The bouncers are extremely arrogant and rude. My first time there, we were told to wait to be seated only to find out almost an hour later that they're no longer letting people in because its closed. Even though multiple people were leaving while we waited to be seated. The bouncers act as if they're doing you a favour by being there so I definitely won't be going there again. It seems hard enough for them to even answer a simple question about when the place is closing. We actually found out its closed by them shoving out another guy who wanted to be let in. They should've just told us they're closed so we don't wait outside in the cold for nothing. What a horrible service from them.

Eish atmosphere is good. However, we had a very bad experience. The phone of my friend was stolen by a fellow woman from her pocket. Never trust people hey. She was trying to assist one woman who pretended to be falling on her while the other was waiting for the opportunity to take her phone out of her pocket, shhuuuu. Be careful, that's all I can say if u go there.

Terrible service from the servers, they do not recommend anything and are tired. They could not accommodate our table at all and were inadequate. The food took long however there were no other people in the restaurant, it’s a mess here. Will never come back.

The manager Anton is rude and arrogant. Pathetic service l received today and l will be telling everyone i know to stay away. l cannot believe in 2023 this is still happening. l was over charged by the waiter basically we were charged double for our bill and the waiter made us tap and never gave a receipt and quickly left. When we got home I realized that we were double charged and it made sense as the waiter quickly walked away and didn't give us a bill or receipt. l emailed Cubana and after Anton responded with a very 'cold' email saying we must come and collect the refund. In my email l explained the incident and said l will be happy to provide the time frame for them to investigate further. So l went in today to see Anton and get my receipt and to get their side of the story. That's where all HELL BROKE LOOSE. I have never been treated with disrespect like Anton did today. He was very rude. So basically he agrees and apparently he saw that we were double charged and that he spoke to the waiter and the waiter said he was trying to avoid us swiping numerous times so he charged us double round and he meant to bring the other round later, so i said to him that's not what we discussed with the waiter and we were not aware that he is charging double..So l am thinking we are having a conversation then he started shouting at me. Basically saying he already apologized in the email and he is giving the refund back. So I responded to him saying it's not about getting the refund, it is about the customer experience and making sure this does not happen again to more customers. Anton was fuming even more and he told me that l was accusing his staff of theft and that he will protect them at all costs and in his 15 years of service he knows the customer is not always right. and then he has the nerve to say to me l have already apologized to you and it seems like you now want something MORE?????Disgusting, pathetic behavior and service. My point as a customer was to be heard and for them to sympathize and actually look into the incident and not to be treated like Rubbish. Firstly Anton never did any investigation as l only gave him amounts and no time lines for him to check cameras and he didnt even know my face for him to check the cameras etc. but yet he already did the investigation without full info. This goes to show that CUBANA does not take their customers seriously and Antony clearly needs to go and learn more about customer experience and he must stop profiling the customers based on gender and RACE. Clearly Anton does not care about the customer experience and treats the customers as a number. The arrogance is on another level. Anton is blatantly rude and ARROGANT AND I REPEAT HE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS AND HE LACKES COMMON EMPATHY AND ITS A SHAME THAT HE IS REPRESENTING SUCH A BIG BRANT LIKE CUBANA. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK AND WILL CERTAINLY TELL THE PEOPLE I KNOW TO STAY AWAY!

The food was great. Service was a bit slow more waiters needed especially at night when is busy and full. Enjoyed the music yoooh the DJ was on fire

Actually stumbled across this place whilst out looking for somewhere to eat. Love the fact that there is security at the door. Menus are barcoded so you scan it at your table and order from there. The place has a live DJ. Really classy and a good vibe

Hubby and I only went for a drink and the environment and vibe was really nice.We went early so th e place wasn't full but I will say if you are wanting to go and unwind after a long week,then this place is perfect for you.From what I recall their food is quite good too so it's worth a visit

Best chill spot, I just found the beer bit pricey. Sound is good. The employees there are trained well to cater for you. It's also secured. I felt safe and welcomed.

My boyfriend that is wheelchair bound wanted to park next to the restaurant to have enough space since there isn't any disabled parking. And he wouldn't block anyone. The two bouncers practically flew out and very aggressively told us to park somewhere else even though we explained his condition. Was going to go there. Not anymore.

Went for Breakfast this morning and I can say for sure that Cubana Table View never disappoints. The food is always good and the service great. This morning was no different and our waitress Jane was amazing. The Table view branch has the best service hands down. I would definitely recommend Cubana Table View :)

Wonderful vibe, great live music, friendly staff and extensive drinks menu. They also have hookah pipes and foods. Recommended if you looking for a great Sunset view with some friends and cocktails.

