wrong entirely. Filet WAY over cooked, was well done and was ordered medium. Didn’t get either of my sides, drinks were empty, food was lackluster at best. We just gave up trying to get our waitress attention and grabbed another waitress who got our drinks and to-go boxes for us. We were very polite and patient but seemingly got ignored the entire visit. Been here many times in the past but this was rough! We had over a $250 bill and still tipped well. Hoping the next visit is improved.

Always good food with decent service. My wife and I go there often. We both enjoy their salad. I’d rather pay a little more and get an extra piece of fish, but I guess that’s the idea of making you want more. A good experience any time

French onion soup was salty and the croutons were soggy; tasted like the soup was from Gordon’s Food Service. The 2 soft shelled crabs were salty and buried in batter. Could only faintly taste the actual crabmeat. The baked potato was good 😂. My husband had coleslaw with is entre. He said it was very good. After the coleslaw, the meal went downhill. Six fried oysters that had excess breading. Each were a little larger than a quarter and they tasted like batter.

We dine here periodically and most of the time it is very good. Though once had grouper that wasn’t fully cooked through and they promptly replaced it. Our last visit I got the swordfish which was one of their specials. Was disappointingly dry, thank goodness our sweet kind waitress got me extra dill sauce which was delicious & helped moisten the fish. Found out afterwards that it had been frozen, which explained the dryness, fresh seafood so much better, I should have asked before ordering but now I know better.

Friday night so it was busy. It wasn't bad...it just wasn't good either. 2 of us, no cocktails, dropped 100 bucks. Neither of us left feeling satisfied. Felt like we were ignored over the regulars which I understand but it's hard to get new regulars this way. Probably will go elsewhere next time.

This is by far one if my favorite places to eat in Sylvania. The food is always perfect and the service is amazing as is management. Very kind and accommodating with my elderly father who loves seafood. Definitely call for reservations as it is a busy place, especially during lent right now. Their clam chowder is the best in this whole area in my opinion.

What a great unique local place for great seafood. I don't know of too many seafood restaurants in the area that are not chains. The lobster bisque was amazing (only avail on Fri and Sat). Our group had the bisque, perch, frog legs, calamari, shrimp and salads. All thought what they selected did not disappoint. Would have been a five star but, as with most places, staffing was minimal and it took some time for our orders.

I have been to the Seafood Restaurant many times and this place never disappointed me. If you want great service, great food at good prices this is the place to go. This visit I had grouper with Cajun seasoning and it was amazing. Our waitress was on top of things, my drink was never empty and she was there to clear used dishes for appetizers off the table promptly. If your looking for great seafood at reasonable prices this is the place to go.
