Food and service is good, only thing is I've been to the Golden corrals in the south and there about 10 times the size of this one. Wish there were more food options but other then that we enjoy going there with the family

Had a great time. Food was plentiful. Steaks were good. Clean and neat. This was my first time but will definitely be back again. Too much food that I didn't get around to trying. 😂

Our server, the front staff and the food were all fantastic. With a party of 11, we are well and didn't break the bank. Will definitely come back. Front desk was patient as we went through our checklist of kids and adults. I have 6'2", 14 year old, so folks get really judgemental and assume we're lying for the discount. Not here, they were wonderful from beginning to end. Our server, if I recall correctly named Janine was as lovely as they get. She was smiles the whole time with the most disarming demeanor. She catered to our requests like the consummate professional. We felt like we were asking for things in a relatives home not a restaurant! Excellent!

Plenty of parking space. I guess this place can get pretty busy at times. I've heard the line too get into this place gets long. It can extend all the way outside the building into the parking lot. We went at around 2:45 pm. They didn't have a line when we went. We were able to get right in and be seated. When we first walked by the buffet everything looked sloppy. Food was all over the place. They have large plastic blue gloves you have to put on before getting your food. Every time you go up to get food you have to put on a new pair of plastic gloves. Everything I ate was just so so. Nothing was really bad , however nothing was really good either. Everything is kinda blandish.Except the banana pudding. That was delicious, I'm pretty picky with banana pudding. This banana pudding looked fresh and was very good. I made a salad, got a few other things off the hot bar. I also got a bowl of clam chowder.I liked the chowder it wasn't bad. Overall I guess I would recommend this place. They have a wide variety of foods available.

Great place, they had a good but small selection of food compared to your normal buffet. They had us wear these blue plastic gloves that were a bit annoying but were fine for the most part.

I finally got the chance to visit this place. I wasn't disappointed. The food was really good. Many options to choose from. The steak was really good. The service was good. The staff kept our drinks on full and made sure the area stayed clean. It appeared really clean and most guest followed COVID protocols. Gloves were available for handling food. I'll be back again!

This is the new Updated Prices, Excellent services and major selections on food, etc. I would recommend the Sweet Bourbon BBQ Wings (new item they’ve added).

More up to date Golden Corral for location. Smaller amount of options for food in my opinion. Very clean though and nice staff. Even towards closing at 8 all the food was still stocked and fresh. Keep being the best you can guys and thanks for a good dinner. Nice to not see old or stale food out.

the resteraunt seemed really new the people working were all really professional and excellent customer service, the food was better then any other golden corral that we have eatin at and we have ate at several,, if i lived in syracuse ny we would eat there alot. we have already told friends how nice it was. out of 5 stars this resteraunt is a 6 star

The food was good, our server was nice. Unfortunately, Golden Corral will clearly hire any person off the street cus some of the other servers, were simply unprofessional.

Yes it’s Thanksgiving my baby girl is a traveling nurse we’re from Atlanta so yeah few away from home the line was long af but the wait was worth it all FOOD WAS AMAZING and our server Desire was the BEST

I wanted meatloaf, mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese, peas for my birthday. 3 out of 4 items not bad. Place very clean. Plates removed in a timely fashion. Drink refills without asking. Will visit again.

Great place! Before this location opened the only time me and my family got to eat at Golden Corral was when we visit family down in North Carolina and the one time we went to the Rochester location. So having this location open up in Syracuse which is closer to us is very nice. And it did not disappoint. The food is just as it was back in North Carolina. The mashed potatoes, the fried chicken, the nachos, the hush puppies, and so on and so forth are here and it all tastes great. I also liked that this location has steak during dinner service and you can have it made the way you want it which my parents LOVE. And every time we come here the stuff has always been friendly and accommodating. It seems that the people who work here actually like their jobs, always nice and chill which is fantastic:) Me and family love buffets and Golden Corral has always been a tradition for us when we go to North Carolina, so having it here closer to home is wonderful. And ever since Ponderosa closed down in our area we had a buffet itch that couldn't be scratched by Chinese buffets alone, even though I LOVE those. Some times I want to have some western food, and Golden Corral fits the bill nicely. A great Golden Corral:)

The food is fire every single time I go there. shout out to The Man behind the grill on the steaks because of the steaks be so good make sure you get it medium well, so it's juicy for you.... all the dishes they have out is fire... my kids love it my wife love it everybody I bring to it loves it, it is an amazing place to be when it comes down to buffets it is the place to be go get your grub on

Everything was good nothing was really great. The sweet potatoes were cooked perfect. Probably the best I've ever had, but they don't have any cinnamon butter for them. Good place to eat, if I'm in the area. I just wouldn't make a special trip to it.

