Eating while fishing. I ordered the salt-grilled Yamame fish set (1,500 yen), which comes with kamameshi, and the soba noodles (650 yen). The fish were big and the kamameshi was delicious. The soba noodles are as good as they are, and of course there is no seaweed. There aren't many other places where you can get a proper meal on weekdays (I'm sure it's not just because of this). (If you're looking for soba, I think it's better elsewhere...) There were also stag beetles for sale in the store. The parking lot is large and easy to park. The toilet in the parking lot looks public, but it's clean inside. However, when I passed by in the evening, everything from the parking lot was chained, and that parking lot was also a shop? ?

I received the kamameshi, and it wasn't burnt in the kettle after it was cooked, and it was fluffy and not a bit like kamameshi. By the way, a passenger on a motorcycle who came after me was drinking beer, but drinking alcohol is dangerous.

A rest area that goes by very fast if you're heading by car or motorcycle toward Yamanashi on Route 411. I stopped on the way back toward Tokyo. Parking is available but guessing it would be crowded during warmer days and weekend/holidays. Toilets are clean; there are some shops for essentials but more for souvenirs. View of Lake Tama isn't anything special, but this is a nice place to rest if you need a break from riding.

I stopped by on my tour and had a lively conversation with the friendly owner of the insect sales shop, and the sign for ``Kamameshi'' caught my eye, so I had an early lunch. I ordered the ``Wild Vegetables Kamameshi Salt-grilled Yamame Set'' (1,500 yen, see photo). The kamameshi cooked in ceramics had a taste that reminded me of ekiben, and the fish was perfectly grilled, so I enjoyed river fish for the first time in a while. Also, the small bowls of country cuisine made me smile with a nostalgic feeling 😑 This set is probably a little more expensive elsewhere. So plus 1. It's a good place to take a break and hear the birds whispering, and the parking lot is spacious. I would like to stop by again.

I stopped by on a break from bike touring. The parking lot was large and easy to park. The first thing that comes to mind is Mushi Kobo. It seems that they raise and sell stag beetles and rhinoceros beetles. I had the signature wild vegetable kamameshi for ¥1,000 including tax. My expectations were betrayed in a good way. It's quite tasty and cheap. It was delicious and cheaper than Gunma Ogino and Kamameshi, so to say the least, it was great. This is ¥1000 cheaper. I thought it would cost ¥1,800. I would definitely go again!

Excellent scenic rest spot and parking area with ample wide parking spaces for you to stay as long as you like. This is a public parking area that is own by Local Government, not the shops that line the parking area in front. You are not obligated to patronage these shops and restaurants and you can park anywhere you please, even right in front of the shops. Unfortunately, the shops directly facing the parking area get offended and can be rude if you park your cars, bikes in front of their shop but do not buy anything or eat in there, pay no attention. I highly recommend eating at the restaurant across the street instead, the service is hospitable and the food is fresh and prepared only on order, entirely different to the shops facing the parking area which are pre-prepped and serve heated on order.

This restaurant has a drive-in atmosphere. Purchase tickets and place your order. Tea and water are also self-serve. The photo shows the wild vegetable kamameshi for sale. The rice was a bit soft.

Just because there's nothing going on, it doesn't mean it's a thriving store just because it's being interviewed. It's a misunderstanding on the store's part. There are many people who want to eat kamameshi after coming to the mountains, so it can continue for a long time.

(Translated by Google) Stag beetle sanctuary The owner showed us the precious oversized Sumatra Ohirata Kuwagata, and we recommend the summer insect lottery for 300 yen. Next time, I would like to participate in a nighttime light collection tour. (Original) クワガタの聖地 店主の計らいで貴重な特大サイズのスマトラオオヒラタクワガタも子供に見せて頂きました、夏場の虫くじ300円はお勧めです。 次回は夜間の灯火採集ツアーに参加したいです。

(Translated by Google) Until about 50 years ago, I heard that there were many tourists and it was prosperous. Now it has a completely deserted atmosphere and a somewhat lonely appearance, and it seems that people who stop by mainly use the restroom or take a short break. Insects are for sale, so it would be nice to visit with children. The parking lot is large and there is a toilet in one corner. Be careful of traffic when leaving. (Translated by Google) It sells stag beetles and beetles. We also hold insect hunting tours. I got a stag beetle with an insect lottery for 300 yen each time. (Original) クワガタやカブトムシを販売している。虫探しツアーも開催している。1回300円の虫くじでクワガタをゲットした。

(Translated by Google) comment deleted? I'm pretty sure it wasn't that crowded, but the service was slow and the kamameshi was lukewarm. It should have been written as 1 star (Original) コメント消された? 確か、それ程混んで無かったのに、提供が遅くて、しかも釜飯がぬるかった と書いて星1にしたはず

It was too sad to stop by as a tourist. No kamameshi that I was looking for👁️🍚Tororo set meal, Tororo soba, Miso oden. The soba noodles were delicious and the view was spectacular. No worries about airborne infection 🎵.

I went there to watch a certain TV program. I had a set of wild vegetable kamameshi and grilled fish for 1,600 yen, and my family had a set of wild vegetable kamameshi for 1,000 yen, which I thought was the tourist price. It was very delicious, but I got tired of it towards the end, so it was nice to have grilled fish and garnishes. First, pay money and buy a meal ticket. It would be better if you didn't have any change. The location is just outside the tunnel when coming from Okutama, so be careful not to overlook it. The parking lot is large and there are restrooms. There was also a Japanese-style toilet inside the store.

(Translated by Google) It is a restaurant on the shore of Lake Okutama with beautiful autumn leaves. Especially the rice cooker is exquisite! There are many other menus such as cutlet curry and udon. Perfect for a drive break, it's a calm space ~ By all means when you come to Okutama lake ^ ^ (Original)
