I've been seeing Celia for 7 years for my brows and occasional facials. I travel from Oregon because I can't find anyone else I would trust with my beloved bushy brows. She's incredible! What she does is perfection but, also, well, she's just wonderful and makes me feel wonderful.

My daughter treated me to a brightening facial with Laurinda. I cannot wait to come back. It was the most relaxing hour I've had in a long time. I highly recommend Oakes&Alder 💜

Never have I had such an attentive, kind, and talented esthetician as Celia. Truly a one-of-a-kind experience and I left GLOWING. Not only was it one of the most relaxing experiences of my life, but the conversation was wonderful and flowing and rejuvenated my soul as well. I appreciated that Celia was very receptive to talking about skincare or letting me relax in the moment in silence listening to ambient music and relaxing lighting. The overall atmosphere was perfect. I will definitely be back soon as I can’t wait to continue her wonderful skincare regiment!

I loved visiting this place for my facial with Celia. This was my first facial ever. Celia is so welcoming and knowledgeable. She could tell my skin was stressed and very sensitive, so she gave me the most hydrating and calming facial. She recommended a calming serum to me and a couple changes to my skin care routine, and since I've been using it, my skin has improved SO much, I feel like I am seeing my skin for the first time in years :) Thank you, Celia! Would recommend this place, Celia is excellent, and the location is gorgeous with easy parking.

Celia is truly a treasure. Not only is she an absolutely delightful person, who makes you feel like a friend the minute you step foot into her studio, but she's also an incredibly thorough and knowledgable professional! She'll do whatever it takes to make sure you have a good experience, and she does her best to educate you along the way. Celia is an angel. I went to her for my first ever facial and it was an amazing experience. She was so kind even though I was embarrassingly late to the appointment. I addressed some of my concerns about my skin and (lack of) routine and she gave me suggestions that would work for me and my skin type that were doable and didn’t overwhelm me. I already have my next appointment with her scheduled. She’s amazing.

I have never had a facial before so I came to Oaks & Alder to see Celia! She talked with me about my current skin care routine, why I specifically came in and what I wanted leaving this experience. Celia did an amazing job and my skin felt like that of a baby when I left. She recommended some redness relief creams for my rosacea and they have already made my skin feel softer and less inflamed after a few weeks of use! Jen is a deeply skilled massage therapist and helped my loosen up muscle programming I've had since age 2. She geeks about learning body stuff and that's the kind of passion and skill I love to receive on a table. She's also one of my fave business owners in Tacoma. I love supporting her and feeling supported by her.
