Food was very mediocre. Prices were outrageous. I was charged for Bacon on my grilled cheese and didn't get any. We also ordered a lox omelete and It was not good either. Not going to be coming back. As an added bonus, they even have their "complementary" mints hidden behind the counter and you have to ask the busy person running credit cards and accepting cash payments to hand you one. Awful experience.

The service was no good. The food was burnt and tasted like it was sitting in a warmer for hours not fresh at all. Overpriced

Service is pretty good, there are tons of great food options and booths are very comfy. However the prices are much steeper than similarly located diners

I like this diner. Food is varied and well done. Staff is nice and attentive. We love to have breakfast there.

The omelet was amazing. The home fries were way overcooked. The server was rude and hardly acted like he cared if I was there or not. After eating most of my meal with no drink, the busboy finally offered me a refill as I was leaving. Maybe the busboy and the server should switch jobs.

Love the outdoor seating. Great burgers, fabulous onion rings!

OK dinner, made bacon crispy as I asked, food was good but toast was ice cold unbuttered when served ☹️ probably sitting at station longer than it should. The waiters were more interested in chatting & joking among themselves than customers needs. They need better supervision.

A wonderful old-school diner that took me back in time with fresh chicken, meaty burgers, and friendly charismatic service. I look forward to returning here again to see Lisa who really made us feel at home here.

Long Island diner. It was convenient to Sister's workplace and Mom's care facility. Service was good, waitress attentive and patient with Mom. Food was average diner fare. I chose a chicken caesar wrap, which could have used a side of dressing for an occasional dip, but I did finish. Mom enjoyed her pancakes, eating more than I expected; so, they must have been good. Sis also finished her burger and most of the fries (i.e.: thumbs up there). I would definitely go again.

I'm not sure why everybody's complaining. We went with three adults and the food was very good the waiter genuinely checked up on us every 10 minutes The food came out hot and within a reasonable time and the price was about what you expected $25 per person with one person bringing home leftovers. Very good experience.

Typical diner but the food was just meh. I had a gyro with Greek salad and matzo ball soup. The hubs liked his club sandwich. What I did like were the pickles. Also, considering it is a diner, the prices were high.

Service was a bit odd, my party made the perhaps poor choice to sit outside. They got my burger wrong the first try. Seinfield burger was pretty good, although the prices were disappointingly high.

We eat here regularly. Food is always tasty and hot. Whatever you want they can make. I can't think of anything bad to say about Celebrity!

Don’t even know where to start, this experience was almost a perfect example of what not to do in hospitality. First- dirty, old decor, stained banquettes and gruff waiter. Second- our omelettes were both significantly overcooked, hash browns reheated old potatoes. Third and most significantly: this gruff waiter actually filled in a tip for $53.00 ( which was same amount of check) claimed it was an honest mistake and refused to reverse the credit card transaction. Requested that we come back in 90 minutes to speak to manager. Finally, on what should be a relaxing breakfast on my day off, I had to get up in his face, threaten to call police and demand he take the $53 out of the register. Beware! Shady old dirty diner

Never again. We arrived around 3:30 so restaurant was very quite. It took about 15 mins for our food to come out, and when it finally came, my burger which I ordered w/o cheese, had cheese on it and both plates piled with COLD fries. Our waiter never returned to check on us. The corn beef hash was inedible (must be canned), and I had to flag the waiter down twice to ask for our check. I then had to track someone down in order to pay at the register, and the man who I assume was the manager, said “what’s new?”, not how was your dining experience.

I wanted to unwind and have a meal so when I passed this diner I thought I'd try it. Well the waiter was so curt, rude, and in such a rush. "What you want??" Then scoops the menus off the table and runs away. Didn't even ask me what I wanted to drink. Like I was bothering him by just being there. I realized this would not be a relaxing experience, so I told the cashier to forget about my order and walked out. After reading the reviews, I'm glad I didn't get to taste the food! Also a big language barrier. I asked for a booth for 2, and they kept saying "table for 4?" Took a while to communicate that successfully.

After 35 years of living in Syosset, Jericho, and now Plainview, I'm actually mad at myself for never coming here at any time. Coincidentally, the only time I've ever been inside was to pick up while I was doing UberEats or GrubHub and food smelled excellent, and eventually I decided on coming in for lunch today. I was not disappointment at all. My hamburger and my wife's chicken gyro was on point and delicious! The portions were huge and the wait staff was great! This has left a great first impression on me and I would like to come back. Thank you guys for making it a great visit! I give you guys 2 thumbs way up!

