(Translated by Google) No re-entry. There is a drink vending machine (a place that is very difficult to find), and eating sweets (even candy) is prohibited. Chairs and sofas are only small at the vending machine. The number of seats is small, and there are people in the camp, so I can't sit down. Other than this, there is only a drawing place where you can sit, so there is no place for an attendant to sit and wait. Really unfriendly to families with babies and old people. It's nice and beautiful, but if you're experiencing TeamLab work elsewhere, it's enough once. The summary is full of projection mapping in the dark. I went there 5 times, but I get bored because the expression is simple. He said he would wander, but I want a minimum map and bench. I wander around the same place, and I feel sick. If you don't know the lamp room and the forest of movement, you won't be able to find its existence or the stairs to go to. It was dark and the floor was rough, so strollers and elderly people seemed to have a hard time. Sneakers are recommended for footwear as it is assumed that you will be standing all day long. Short skirts are dangerous because there is a room with a mirrored floor, and the underwear is exposed on the floor. Please be careful.

It’s great museum!! You can see special light world here!! I highly recommend you to buy the ticket in advance. You can take all of the stuff here!!! Most part of here is dark but beautiful lights make you feel better!! They don’t have a specific route to get the exit you can go around freely. Maybe it takes more than 3 hours if you want to see all slowly. Especially the special exhibitions like lantern room needs line to enter. You need to wait more than 1 hour. So if you want to enjoy very much, get in early!! They don’t have a gift shop. Good place. You will have a great experience you’ve never seen.

An interactive Digital Light Show Art Museum. Exhibits seem to be alive and they move freely from room to room. Many of the exhibits will interact with guests and change color and directions as they interact. Great for a family outing. Can spend hours here, well worth the price of admission. Note: advance tickets are required and have to purchased online. Tickets are only good for a given date and time selected at the time of purchase. An Incredible place that will challenge both your perceptions and senses.

Can't fully express the magic in this place with words and pictures alone. It is very much worth the hype ( especially coming from someone who is not really a museum enthusiast). There is no traditional route for viewing the art. You are just meant to explore and get lost in it. The art also "moves" around the exhibits. Just an overall amazing experience.

I'm so glad we went here today. What an experience! Our kids absolutely loved it and so we did! It's for everyone really! We didn't have to buy a ticket in advance ( we got here on a Monday and school day for Japan) but do so if its a weekend or school holidays, you could spend a long time in this place... its super special but we left after 1h30 ( our kids were starving) there is no food in this place - just a small cafe and vending machine so be warned! Don't miss this place if you come to Tokyo it's really sad that it's closing down at the end of August. 😪

Very fun and cool!!! I recommend bringing children here, there are lots of child friendly activities and some activities are only for children. If you time it right you can avoid waiting in long lines! I would skip the floating nest, it gave me motion sickness 🤣 Everything else is super cool. Definitely do a quick lap before you commit to waiting in a massive line. The active part is where the big balloons are! ✨ I think that the other one is more geared to adults. But both are probably great for anyone.

This was spectacular! If you can make it in before they close it is definitely worth it, make sure you buy tickets ahead though. Also would recommend the En Tea House experience add on! This is equally amazing for kids and adults and even though it was busy when we went, none of the waits were too long and we were able to enjoy everything. Definitely bring your camera and plan to spend plenty of time exploring!

I never saw the old version, but this new reopened exhibit was absolutely fantastic. Beautiful rooms and installations. We took great pictures and videos. It was not too busy, but you do have to reserve tickets in advance. It surpassed my expectations and I'd recommend it to anyone!

It was nice! Took about 1.5 hours to walk through most? of it (we probably found most of the rooms) and take pictures. Immersive. The new exhibits/rooms were fun as well! Tickets will probably require online reservation in advance.

Digital art museum that’s super engaging for children and adults. We took our daughter when she was 6 and again when she was 8 and both times were super fun. We stayed about 3 hours the first time and 4 the second time. The lines were super long for the more popular areas the first time we went, but due to COVID, this last visit (July 2021) allowed us to see and enjoy all the exhibits.

