Wow. My expectations weren’t super high but wow. Best BLT sandwich I’ve had in a while. I like complex textures and flavors and this had it all. The bacon is coated with a chili sauce that was a pleasant surprise. Mayo might have been a little overwhelming but it tasted great. Definitely coming back here soon. I got a full BLT sandwich with a bag of chips. Half wouldn’t have been enough. I preordered on their square site which was super convenient and my order was ready on time.

Great ‘lil eatery. All of the employees are so friendly and helpful, and the quality of the sandwiches, salads and cookies have been consistently delicious. Discovered they have pizza on Fridays! My coworker and I were pumped for pizza day, brought me back to my grade school years.

Awesome reasonably priced sandwiches with high quality ingredients... What more could a gal ask for? Wish y'all were open later, but the sandwiches are so good I understand why you're not!

It's truly sad that I am unable to rate Outpost 6/5 stars, because thats what it deserves. This tiny, tucked away sandwich shop serves some of the best deli sandwiches I have ever had, with a great selection of chips and drinks, and surprisingly phenomenal cookies (if you don't get the salted caramel cookie you're missing out). The staff was super nice and I don't think I will come into the city without stopping by before I leave.

Outpost may have a rather limited menu, but their sandwiches are made with very high quality ingredients and with attention paid to the art of sammie creation! Service can be a little slow (but always very friendly), but these good things are well worth the wait. The most difficult part is picking which sandwich you want, because they all sound amazing. I personally am a HUGE fan of the chicken melt. Also, many patrons will be excited to learn they have Mexican coke!!

My husband and I stopped by for lunch and grabbed a club and the chicken melt. Both were really good. We did add veggies to both since there weren't many that come on them. The chicken melt was kinda smokey with a bbq sort of flavor which normally isn't my style but it was really tasty. The club was simple and I loved the aioli. The sourdough was awesome. Definitely a great lunch spot especially for those working nearby. We'll be back.

They definitely have the best sandwiches if your near or in Pacific ave. You can go to four different places within 100 Yards for a sandwich and you’ll get better quality meats, better bread, fresher veggies and complex flavor that explodes in your mouth for something like a simple BLT. Best part, the BLTs are cheaper and MUCH MUCH MUCH better all around! I would say, this is the best BLT I’ve ever had!! It’s that good ….. and the customer service is an A+

I got the wedgie salad and it was a major disappointment. There was a small portion of chicken, 1/4 of a hard boiled egg, and a small sprinkle of bacon. Extremely overpriced for a large bag of mixed greens that I could have purchased for $2.99 at Trader Joe’s.

Extremely tasty great meal for a lunchtime, affordable as well. I ordered ahead and it took about 20 minutes. Everything tasted fresh and high quality :)

Hidden gem. I tried the Chicken Melt and it was incredible! The flavors, textures, and ratios were perfect. Owners are very pleasant and know how to make a killer sandwich.

Hidden gem. Tasty sammies on a rotating menu, with a few staples. Open kitchen means you can see all the action, and care that goes in between the slices of bread. Though not slow, your sandwich can take a little to be made, as there was only one person making food, the other was working the register. This place does get busy, so arrive early. Humble and amazing, this place is legit. The Club sandwich was 🌟

10/10 literally my favorite place to eat. They’ve been consistent since I’ve been going here 2 years ago, I’m now pregnant and their food never misses, and I’m picky about my food. Everything is fresh and they always have food prepped when you order for pick up and they are always very kind, and friendly. Also, after having covid, their sandwiches are one of the only places I can continue to eat their food even with my senses being different and more sensitive with smell. They are amazing! Everything is well seasoned. One of the best spots to eat lunch during a crazy work day, or just a great day date with a friend. Thank you for being such a good representation of our community and what we’re about in Tacoma, y’all rock!

Entrance from outside is on 12th - hidden gem for sure! Great sandwiches - BLT and Chicken Club were fantastic. Treated myself to a chocolate chip cookie and that didn’t disappoint either!

Was back here again for a business trip and it's still selling the best sandwiches in Tacoma. The chicken bacon melt is amazing. The cookies are delicious too.

Sat outside which was lovely but the ambiance inside while waiting was nice too: relaxed, open, and friendly. Chicken melt was nicely balanced, somehow subtle yet punchy, but the BREAD was the standout. Hello, new fave lunch spot

A great lunch spot serving absolutely huge sandwiches. I got the stacked veggie and added chicken, so tasty. Great portion for the price.

Fantastic high quality sandwiches. The herb lemon mayo on the club is exceptional. We stop here every time we pass by Tacoma. Staff is friendly and helpful. Music at the tables can be loud at times, but not enough to impact the experience.

“Takes a lot to make sandwiches from scratch.” Vito (owner & main cook) There are a handful of tiny gems in Tacoma for sandwiches, and this is definitely one of them. The traffic that goes through from 12-2 from the local businesses says it all, a main stop for sure in downtown. P.S. Tacoma loves it sandwiches ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nice sandwich spots in Tacoma downtown. I had the chicken melt sandwich, it was flavorful but a little dry and uninteresting, maybe a little bit sauce on the light, fresh side can help adding more flavor layers. There are just a few tables inside but it looks like most folks come and get grab-and-go sandwiches.

Stopped in just before closing and was met with big smiles and hellos! In Aus you’d get the wild side eye for daring to order so close to closing!! The Chicken Melt I ordered was delicious, so tasty and a generous size loaded with chicken and bacon! Highly recommended!

Their sandwiches are absolutely amazing! I'm stuck on their club sandwich; their spread has a hint of lemon in it, which I was hesitant to try at first, but ended up being my favorite now. And their fresh baked cookies are a necessity. They do get very busy, so I'd recommend ordering ahead of time or plan on waiting a bit to order during the lunch rush. But for how busy they were, and only 2 people working, the customer service was still great!