I love doing these reviews just for days like today. Took my family out for dinner and we had a nice time. This place must be under new management or at least it feels as if it is since before the pandemic. Feels clean (and when you’re a mom you know what I mean about the feeling of cleanliness), also positive. There was a gentleman coming out from the back every 10 minutes or so I over heard him ask a customer how’s the steak, second time he helped clear tables, third time he came and asked if we needed refills. I asked him if he was a manager and of course he was. Myself being a supervisor can notice exceptional customer service! Keep up the great work Bill!!! Hard work doesn’t go unnoticed! From the lady in the green and all the children 😊

Absolutely the worst food we have ever eaten in any Buffet hands down! There was only four little tables to get food from it was all terrible and I mean everything was terrible everything was flat tasting everything didn't have any taste or ahead of taste you want to take back out of your mouth!! The only one thing in that whole place that I thought was decent was the hamburger but there was no amount of these to go with it no pickles no onions no anything. And by the way they have all kinds of taco shells and tortillas if you want to make a taco but they do not have any of the fixings to make atoxyl taco from the meat to the cheese to the tomatoes and the onions or whatever you want on it they're not even their highly highly highly hated this place it was the worst lunch we have every in our lives and down exclamation!!

My 3 year old son asked about a cheeseburger. Which happens to be a lunch menu item. A gentleman named Steve overheard my husband and I talking about it. He asked where we were sitting. The amazing man brought back 2 burgers! He did not have to do that. But he did. Absolutely grateful! Went above and beyond.

The food was delicious, and for a good price of 4 people. I recommend if you're looking for a good price worthy buffet.

I have been dining at Golden Corral for years and it’s one of my favorites! This particular location had friendly staff but I felt the food wasn’t as good! The rolls were a tad over cooked and cold, the steak wasn’t as seasoned as usual! Also they should have a lighter price for vegetarians who won’t eat as much.

We went there on the slowest night of the week at just an hour before closing… I’ll be honest, I did not expect a wide variety of food and for what would be available-I did not expect it to be fresh. I was 100% wrong!! They had a WIDE variety of choices that were very, very fresh. Our server, Maysiel, was wonderful and very attentive. The manager was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make sure we were seated in a good area. Also, it was my daughter’s 8th birthday and the server collected other servers and made up a cute, happy birthday tray and sang happy birthday to her. The restaurant was quite busy for a Tuesday night yet it was quiet and very clean. The staff seemed very friendly and kept busy. We will DEFINITELY be returning! I must say this place hold sentimental value to my husband and I, as we share similar childhood memories of our fathers taking us there. We are glad to be able to continue this!

It's a good place for family with all ages to dine. Its a buffet that has pizza, pasta, steak, roast beef & chicken. Various salad bars but the dessert section is smaller in this particular one. $ 17/ person u can have satisfied dinner it's not bad in this inflation era. We gave 30% tips for this friendly waitress who served us.

We had a great experience, great food, and a nice juicy, tender steak right from the grill. Breaded Shrimp was jumbo and perfect, had hush puppies, Burbon chicken, fried chicken, which was juicy and crispy, rice on the side was moist and tasty, salad and dessert. The oatmeal cookies were a bit dry tho. There were 2 of us on a Sunday at about noon, a few in line, but it was starting to get busy although the line wait went quickly. 2 meals, 1 water, and 1 soda were $39 and change. Plus a tip for the nice lady picking up our dishes at our table. You can't have that much diversity for that price at the local steakhouse. Everything was clean as well, and they have gloves to use for getting your food.

The food was delicious as per usual! The staff was great! Customer service there terrific. We were very pleased! Will definitely be going back in the future!

Great to be able to go there again. Happy they are open. Although, wearing gloves to handle serving utensils was a bit silly with all the cross contamination going on, but maybe that's just a health dept mandate. I'll gladly wear gloves to eat there. Great food, friendly atmosphere

The atmosphere was not that great as the patrons were kind of loud. The waitress was really great. She was polite, helpful and very friendly. The reason for four stars is because some of the buffet items were not looking their best. The hot fudge dispenser was broken and should have been removed or covered. The mixed salad greens were a bit wilted. Other than those two items, everything else was really great, especially the steak. It was a great meal for the price.

Everything was hot and fresh. Enjoyed our meal!
