I had a great stay at the Narita Airport Samurai Hostel! For the value of the cost I paid, it was very good. I also received complimentary driving service from the owner. Once you get used to the way to and from the Hostel it is easy to get around. I got the best value for the amount of time I was in the area. I was able to do all the things I had set out to do over a period of 10 days. The bed was not very comfortable but again it was just right for the price I paid. I would recommend this Hostel for those on a budget who still want to make the most of their stay in that part of Japan! :)

This was a great place to stay to break up a trip in Japan, very quiet surroundings which is perfect when wanting a break from the busier cities just a walk away from the beach where I had some of the best shrimp I’ve ever had, rooms are extremely spacious and had one to myself, the building itself has a lot of history being an old ballet school, the owner is extremely helpful he went above and beyond to help me getting to and from airports he also has many stories and insights having travelled a lot himself making evening chats something to look forward to! I would highly recommend staying here

I am very impressed with this accommodation. There is an airport shuttle service, convenient transportation, complete facilities at an affordable price, the owner of the hostel is service-minded. The surrounding environment is very good. Walking distance to the beach, walking distance to the minimart, looking at the beautiful houses. and the people are friendly

The place was so clean, organize and so affordable. The owner is also approachable and so friendly. He helped us with all our concerns about our quarantine. He always maintains the cleanliness of the area. We had a great time staying in the hostel. I highly recommend this to all people who are planning to have their quarantine or visit Japan.

Although I’ve encountered quite a few incidents during my stay, the owner is very responsive and helpful all along. The hostel is situated in a quiet neighbourhood and is very close to the beach which is really nice. Travelling around town is a bit hard as it is a remote place and public transport is not too convenient, but it is good that there are bicycles in the hostel which you can use to explore around town. Overall a good experience during the stay, and it’s very affordable.

Great affordable place to stay for quarantine in Japan. The owner first picked us up at Narita airport and drove us all the way to the hostel (and also to the nearest train station when we finished quarantine). Throughout our entire stay, the owner was very friendly and accommodating to all of our needs. For instance, since there were not much people staying at the hostel when my sister and I arrived there around 2 months ago, the owner kindly gave us a bigger room for us to quarantine at which was very thoughtful and kind of him to do so. The room, bathroom, kitchen was well-kept and clean and the amenities (free towels to use in the hostel, Wifi, A.C., bed, kitchen utensils and plates) were more than sufficient for the price. There are also two bikes available for the guests to use which I rode with my sister to buy groceries and food at a supermarket. (convenience store is nearby as well) Overall, a very pleasant experience and will definitely visit in the future.

The owner is extremely friendly and a wonderful host. He picked us up from the airport and brought us to the hostel. He even drove us to a temple that’s over an hour away, just so we didn’t have to take the train! He also gave us excellent places to go out for dinner and lunch. There are also 2 bikes that can be used by anyone which is a great way of getting around to see everything. One thing to keep in mind if coming in march is that it is very rainy and also very windy. Overall a great place to stay and take in the Japanese coastline.

Great to stay at for solo travelers that are jet lagged. The host gave me amazing information about the area and Tokyo. He also helped me take the correct bus to Tokyo. I highly recommend you bring Japanese Yen and make sure you have a few smaller yen if you are planning on taking a bus to Tokyo (1600 yen) there is also a 7-11 about 10-12 minutes walking distance if you need more cash or want to eat (since most places around there are open after 10am. The beach is also within walking distance so if you plan on coming in the summer you would probably have a much better time there. Good Luck and Enjoy your time in Japan!
