after a six week session with a number of good dives, angel sharks and rays became the norm. excellent dive guide Matteus, support from Paul and Val and the best coffee on the island. many thanks.

Hello all, we choose this dive center based on reviews, it was well organized and the DM who was an instructor helped us getting our rental gear. Full long 5 or 7mm wet suits with hoodies, BCD, regulator, booties & weights were all well maintained. The dive plan was respected for 30m for 46 min on NTX30. When my girlfriend and I arrived for a Snorkel experience, we were greeted by Valerie who walked us through everything and set us up with our wetsuits and snorkels. She chatted us through what we would be doing, and some basic safety information. Once out in the water, we had a fantastic time, just off the shore there is such an amazing variety of wildlife, and Valerie helped to point out some of the animals we had missed. Upon our return, we caught the end of the 3 Kings parade featuring camels and a bunch of costumes. Before heading off we had a lovely chat with some of the other staff at the center and headed off for lunch. Overall, super friendly and knowledgeable staff, an approachable snorkeling experience just off the shore, and a unique way to see some of Lanzarote's wildlife!

Would just like to say a massive thanks to Paul and Val you are running an exceptional dive centre and go above and beyond what anyone has to do I can’t wait to come back and dive again if I could give you 10 stars I would. We will see you again just as soon as we can and experience more of the wonderful dive sites that you offer and a massive thanks to Mateus hope I have spelt it right lmao

Excellent location, friendly, well-equipped. Very close to some great dive sites. Paul, Val and the rest of the dive team seem at home with everyone, from beginners through experienced and independent rebreather divers. Good coffee too. Very happy to recommend them and looking forwards to returning.

Had an amazing time snorkelling with Valerie! All the equipment was supplied and felt brand new. We saw loads of sea life including a few baby barracudas. Our instructor Valerie answered all of our questions and and taught us much more. I loved learning all about the various sea creatures, most of which I wouldn’t have spotted without her. An extremely fun and educational morning and I can’t wait to visit again (and maybe try out diving). The whole centre and everyone that works there is lovely, with changing rooms on site as well as a few refreshments. Will be back soon!

It was my first dive experience and it was great. Both Matthias and Valerie are very professional and experienced teachers. Matthias is very patient and committed to teach you every detail you need to know below the water. Valerie is warm-hearted and encouraging when I was unsure. Thank you so much!

I'd give 100 stars if I could! Paul and Val accommodated me at short notice, they are very friendly and relaxed. I often have kit issues due to my body type and they worked really hard with me to make sure I had kit that would get me comfortable in the water. They are knowledgeable and passionate about diving, I really apriceates all of the extra tips and tricks.

Very good and friendly dive centre. Took a student out for a bsac Ocean Diver open water dives,Paul and Val were very accommodating. Free nitrox with every cylinder . Very close to shallow training dive sites plus use of a boat for some of the deeper dive sites. Highly recommended 👌

It was one of our first times snorkelling and couldn’t recommend it enough. Val and paul were both lovely and really easy going and helpful. Perfect way to be to spend a few hours.

Just for context before I start, my friend and I are both Advanced Open Water Divers with 30/50 odd dives... well plenty more now :) We have just come back from Lanarote and had a fab week of diving with Val, Paul and Glyn! It was my friend's birthday while we were there and they made it very special for her. We had asked to do a refresher dive first as we were a little rusty post COVID and Glyn did a fab job of increasing our confidence and getting us comfortable before we went to explore the wrecks and wildlife surrounding the island. We had originally booked this trip for May 2020 and it had to be cancelled but Val had kept in touch with us and kept us informed and as soon as we could make dates work we did! I'm so glad we did because the whole centre is small but perfectly formed and everyone was so informative and helpful and we even managed to squeeze in a nitrox course with them. We loved every minute and we would not hesitate to return. Hopefully see you guys soon!

