One of my favorite spots in Tacoma. Such a beautiful space and delicious pizza on top of a unique rotating selection of beers.

This place has the best ambiance of any bar in Tacoma, somehow balancing a clean minimalist aesthetic with a warm cozy feeling. The friendly staff are knowledgeable about their rotating selection of beers and ciders. The pizza is pretty great too. I have used it both as a study spot to crank out work and a place for dates and catching up with friends.

Very underwhelming. I went in @730pm on a Sunday. Asked to order a Margarita pizza with pepperoni to go. They let me know they ran out of regular dough but had gluten free. Not an issue for me but odd. I was not told they would up charge me for the gluten free dough. Which they shouldn’t have. My one pizza totaled $18.73 before tip. This made sense now why the couple in front of me didn’t order pizza. So I’m assuming dough is frozen. What restaurant isn’t able to make more dough? It's flour, salt, yeast and water. The pizza came out quick but with hardly anything on it. It was about 9 inches in size which is perfect for one person. But barely covered with sauce, mozzarella or pepperoni. I moved everything to one side to fully cover the dough. Only ate that half. See the photo included. I am bummed with this experience. I was so eager to finally find a great place in Tacoma for pizza. More toppings to fully cover the pizza and not paying for the restaurants lack of ingredients to make dough would have gone a long way.

Ah! This used to be our local spot. Such an amazing place to relax, get work done or catch up with friends. The owners and staff are the kindest people you’ll ever meet. 15/10!!

A laid back, neighborhood beer place with about 20 taps that include a few cider options; wine is available as well. Delicious pizza options - we tried the Burrata Pizza which also had ham and was accented with lemon zest. They also have a handful of appetizers. Bright space, casual, nice staff.

Delicious pizza! I split the pesto with a friend and it was very good. The atmosphere was really nice. I was a little surprised by the metal music playing though. 🤣 But the people vibes were good. The bench I sat on wasn't very comfortable. There aren't a ton of comfy seating options. We ordered at the bar and then they brought the pizza to our table. They do Bingo here too and that was a lot of fun! They turned the metal music off for that so we could hear the Bingo caller better. Overall, a really great experience.

This is a favorite pizza/beer spot of ours. They have a few unique pizzas that just work really well. 2 of our favorites are the potato pizza and the pickled grape. If it sounds odd to you, I highly suggest trying out the pickled grape pizza. The pickled grapes add a little bit of acidity and sweetness. The beer selection here is always great. Like most places, the beer leans towards the West coast taste bud - heavy on hops. However, they seems to always have a few beers on tap to help our hops disadvantaged friends - ambers, stouts, etc. They just recently added some more outdoor seating which has been really great. I don't want to forget a callout for the staff - they are awesome. Always helpful and friendly! I highly recommend if you want a relaxing environment, great pizza, great beer, wonderful music, and good service.

I really love this place. Very easy going down to earth. Good selection of beer. Great pizzas.

This is a decent place with good food. Only obnoxious detail is that they're too hip for paper menus. It's aggravating to come, and have to spend the first several minutes mucking about with your phone. (And god help you if you only have a flip phone.)

State Street is a great addition to 6th Ave. It offers a nicely curated selection of West coast beers on tap and plenty of additional bottle/can options for diverse tastes. I really enjoyed the pizzas, 12” thin crust with a great array of toping options. The atmosphere is welcoming and mellow; perfect for small groups or solos at the bar!

Super chill neighborhood hang. Stopped by for the first time and I really enjoyed it. It’s not a big place (it shares the front of a building with a coffee place) but it was not crowded at 6 pm on a Friday. It is simply but attractively put together and gives off a friendly neighborhood vibe. Wait staff was great and had a good variety of small-batch craft brews and ciders. I had a Scarlett Ale that was well-balanced and delicious and a Margherita Pizza whose sauce was a bit watery but tasty. I will definitely be going back.

Beautiful little hidden gem in Tacoma. Parking can be a little hard, and the door easy to miss. Once you get in though, it's a gorgeous little, clean, chic, modern bar and bistro. We tried the Margherita pizza and the Spicy Vegan. Both are on point. Great chew and texture to the crust, and fresh, quality ingredients.

Small place with limited seating. Parking was okay as we went about 4 hours before closing. Pizzas were great with our beer.

Great experience. Excellent cocktail selection. Well procured spirits. Lots of talent behind the stick. Nicolas is a star in the making.

I like it here but the prices have gone way up and it’s just so overpriced for what it is. My glass of wine was 14 dollars (and that is with the dollar off for happy hour!) and there was barely any wine poured. I’ll save my money for fancy cocktails if I’m going to spend that much!

Amazing people here making amazing food. Their rotation changes frequently, so you always get to try something good and new. Their pizza is incredible, definitely not something you'd expect from a drink focused spot. Highly recommend!

Great location and atmosphere. But I personally didn’t like the pizza. Frozen pizza dough and premade cocktails doesn’t impress me. Sorry State Street

Best atmosphere of any of Tacoma’s breweries AND best pizza. The Spicy Vegan is AMAZING. Only con is that the cider selection is consistently…. weird. Beer’s good though :P

Quaint little spot with great pizzas, wine and ciders. The gluten free crust is very tasty! The pickled grape is a favorite. Nice spot for after work/early evening. There is a little bit of outdoor seating as an added bonus.

This place crushes it with an epic selection of good local beer. The pizzas are incredible and they make their own dough.

I wasn't sure what to think of this place when I passed by it to go to a coffee shop. I was so curious I had to check it out, it's a cute little neighborhood beer & wine bar, pushed back near 6th ave. I ordered charcuterie & a pizza. They have a great selection of beer. There pizza was amazing! There charcuterie board was simple yet very diverse! Definitely a cute little wooded, friendly place. Definitely will be going here in the future. The pizza was phenomenal

Not a bad beer on the menu, intiment environment, impeccable style, and great pizza! Not much more you could ask for from a neighborhood tavern.

Great pizza. Loved the Coach pizza. Best crust I’ve ever had and actually I usually throw some of the crust out but with the coach pizza, I ate the whole piece. Cider was tasty.

I love State Street, the staff are really knowledgeable and food good. Would recommend sticking to beer or wine and definitely the potato pizza.