Music is way too loud, we have to shout to hear each other speak and the food is kinda bland. Putting the menu on a tablet is ridiculous since they only give you one, so you have to wait for the other person to finish looking through it before the next person can get it, I just pulled up the menu on my own phone rather. Generally I was happy. The waiter Joshua was excellent. He did not take long to bring our food when I went there last Saturday the 14th of May with my cousin and a friend of the family and I personally would give HIM five stars for that. UNFORTUNATELY I have a complaint. When I went to purchase a Cuban cigar the lady who helped me DID NOT know the exact brand of the cigar that I wanted to purchase nor the price and she kept me waiting by having to find out what brand and price it was and that really annoys me a lot. I feel she should know her work in order to do a better job. Also when she showed me the price list the prices were wrong because they had gone up and I honestly feel that they should have changed it before any customer saw it because I don't mean to falsly accuse anyone but I feel that this is wrong because I feel like I am being ripped off. Please rectify this problem because I am coming here again with the same people in August probably and I demand better service because I will definitely be purchasing another cigar but I don't want problems. However, they don't allow you to purchase a second sheesha coal (you need to order another sheesha), and the car guard outside will aggressively point out parking to you which you're already about to take, and then swear at you for giving him food instead of money.

The DJ was slamming the mixes Saturday night. Food and drinks were great! The female waitress was abit sour, because she missed a table. I'll avoid having a female waitress next time. Male waitresses are less dramatic and more bobbing.

Went there with my parter. There were just enough ppl for all the seating available when we arrived. We bought our drinks and stood at the bar where we were served immediately and our drinks were out in a jiffy. I wanted flavor for my Vuse so we asked the bartender to kindly keep our drinks for us while we hop out to the Engen garage next door. When we returned at a bouncer kindly offered us a table that had just become available so we no longer had to stand at the bar. The bounce pulled out a chair for me while my partner went to fetch our drinks from the bar. At just the right time a waiter came to check if we wanted to order another round, which we did and we also ordered a small instant coal hubbly for R200!!!! Shocking!!! I couldn't believe how the price had skyrocketed! And it didn't even come with shooters anymore. Even more shocking than that though is that the price of a coconut coal shisha pipe is R500!!!!! I was just like, nahhh it's cool. I'll have a small, pretty well-made, instant coal hubbly for R200 and we'll smoke our own shisha when we get back home and save R300. Anyway, the waiter was courteous, the drinks came quickly, other staff helped clear our table as needed so the service was really great! The music was alright, the ladies toilets was full of shreds of toilet paper although the cleaner was just sit right there. I think he was the cleaner anyway. If he was, maybe he has to wait for a moment when it's completely clear if guests to go in and clean it? And 2., if he was the cleaner why is he a male? And if he wasn't, why was he sitting there with his tip basket and toilet rolls and cleaning equipment? 🤔 Anyway, the Cubana experience I had tells me that they know how to give great service when the place is not packed! The hubbly price is ridiculous! Also, I hate the way last rounds is called 5 minutes before he lights are put back on and you're being asked to leave. I'm glad, I hadn't opted for a last round at the time as I would have been rather annoyed at being expected to either 1. Leave my drink barely drank, 5mins later when the bouncer started asking everyone to leave. 2. Down it and leave as requested. Or 3. Tolerate being asked to leave more than once while trying to finish my drink as quickly (or slowly) as possible. Overall, a positive experience. The kindness, attentiveness, and friendliness of the bouncer, who bid us goodnight when we left made my night! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 for him and the rest of the staff we interacted with!

Not friendly at all...bag was searched at the door water confiscated as 'we could buy water inside' they let me keep my mints but warmed us we couldnt eat them while inside, there weren't any tables , we were told we could wait at the bar we tried to order but it took ages so we left, we will definately never go to Cubana again!!!!

I might be getting old. The music was too loud for the time of day and there was no social distancing within the restaurant. Many of the waiters were not wearing their masks properly and a man, who I assume is one of the managers, was walking around without a mask on. Beyond that, the service was on point and the beer was fresh.

Before they moved to the new spot in Blouberg /Tableview I would not have recommend it. The upstairs old venue had extremely poor service. Since moving to thr new beachfront spot, my sister, mom and I had visited the new spot for Cubana and found the service was amazing, the music and vibe all round was great. The food and drinks were good overall. Definitely a good turnaround experience vs the old locale.