Amazing! Went to the other teamLab japan location back in summer 2019 and I prefer this exhibit over that one. The location is great for what I wanted to do for my overnight layover. I booked a few weeks in advance as I saw that they were opening in Feb 2024 (we went on Feb 22). It was my wife’s first time in Japan and this was definitely one of the highlights, even if it was a short amount of time in the city. The artwork was great and I hope they keep adding more artwork in the future! We went at 11:30am and spent about 2:30hrs there. Could easily walk through the exhibit within 1hr but we took many photos and videos, and that added up.

Always quite an experience. Like a maze it was fun exploring and trying to find the hidden rooms. Expect to get lost and revisiting rooms and easily spending more than an hour here. Always try to get the earlier times so you don’t get kicked out. Get there early and explore the mall and get some pastries and confectionary gifts. There are lockers and umbrella storage at the exhibition so don’t worry.

Absolutely loved coming to this art exhibit. It's unlike anything I've seen before, and they did a great job with the overall atmosphere. The lights and exhibits themselves are really interesting, but they nailed it with the whole package of lights, instructiveness, and the sound/music. If you're in Tokyo, definitely make sure you go out of your way to come to this exhibit. We were able to take the train over to the area and could easily walk over to the exhibit.

Amazing family experience. We went on a weekday during winter and it was still very busy. We loved it anyway. Make sure you take photos quickly within the lantern room because you don't get long in there! Absolutely worth the price. There's a great section at the end where you can create your own sea creature that becomes a part of the art. Loved this place!

A splendid digital museum! Bought tickets online to avoid waiting. Recommend to come 12 pm or earlier to spend longer time in here. The exhibitions are fantastic and some of it are truly children friendly. Although this branch is closing in August, you could always visit the other branch. 5 stars. Definitely recommended for those travelling to Odaiba.

Great experience, a visual sensory fest with interactive lights, sounds, music and digital artworks. Every exhibit, area is wide, encourages you to stay, explore and immerse yourself as it continually changes and responds to the surroundings. Highly recommended for all to visit, it is also children friendly with many activities and exhibits giving them the opportunity to thoroughly enjoy the experience. Hopefully when they move to a new location later this year, it will be an even better exhibition arena. Absolute must to buy tickets online to avoid the crowds and disappointment, it gets busy and it's easy to lose yourself for a good 2 - 3 hours enjoying the maze like environment.

An amazing experience as the exhibits flow from one room/space to the other seamlessly. I spent quite a bit of time trying to view all the exhibits as some of it spans across multiple rooms and will rotate back at some time after. My favourite exhibits are the ones that makes use of mirror reflection to give it that infinite space vibe.

Great experience, digital moving artworks are sprawling across huge LED screens of the expo, moving from room to room, blooming, withering and really breaking the boundary between the digital and real world. They react to your movement through the halls as well. The upstairs area contains a more children-focused interactive displays and a teashop which was a good experience. It's only available for a couple more weeks, and you need to secure your tickets in advance on the website. I don't recommend waiting for the eagle's nest gallery as the queue time was long and the same display can be seen in the cave exposition, which had much more effect in my opinion. The day of our visit was a public holiday and it was a bit crowded. Also finding the exit was a challenge, but there are a lot of staff members everywhere who you can ask for directions. Overall a great experience and I recommend making the time to visit if you can make it.

If you are coming into Toyko or near it, this is a a place you wouldn't want to miss. Traveling with a family of four with 2 young children ages 5-7 years old. They really enjoyed the time in this place and they would happily spend more time here if they wasn't hungry. This place is strictly no eating, so make sure if you are traveling with children they are well feed before entering. We managed threes hours here exploring the different routes to see the exhibition. Also this place in usually really busy and most times you can't purchase tickets on the day so make sure you prebook.

Time required to visit all the rooms is nearly four hours. It has various rooms with different illuminations. The interesting part is projections interacts with you. Crystle lightning is the top most attraction. Also color changing lamps room is very good. But you will get only two minutes to visit color lamp room. If you like it then you can re-enter through the line again. Flowers can bloom in your tea. Also you can color the shapes and it will appear as a projection. Online booking is a recommended. The entry ticket is 3200 yen. Try to cover all the rooms before you exit. It is different level of digital art museum. Human interaction is the key thing I liked the most.

