I love finding places that are dog friendly. Great beer and friendly welcoming atmosphere. Our pup was even offered a water bowl and doggy treats. Looking forward to going back again.

We love this little brewery in downtown Tacoma! Dog friendly inside and outside. Nice selection of brews, love their IPAs. Can bring food in or they have a menu from the place next door it can get delivered over. Karaoke on Tuesdays!

I had been wanting to visit Odd Otter for quite a while and finally got my chance in November. Odd Otter was the only show in town offering a dollar pint to vets on Veterans Day. I couldn't resist! I was impressed with the great beer quality and the cozy taproom vibe. I tried the Cold IPA (12-Mile Ruck) and was NOT disappointed. It was crystal clear, had a nice hop bite, citrusy aroma, and enough malt to balance everything out. As I enjoy doing at breweries, since I am a beer nerd, I sat closest to the equipment so I could gawk at "how the sausage is made". It's a small brewhouse, but they sure make plenty of great beer. I was thrilled to see some barrels in-house that were probably aging something great. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable about the brews made at Odd Otter. The service was top notch. While I don't get out much, I will ensure to seek out Odd Otter beer as I do my shopping around town. I have noticed it is available at Tacoma Boys locations and Total Wine. Finally, I love how their website promotes home brewing and offered homebrew kits! More breweries should do this to support the local homebrew community. Us little guys feel special when we're noticed! Thanks again, Odd Otter, and I'm looking forward to sampling more of your products. John

I instantly fell in love with this place and then karaoke started. Pablo is so great and the beertender was instantly so sweet but unfortunately I didn’t get her name. I will come here every time I’m in Tacoma, which is surprisingly often

Really friendly staff and they allow dogs inside! What's not to love? I thought it was cool shortly after arriving and placing our order, the person working the front brought over some treats and offered us a water bowl for our four-legged family member.

Me and a group of friends went downtown Tacoma last night for a bar crawl. It was a big event with over a thousand people. It started at one bar and we made our way to odd otter. Two friends asked for a recommendation on a beer that was similar to Blue moon, but not watermelon. The person behind the bar took one look at the two of them and said she doesn't feel safe and ask them to leave. These two people happen to be African american Are whole group left at that moment. I'm not trying to make insinuations about the staff, just sharing my experience. If this was an isolated incident then fine. But I think management needs to have a talk with their staff. Especially about how to engage their customers on a busy Saturday night. We were doing nothing wrong, all they wanted was a recommendation for a beer, and it seems were asked to leave based on the color of their skin..

Another great experience at the Odd Otter! They consistently have awesome beers on tap and a welcoming atmosphere. We had the Schmooze Pineapple Puff...so good as well as the Watermelon (forgetting it's name) but also very good! Highly recommend stopping in for a glass or two!

Don't mind all the negative Nancy's , this place got it going on. Landed here unexpectedly on a karaoke night and am stoked I did. Andy is a great host. Thanks! Not a large crowd on a Thursday but was definitely a fun night. Beers are outstanding, had a whole bunch of em. You can bring whatever outside food you want, many places are just next door. Dog friendly (a must for us)

Only saving grace for this spot is the restaurant next door. No remarkable beers and certainly nothing I would recommend. Many other places had other breweries to suggest and I wish we'd followed their guidance. Staff was uninterested and engaged very little. Cool decor but sadly a huge miss.

One of the first places I found when I came to Washington years ago. Still an all time favorite. Great laid back atmosphere. Crowd is always great and daily events are always fun.

Great place! Their selection is somewhat small, but they have a great atmosphere and really friendly service. They have a link to order food at nearby restaurants for pick-up and some are able to deliver. My friends and I went for their Wednesday trivia night and had a lot of fun. I definitely recommend checking this place out!

Their brews are nothing to tell a friend about. The staff are kind of on a power high it seems like. The saving grace is the atmosphere and the location. That’s what this place has.

Cute little brewery! Great brews and they serve Wooden City pizzas so, it’s a no brainer if you just want a beer and pie. Trivia on Wednesdays gets packed so, get there early or avoid if you ain’t into trivia. Solid spot though!

Owner is a great host. Friendly atmosphere , kid friendly until 9pm. Live music nights are a big plus.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, but bland drinks. Got a flight of their non-IPA offerings and 5 of 6 that I tried were flat and light in flavor. The Dark Helmet was good, but Otter Paw Seltzer was particularly unflavorful and the Apricot Cider was borderline rancid.

They have a very cool vibe, PERFECT French fries, and a nice selection of beverages. The apricot cider was delish! Fun and funky otter art on the walls is the perfect accompaniment to it all. Oh! Check their calendar for kareoke, yoga, and other fun theme nights/days. Dog friendly, too!

We had an hour wait for Wooden City so we decided to try the brewery while waiting. Very nice selection. Partial to IPAs which they had 4 to choose from. We also tried their new hard seltzer. Was very refreshing and balanced. perfect in the hot summer evening. I believe their food menu draws from Wooden City, so if you want a beer in lieu of mixed drinks might be the ti cket. Not sure on the food. But will check it out next time.

Super cute, comfy environment. Love that it was curated by so many people passionately working together. Don’t quite appreciate the small selection on tap but I’m not a big beer drinker so I’ll blame myself for the lack of appreciation there 🤷🏻‍♀️

Great selection of beers....ciders too. They do flights too! Sodas and all the water you can drink!!! You can also order food. Burgers that are on point or yummy pizzas...veggie and just cheese are my faves cause the basil leaves are epic and legit. Kid friendly open mic Sundays. Comedy in a cool space. Karaoke, Trivia and Saturday Yoga are also things to try there. There's something for everyone here! Well ventilated, outdoor seating, masks enforced. 2 bathrooms....def a fan of this place.i need to buy a shirt.

So much freaking fun. Andy is always awesome and Stephanie runs a great open mic session. Come out and check it out. The food is good, the brew is good and the company you'll find there is amazing.

I have been wanting to check out this brewery for a while and it did not disappoint. We were able to bring in our own food, enjoyed some beer and there was live music. It was so wonderful. We will definitely be back again.