We went snorkeling yesterday with Valerie and all is can day is WOW!!! I was so nervous as I am not a strong swimmer, but Valerie put me at ease and was by my side the whole time. Thanks to the fish for allowing us be part of their world. It was mesmerising seeing them in their natural environment. This is an experience I will never forget and will do again and again. If you are thinking about doing it don't hesitate a second longer. Thanks Valerie for an unforgettable day ❤️

Excellent dive just along from the harbour - Paul and Val were super friendly and helpful and made sure all the equipment was set correctly. Paul guided us on the dive. Saw many fish and an octopus hiding under a rock. Visibility was good - it had been very windy for several days. Highly recommended.

I first did the Discover Scuba diving experience in 2015 here, decided it was for me and in 2016 did my full open water diver course with Lanzarote Dive Centre. Val and Paul are a nice couple, it was good to see them again after a few years. On my recent holiday I did 3 dives with them, the boat dive to look at the wreck near the harbour was particularly good. Following our last dive, Paul uploaded all his footage and photos to Onedrive and provided me a link so I could have copies of all the high resolution photos and videos. My mate who is also PADI open water qualified joined me but hadn’t dived for about 10 years and had lost some of his confidence. He was having issues with breathing water through his nose! Val & Paul kindly lent us some kit for a couple of days so my friend could try a few of the basic skills in our villas private pool. My mate felt much more comfortable doing some practice in his own time, which was a massive help for his confidence. Next time I visit the island I’ll definitely be visiting this dive centre again and would recommend them to anyone who is qualified as a scuba diver, wants to become qualified or just for go a snorkel!

This dive centre has everything you could need to have a wonderful scuba diving experience. Paul and Valerie who own the centre are always on hand to help you and they both have a wealth of experience with every level of diver. The centre also has a shop with spares,snacks and coffee! It is ideally situated in the harbour and Glyn who led all our divers is an excellent guide. I will be returning as soon as possible. SUPERB!

Absolutely brilliant experience, my daughter took the try dive and was delighted.Paul was reassuring and methodically instructive. I wasnt able to dive but was happy to see my daughter go for it .

Val and Paul from lanzarote dive centre are just amazing, from the first email to the amazing dive sites that were organised for me, being a newbie diver my anxiety was put to rest from the first dive, Paul took me on a underwater journey that was just perfect from pointing out rays, sleeping angel shark and the abundance of so many varieties fish, to crabs and snails, would recommend this dive centre to all and I will be going back later in the year to do it all again

My husband Jim and I were recommended to Paul & Val by old guests of ours that used to dive with us when we worked in Sharm. We checked in on the first day of our holiday and had a good chat with the guys to make a plan for diving over the 11 days we were in Lanzarote. We started with a beach check dive and then followed this with 2 sets of 2 days of boat diving, a total of 8 dives. We were either briefed by Matteus or Paul, both of whom explained the sites & rules clearly. We were lucky enough to see a couple of angel sharks even though it was very early in the season for them as well as seeing rays on every dive bar one. Val made sure we felt welcome and were looked after between dives. We will definitely dive with them again as and when we are in Lanzarote next and would highly recommend them.

We travelled out to Lanzarote to complete some further development courses instead of attempting them in the cooling waters of the UK. Val’s communication beforehand including our questions was much appreciated and Paul’s experience shined through throughout the trip, his knowledge made us really comfortable with the new skills we were learning. We had a great trip and are hoping to visit again next year.

Amazing dive centre. I was very selective on the dive centre we picked as my two teenagers 13 &16 were the ones diving. The minute we spoke to Valerie I knew it was well run and safety a huge priority. Glynn took the boys on two dives and they had an amazing time, he is an excellent teacher. I would highly recommend Valerie, Paul and Glynn, we can’t wait to return.

Spent four days diving with Lanzarote dive centre and cannot speak highly enough. Val and Paul run a very efficient operation always on hand with any questions and support. Glyn the lead instructor was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable, attentive and supportive on all dives and a great instructor, he also takes a great photo/video!!

Had an excellent three days diving with Lanzarote Dive Centre. Valerie arranged the dives perfectly for my limited experience. My guide/mentor/instructor Glynn was incredible, he has a sixth sense when it comes to finding hidden sea creatures. I have every intention of returning next year.