This is definitely worth the trip to Odaiba. My wife and I loved it, and the kids loved it too! Make sure you thoroughly explore around. There is more than one upstairs area, and one is geared much more for families. The trampoline upstairs isn’t really worth the wait in line, but everything else is great. There’s a fruit ninja slide, where you cut the projected fruit as you slide over it, an augmented reality play village where the landscape and roads change depending on how you move the buildings, a giant balloon maze, several obstacle courses, and a couple scenarios where you can color an animal on a page and then scan it to send it out into the museum. My only regret is that we only scheduled a few hours to spend here. We could have easily spent most of the day!

This is a digital art museum, featuring all sorts of exhibits involving lights and computer generated imagery. I recommend going in at an early time, as this place can get pretty crowded. There is no map for you to reference, so you will have to go on your own to explore what's here, which is part of the fun. You can easily spend 2 hours trying to go through all the exhibits.

A nice digital art museum located on Odaiba Island. I visited this location before I knew about teamLab planets. My recommendation is to visit teamLab planets first. You will be satisfied with the lights, sounds, and vibrant atmosphere during your visit. You will also be visually and mentally mesmerized. I highly recommend coming to this museum but as mentioned make sure you check out planets beforehand.

Incredible exhibit in Tokyo. My friend and I spent several hours here. Not only are there so many different kinds of visual effects and scenes, but there is so much to do. Family friendly - there’s a bounce area, climbing activities, and you can color your own animals that end up becoming animations on the wall/ground that interact with other drawings.

Great, the image mapping is really impressive and interactive (you can act on the picture with your hands) This is an visual and auditive experience. Activities are really fun, even for adults. I spent around 4 hours with my childrens inside. But the waiting time to the activities can be a bit high, more than 30 min. We are always standing up so you can be tired or get pain in your legs, but there are several rest room.

Loved the each room, almost got lost in the room with transparent dancers and drums. Accidentally steped on a colourful gecko in the forest😭. It was great work Epson!

    - Recommend to buy ticket in advance. When we visited, we saw the sign notifying that the ticket for today is sold out. - Time well spent here with new experience of moving arts. They don’t provide map here so that you can explore this place by yourself and feel a bit of adventure. Excellent for all ages. - Great experience at Tea house. Recommend to try once as you could have tea while experiencing the moving arts. - Even though we bought tickets for 10:30 a.m. and came early, we need to wait at the entrance for the exact 10:30 a.m. where there’s no seat. Unless you go out to sit at cafe around the area if you consider getting here early.

Bit pricey but really lovely. Floral based rooms even had floral scent to enhance the experience. Tea experience was worth it but only if you like matcha/green tea - that's the only type of tea they offer (combined with other flavours like yuzu; hot and cold varies depending on the one you choose). They also offer ice cream for an additional cost (which is very expensive at ONE scoop for ¥1200 and they only have green tea flavour as well). The tea is ¥500. Watching the flowers grow in your tea and moving the bowl about was great. Quite mesmerizing. The entrance is ¥3200. Occasionally you can find discount coupons etc. If you ever find one knocking off around ¥1000 = go for it. Disabled price is around ¥1700 but thats mostly because an entire floor of more physical activites is inaccessible and unusable to anyone who needs walking assistance or has a wheelchair. The tea cafe area is also on this upper floor making that impossible to use as well.

Such a cool museum. I visited it in November 2019. Definitely one of the highlights of my Tokyo trip. You can spend hours in here. Some rooms are timed so you’ll have to enjoy everything quickly. If not you’ll have to line up again.

  • 5/5 Alyssa B. 4 years ago on Google
One of the highlights of our trip to Tokyo. However, it is very busy. We had bought timed tickets in advance, and still had to stand in a line for almost an hour to get in. inside there were some rooms that also had lines to get into them. I'm not sure how to avoid this. Maybe coming first thing? Arriving extra early? I would hope with timed tickets this could be avoided. But all that being said, we still felt it was worth it. When we arrived we had to lock up our bags, but was able to bring my camera in with me. The art if moving all around you, and you get to engage with it. It was incredibly. I wish I had a map or checklist - hard to know what we missed during our 4 hours there. But would definitely go back again. Highly recommend.

