    Their new LOA request using a ticketing system is fast and easy to use. However, their customer service hotline is pathetic and unprofessional. They will put you on hold for around 15 to 30 minutes or even longer for a simple request. I've experienced this several times already. I have no choice but to wait since I'm already at the hospital and I need their immediate feedback.

    I hope this review will help potential customers to stay away from this provider. I can't waste any more time writing all the bad experiences I had with ETIQA. Well employers who use ETIQA only shows how low value they have for their employees.

    My flight was canceled so I emailed them how they can help with the situation but one of their agents requested a cancellation and refund of my travel insurance when I never even ask them to cancel my insurance. Never buying my insurance here again.

    Worst HMO provider. Find a better option. It will take you almost a day to settle your hospital bill. Customer care is not responsive and well-coordinated. You have been warned.

    This company is a fraud. I paid a lot of money for insurance for my electronics. They did not disclose the terms in the policy. They put the burden of proof on the customer to provide evidence as to how the device became defective. It’s so hard to believe how this company can just take your money. My claim was rejected because apparently defect during use isn’t covered. So it’s my fault that it’s defective? The item is just in the bag never dropped. Barely used

    Why do you even sell this service when you can't provide the basic support? 3 out of the 4 times I used this HMO in the past 2 years, the approvals took 2 to 4 hrs. Medical facilities are actually already expecting a long approval or response time and warn me about the very long wait before I am put in queue. Is this intentional so there would be lower usage by the members? Poor business practice. This should be a negative star.

    I have been using my own money out of my own pocket instead of utilizing their poor service. What a waste! You can't rely on their app and their customer service people. GOOD LORD!

    Don't get HMO plan here.. This is the worst HMO provider.. It will take 2 days before approval. You cab't even contact them in their provide CP#. No response from my email even if it is emergency COVID patient..

    I had cancer last 2019 and had been clear and been under remission since 2021. Had this HMO for almost a year and got hospitalized last September due to pneumonia. Agent said they would provide full coverage but then called back after 5 minutes saying sickness was related to my preexisting condition. My specialists called them and told them it is not related so they said they would wait for the final diagnosis, but even though it was not cancer related, they only covered my hospitalization with a pre-existing coverage. So, we ended up paying with our own money. I was hospitalized again because I cannot breathe properly due to the liquid in my lungs and the Agent argued with the ER doctor saying it is not related to my preexisting condition. ER doctor asked the agent if she was a doctor, she did not reply. And again, we ended up declined once more making us pay with our own money. Sent an email and filed a complaint with their corporate Managers and higher-ups, only a single reply came back saying he will get back to me, but nobody cared to bother helping me out till this moment. What a waste of my time thinking this is a Health Maintenance Organization where in fact they cannot even get their acts together? Going to get rid of this pathetic company.

    I have been trying to call the listed landline and mobile numbers, but kept getting the recorded message, "Sorry, no is available to take the call. From 11 AM, to 230 PM, I have logged 6 mobile calls and 5 landline calls, all with same recording. This is a Monday, a working day, what's up with you guys? I was calling to clarify a cryptic message sent by one of your employees last Friday regarding my APE scheduled for today. I had requested a re-send of the cut-off message but got no response. In total, 3 requests were sent for the re-send of the message to no avail. Result: I had to miss my Monday APE appointment (today!) because I couldn't get the info I needed on whether the doctor's prescriptions I sent were acceptable or not. I shudder to think if this is the kind of service that greets someone with an emergency medical condition. Good luck on that! We all deserve a better, more responsive HMO.

    I didn't receive my copy of the policy I purchased for my son and there was nothing from the amendments request I asked. Lines are always busy, email and fb message replies take forever. After weeks of trying to contact them, their customer support doesn't handle queries regarding general insurances. End up buying another. Waste, worst service I ever experienced. NOTE: Read reviews before you purchase.

    Slightly better price than AXA but won't answer emails - useless... The worst thing: THEY GIVE THEMSLEVES 5 STAR RATINGS - how embarrassing.... Without their own ratings they probably have a 1 star rating.

    Please, if you value your money and time, please do not get this HMO. I have a prior HMO from then and then got another one only for them to not approve all laboratory because they claim it was "pre-existing" that needed to wait 12 months when I already have another card from them a year before. They don't answer calls and they are disrespectful & clueless at the Makati Medical Center. They are horrible human beings that do not even care to probably see the attachments sent that I already have 1 hmo from them. Incompetent company that employs 100% incompetence. Please go to another HMO with value.