This is 100% hands down the best diner in a 15 mile radius. The home fries are first class and always fresh. Eggs, fresh bread and coffee always fresh. Needs more work on bacon but in my opinion this will always be my favorite diner. Server Sal is so professional, has knowledge of menu and always gets order correct. We are now regulars. Thank you for exceptional service.

I brought a date to this diner and we both enjoyed the food the service the atmosphere It was just a nice place to go we had lunch I can't remember what we ate some kind of 🌯 wrap it was good and couldn't finish it had to take the other half home with me.

It's been a few years since we've been to this diner. It's been updated since then and I like it. Especially with the heat in front of the windows. It gets cuts down on the draft from the windows. The service was fast and courteous enough. I was disappointed with the food though. My western omelette was lacking in the egg department and the home fries were over cooked on the top. It also has no flavor. Very bland.

Do not patronize this place !! Our waiter took it upon himself to give himself a $50 tip on a $50 bill. And then, when we called him on it, he tried to say he couldn’t do anything about it he was outright stealing.

Went for lunch with a few people and all of us had different items, burgers, pasta, wraps, salad, chicken, fries, and gelato. All of us left more than half our plates unfinished for the trash. The kids liked the ice cream. The taste of each dish was terrible. With all the choices to eat nearby, I'm surprised this establishment is still in business. Warning to stay away for lunch items. Definitely not returning.

Waiter was wonderful! We were seated in the older section of this venue. The carpeting had a stale smell and looked unclean. The other half of the diner seemed clean and new, even the bathrooms. We were not offered seating there. The food was typical. We had an omelette. I would seek a more welcoming dining experience in the future.

The waiter was extremely rude and impatient from the first moment we ordered. Meat was dry like a rock, I asked for medium, was barely edible. Waiter kept asking if we're done. When I told one waiter I'm not done, another came and took my half eaten food since I was only nibbling on fries b/c the meat was so dry. Customer service sucked, wait staff had an attitude when you talk to them like they don't want to be spoken to. I don't know what kind of management/owners allows their employees to act like this to customers.

Nice servings, decent diner prices, good waiters. Nice outdoor space for the summer. Kids menu a little pricey.

Went to meet a friend for a meal and catch up. The waiter and possible owner kept staring at us and making us uncomfortable because we didn’t get up right away and leave after we finished eating. I’m always mindful if people are waiting but that wasn’t the case & a bunch of open tables. When I went to pay the possible owner ignored me then ran my card slammed it on the desk and turned his back to me. You just lost 2 customers for being rude and having no manners. Very disrespectful!!!

The waiter was great, the food came fast, it was good food not amazing, all and all its a good diner, just felt like something was missing, not sure what

I was visiting NY and took my wife, daughter and son in law out to dinner. Most places had waiting lines, but this one didn't. Now I know why. The food was awful and the prices were not cheap. Sometimes you can go to a restaurant with a group and someone doesn't like their meal. But in this case all four of us ordered different dinners, and all of us hated our meals. Next time I will wait on line for a meal with the wait.

Went here for lunch. I ordered chicken tenders and fries, the first time the plate came out chicken tenders were black and fries were burnt, the second plate that came out fries where pale white and chicken tenders were very chewy. The menu states that the chicken fingers basket came with onion rings and two tiny cold onion rings were served. Extremely disappointing to have wasted $20 on an uneaten meal. The best thing to come out was the glass of water

That brought out a basket of hard packaged pretzels we didn't touch. They don't have a lot of menu options wraps, salads and burgers. And then they had a few other things I'm not familiar with being from the south. Like grape leaves, whatever the heck that is. So I ordered a burger it was ok, the bun was hard. The fries where good though. And it was pretty expensive.

I had the French Dip and it was wonderful. Service was excellent. My wife had the coffee (it was good) and the coconut creme cake and was very disappointed.

Unfortunately didn't get to test the food. Called ahead to check when the outdoor seating would open for breakfast and told 9am. Showed up an hour later at 9.05am and told no outdoor seating due to staffing problems

There was a bug cooked into my son’s grilled cheese. I was too embarrassed to complain and didn’t want to gross anyone else out at the table so I decided to not say anything. The food didn’t taste good and waiter never came to check on us. It was a super gross experience and I’m never going back.