  • 5/5 Taya T. 4 years ago on Google
I love this place!!! We spent 4 hours there and it was not enough. I would highly recommend to go very early during the weekdays and line up at the special exhibition first, there are 2 and the line can get very long. Regardless of seeing special exhibition or not you'll not be disappointed. There's a lot of rooms so make sure to see everything. There's also upstairs open area, not to get confused with the special exhibition. The room upstairs are for both adult and kids. The lighted projected is interactive. If you touched the butterfly or stepped on the lizard it will either withered away or exploded into blossom flowers.

By that amount, I feel that when I found it, I was more impressed when I encountered something new. I loved the "light sculpture space" so much that I stayed until I saw all the patterns. When I saw this, I was satisfied with the admission fee. It's a large facility, and the images change fluidly, so the atmosphere changes when you go to the same place or work. Re-entry is not possible, but viewing time is unlimited and you can move around the area freely. Enough to see. Adults and children, family, friends, acquaintances, lovers ... I think that anyone in any situation can enjoy it. Please be careful not to lose your child. There is also a break area. You can't use a hand-washing jet towel, but I'm grateful that a paper towel is installed instead. * Normally, you can enter Palette Town using the connecting passage in Megaweb, but it will be a detour route because Megaweb is currently closed. (As of 2021/1/13) (Original) 2021年1月、朝一の予約枠で訪問。 場所によっては独占して鑑賞できるくらい、贅沢な状況でした。 Wonder,Explore and Discover

Art with light, amazing. Totally magical. Specially for them who love to take pictures with magical art work. Also for babies, there is different art room for them and amazing light art. For going there you have to buy tickets online, there is no physical ticket booth. And Because of corona, they are taking measure body temperature and maintain social distance. And near the Teamlab borderless there is more tourists spot like odaiba beach, Rainbow Bridge and surrounded by good restaurant and shopping mall. Highly recommended to visit Teamlab Boarderless.

This “digital visual arts museum” is extremely nice; the concept of projecting nice pictures from Epson projectors on dark walls and floors and be prettier than imagined... but it’s super duper crowded!! For real. Even arriving there early before opening time (we came at 9:30 AM to be among the first ones) won’t save you neither from waiting in line to get in nor from queuing up inside to get into the most popular rooms like the “floating nest” or the room with the notorious lamps. Note: - We waited about 60 to 70 hours each on average to get into those rooms :P - Bring time. We calculated to stay maybe 3 hours max. But ended up staying 5 hours due to queuing up... - Make sure to bring drinks. There are a couple of vending machine rooms in there, but the drinks are expensive... you’re only allowed to drink inside those rooms btw. No idea about food restrictions, but most definitely also only inside those vending machine rooms - For the room with the lamps: you queue up for about 60 minutes and they allow little groups of 20 to 30 people to enter; they ask you to leave the room after spending 5 minutes in there

It was beyond my expectations! We enjoyed it a lot! We were also able to find all the galleries! The only gallery we didn’t enjoy was the floating nest. The queue was so long (took about 30 mins) but the show was merely a minute. The staffs were ok. It took us about 2.5-3 hours to finish the whole thing including enjoying teas at the En Tea House. Incredible experience, well worth the price. Recommend booking tickets in advance and trying to go on a weekday or morning if possible for fewer crowds. Allow at least a couple of hours and make sure to check all the curtains inside so you don’t miss anything. There are lots of fun interactive exhibits and an art area where you can design your own sea creature then see it “swimming” in a digital aquarium which is really fun. Make sure you wear comfortable clothes if you want to participate in the physical exhibits which are loads of fun.

Went at a Saturday afternoon at 4pm and it was still pretty crowded - the heat in Tokyo must have kept many people away from outdoor! This is the second TeamLab I visited and my first taste was in Shanghai - this one beats Shanghai in it’s more interactive engagements - my favourite was the playground towards the end of it - adults and kids alike would all find engaging activities to keep body moving. The crowd takes away part of the fun but it’s still an interesting experience.