    I made the mistake of purchasing travel insurance from Etiqa, instead of my usual Malayan / Standard. BIG MISTAKE. After a confirmed online payment, they will not send you your policy. Their download link does not work either. You will spend an entire day calling their office, emailing them and sending comments + messages in their socials but no one cares to respond. You only need to look at the reviews and comments- this is the same complaint over & over. Some waiting for weeks & still no apology, action or intent to rectify. Bring your business to more established and reputable insurance companies instead. Etiqa will just take your money and leave you hanging. Imagine if you have to actually file a claim?

    I tried using their portal to request LOG and it works! I got my LOG in less than 1 hour without having to call the hotline. Turnaround time can still be improved but a major improvement from previous experience.

    Worst HMO experience I had so far. I went to Asian Hospital and went to Etiqa’s office and the lady staff there was not approachable, it felt like she didn’t want to answer any queries. I’m new with Etiqa and I just don’t understand the process compared to other HMOs I had prior. So I got questions, however the lady was not helpful. Hire better people. I have used your HMO once and it’s so complicated. I would not recommend this HMO at all.

    Spent TWO (2) HOURS WAITING for HMO approval. The hospital concierge had to call Etiqa multiple times before finally receiving approval for just an Ultrasound. There were 7 other senior citizens in the queue, and 5 of them left due to the lengthy wait. I initially thought it would be advantageous for me, but unfortunately, it still took two hours to obtain approval for a single item, a single request. This has been the WORST HMO experience I have encountered. In contrast, MEDICARD processes approvals within 10-15 minutes.

    Very fast and reliable. There are some human errors from time to time when I request for an LOA/LOG by calling through MIC hotline but nevertheless, the option to request for LOA/LOG using the Smile app is very awesome!

    Too bad there’s no zero star for the lowest rating….For those planning to buy travel insurance, DO NOT WASTE your money and better look for other insurance companies out there…After online payment, the message showed the company will send an email. Guess what? NOTHING!!! I’m so relieved nothing happened while my family member that bought the travel insurance was overseas….I’m thinking how are we going to claim when there’s no acknowledgment from Etiqa….after the payment went through…terrible

    Good service and self-empowering... Maybe they need to focus more on customer education on how to utilize their service. Sanay ung mga tao na tumawag for authorization kaya cguro matagal ung sagot.. Pero if they will learn how to use the Smile App, napaka convenient, you get to request and see your approval even prior to going to your appointment. Meron din views to check claims. Maybe they can put the app in their website, facebook page, everywhere so everyone is aware. For outpatient needs, you don't need to wait sa hospital/doctor's office for the approval. You can secure it prior to going there. So far this is the best provider for me..

    Poor service, no response to emails, phonecalls. Messenger responded and forwarded the concern but then no response from them. Claim submitted Aug 12, 2022. No reimbursement, no contact, no acknowledgement. I'd suggest you use another provider that delivers a better experience to the customer. Rating of 1 is still too high

    I have paid you in full of my Car Insurance Policy. You never covered my car repair. Now, it's been 3 months, no one had the initiative to even get back to us. Do not patronize this company if you don't want to end up being fooled like me.

    Bad customer service. No after-sales assistance whether from email, hotline, FB etc. After paying for your insurance, you won’t be able to get your policy soon. You won’t even know where to report it! Felt scammed! Imagine what happens when you try to file for claims? Good luck! Never consider them!

    Worst experience ever to this insurance agency. Took 5 months just to get my claims approved. Worst customer service. Took forever to respond to emails and phone calls. Too bad we can't rate zero, it would have been more applicable.

    i was confined last oct.29-31 for blood transfusion.. my total bill was 45k and imagine i have this etiqa health card from my work but still i cashed out almost 9k, non refundable.

    Do not use ETIQA or you’ll die just trying to get an approval for your LOG. Even if you use their app, it is impossible beyond compare. When you try to call their hotline, no one will pick up. This is by far the WORST HMO provider I’ve had. I can’t wait for my company to change this good for nothing provider.

    Very poor after sales.. All company contacts regarding request for “Letter of Guarantee” are either blocked or offline. The only way to avail “Letter of Guarantee” within the day is to be physically present at their respective satellite offices
