We come here regularly since it’s in our neighborhood and excellent. BUT tonight they outdid themselves! Wine buyer/ manager(?) Trevor chose a beautiful bottle of wine and had it waiting for us. The service is always perfectly professional and so helpful. But the FOOD! Tonight we had the scallop app (so perfectly executed and such a balanced plate). I had the halibut which we lovely, my partner’s pork chop was divine. Lovely room, and very professional pandemic practices all along. You want to have dinner here.

This place was recommended by another restaurant staff at place we dine at quite a bit. Pretty good place to start for a recommendation. There’s only street side parking and that can be a little tough but it’s worth it. The service was great, friendly. The place is not small but close and cozy. The food varies with availability but it’s hard to imagine that they don’t make the best of what’s available on a weekly basis. We had the Mac and cheese gnocchi— fantastic! We also had a fresh beet and squash salad— great. Main courses of an earthy broth sturgeon dish and a parsnip dish with risotto. I know, parsnips, but it was really good. Good wine selection too.

We got the duck and the ribeye and both were spectacular and perfectly cooked. The homemade sodas were delicious and I am already craving more. Their menu changes all the time as they are truly farm to table. We will be back to try new menus!

Went for a 7-course French menu experience and wine pairing. Both were excellent and we look forward to returning. Fresh made in house elements with locally foraged touches.

Delightful little place that makes you feel very welcome just upon walking in. We ordered the scallops and were not disappointed! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Then the grilled duck came after which was also cooked to perfection, and when asked for a wine recommendation our waiter was quick to give 2 recommendations to match. Then we finished the night with the apple cake! I wouldn't change a thing to that dessert, the caramel, crumble, ice cream, and cake were all so well matched and a great portion for a couple having their 10th anniversary. We didn't tell anyone there what we were celebrating. (I think) All in all, highly recommend! Everyone was so warm and welcoming, and you could see the chef putting everything together. Absolutely amazing.

Oh. My. LANTA! ❤️❤️❤️ this place was absolutely phenomenal. I came for the first yesterday for a friends birthday and I’m already planning my next date. The menu is small but so delicious. You can definitely get pricey with a just under $50 steak but I was able to get about 8oz of elk and gnocchi Mac n cheese for $35. Legit. Tastiest ever. My boyfriend got the duck and it was my first time trying duck and it was INSANELY DELICIOUS. Not greasy, like perfectly rare, not chewy meat. (It’s what I’ll be ordering next time) 10/10 recommend every single time. This is a spot I’d def take visitors.

The Table is a delightful, classy spot for a ladies night out. Excited to learn about a rotating menu, so this dinner featured a tasty elk dish, Mac n cheese gnocchi (to die for - if it's on the menu and you love cheese EAT THIS!), and pork, with beignets as dessert. There is a variety of wines and house-brewed sodas, too!🦌🐖 🍩 🧀 Everything has phenomenal texture and flavor - and the menu is full of a bunch of new and unique flavor experiences. The prep station is also out on the floor, so you get to watch the master chef put his artistry to work by plating the food. He is focused and precise, especially with the big knives and blow torches. I was excited to try duck, but they were sold out for the night... But it's a delightful excuse to come back! This is definitely somewhere worth revisiting. The staff are also fantastic, extremely friendly, and make great recommendations. We learned that it was our waiter's first night, but he was incredibly enthusiastic, professional, attentive, and knowledgeable about everything on the menu - he could've fooled us! (I think his name was Bow? But I could be totally wrong 💜)

Rating is for the staff - I showed up at 6pm on a Friday night without a reservation, and both staff members who chatted with me were both apologetic and very kind. They let me know how to reserve a table for the next time I was in town and redirected me to their favorite spots on Sixth, which is just amazing customer service - they took care of me and saw to it that I enjoyed our interaction. Super pleased and looking forward to returning one day to eat!!

This was a perfect date night! The vibe of the restaurant and that the staff put off was amazing, the people working behind the bar were entertaining and helped us figure out which wine to pair with our duck. I am a huge master chef fan and have always wanted to try Gnocchi, so of course we had to get the gnocchi Mac n Cheese which was AMAZING. We also tried the braised Elk which was spectacular. The duck was seriously breathtaking as well. The food is high end, but the atmosphere is casual. We got a little more dressed up and didn’t feel out of place at all. Probably my favorite restaurant in Tacoma.

The produce was fresh and the food was cooked to perfection! It was amazing!! I loved every bit of the meal! I think their duck was the best dish there imho. And their tomatillo marmalade was phenomenal! But to each his own. You won't know till you try! 😁

This was my first time at the Table and I am impressed! They change up their menu 50-60 times a year based on what they can get fresh from the farm - so you’re in for a treat every time. Pictured: Gnocchi Mac n cheese - so pillowy soft and cheesy Farm salad Hanger steak with roasted veggies - as I type this I went back to their menu for more details and they now have new options. it’s THAT fresh. Can’t believe it took me this long to try it, but I’ll be back soon. Follow @mk.eats.the.street for more local Tacoma spots!

Food was all top-notch excellent. Beer and wine only, unfortunately. Chairs were rather uncomfortable no padding. Room was large and there was no way to get a quiet booth. Aside from these things, the quality of the meal would make me return to try more. Yum!

One of the finer restaurants in Tacoma. The wine selection is extensive which ranges from Old to new world reds to a unique selection of dessert wines. The servers are knowledgeable about the drink selections and the food. At the end of our dinner we wanted to order a dessert wine but did not know where to start. The server immediately brought over 5 bottles for us to taste and gave us explanation of each one. Service is more than just bringing a customer food and cleaning up after them. It includes being knowledgeable about the products that the restaurant carries. Highly recommend this location for wine enthusiasts, finer dining enthusiasts and those looking for excellent service.

A little too pretentious for what you get. Everything was good but $32 good is questionable. Elk, over sauced and it’s such a good meat it’s a shame. Gnocchi was gooey in texture, small wine list $50 for everything or more and cheesecake was stale. Didn’t like the $10 service fee to book a table either, I’m sure there are other services, open table maybe? Enjoyed seeing the food prepped and chef was great, service was nice but impatient. Sometimes you just want to relax and enjoy and not be rushed, sorry the appetizers filled us and our wallet up.

I’ve eaten here three times; once with friends, and two anniversaries. The food is AMAZING. The owner is the chef, and he makes time to come check on you. The staff is A+ every time, all the time. The atmosphere is just phenomenal. I have no clue how they aren’t a 5.0 stars across the board, unless someone just had horrible taste. I cannot think of one downside to The Table. Just exquisite.

This is one of my favorite places in Tacoma for a nice meal. The gnocchi mac and cheese is what dreams are made of. The staff are incredibly helpful and always have great recommendations. We tried the braised elk, brussel sprouts, and salad as well and all was fabulous.

Seriously some of the best local food with new favorites every time! I love their rotating seasonal menu, we got to enjoy freshly foraged chanterelle toast and an amazing halibut bouillabaisse last night. My advice: run to try their autumn menu before the seasons change! Never disappointed here.

We were pretty disappointed in our food here. Unique flavors, but not always great. The delicata squash was delicious, but the elk was just okay. The grass fed beef was 25% gristle. And the porcini cream sauce on the desserts was overwhelming and not complimentary to the sweet tastes.
