Entering Cosmonaut Coffee Co is like being welcomed into the owner’s rad clubhouse! It screams personality from the hella dope sneakers for sale to the collection of vintage tin robots and rockets to the plastered stickers and flyers aka menus on every surface. I stopped in for coffee but wanted to buy one of every branded piece of merch! My Golden Milk latte was super tasty and I loved chatting with the owner and learning about his super intentional approach to coffee.

One of the best tasting coffee in Tacoma! So good with homemade syrups! Great spot to grab a coffee and take a walk in Wright Park :)

Got a tasty mocha here after leaving my campsite, and the donuts were super tempting. They prefer cash so I'd bring more to pay that way next time. Also dogs are allowed inside. Definitely coming back

Went there to support a local spot. They recently had their window broken. The person there still helped make me an awesome cup of coffee. They noticed I walked over from the hospital where my son was having surgery. Super friendly and spreading positive vibes with the stellar coffee. Thanks again for the kindness. Cosmonaut makes the absolute best honey latte in the latte game. Pat is very friendly, and an expert at his craft. We love the vibe and quick effecient service. Parking can be difficult but it's worth the trouble.

Neat little coffee shop in Tacoma, great coffee as well. You can buy a wide variety of whole beans too - they carry Rwandan coffee which, if you have never had it, is some of the best coffee on the planet.

I happened to stumble apon this place after I left Wrights park. Great place. Really cool vibe. I had the Americano. It was done just right. This place has a nice outdoor paio. Thanks for a great experience Pat. I'll definitely be back.

Slightly rude/not responsive staff member while visiting. Questioned about my drink choice, I made a compliment about the shop’s location and was given a forced “yeah…..” reply, left a 15% tip, said thank you when receiving my ordered drinks but was not given a response or even acknowledged. Giving 3 stars for hot chocolate.

Cosmonaut Coffee is the quintessential Tacoma coffee destination. Cat & Cloud beans, syrups crafted from artisan hands, pastries that'll make your mouth water! Great atmosphere, and even better company. You'll be hard pressed to find a better shot pull. Stop in, it's worth the wait...you won't be disappointed!

I'm just happy they are still here. I've been a visitor throughout the years and all the permutations of this coffee shop oddity … and must say it's a pleasure to stop in for a cup, it's as good as it ever was. As a bonus, it's Wright across the street from a big, beautiful park!

Try the hemp milk latte, so delicious! This hide out coffee spot with folx so cool they don’t even care if they’re cool is my regular stop. Can’t get enough of this place.

Great little spot. Very punky and cool. Cash is preferred. The lattes are not too sweet either. Get the gingerbread latte while you can!

Very pleasant "hip" Cafe. Really enjoy popping in after a long night to grab a cup of coffee and maybe a pastry to enjoy while watching the ducks at the park.

The barista was very kind. I ordered The Samoa Donut & Chia. Both items were pretty tasty, the prices are a little steep but good luck finding ones that aren’t. Overall I’d recommend giving it a shot!

All I said was "I would just really like a hot mocha extra sweet" and my man gave me the most velvety coffee that was sweet and chocolatey in the best way (idk some places sweeten their drinks with something that has a weird aftertaste) and it was the perfect temp too, immediately drinkable. This might be my new favorite place to get a mocha around here. Good experiences here in the past too. I think last time I was here I told the barista I needed to stay awake and I liked chocolate and I got something that was really good and definitely kept me going for the day. I love a place where you can just tell them what you like and/or need and they just Know what to give you. Anyway this was today, around 1:30p, so whoever that guy was is excellent I am so sorry I've forgotten his name. :(

Wonderful little spot with good coffee. And it's actually good hipster coffee without the general snobbery all the bougie hipster cafes have these days. Plus the view of Wright Park across the street is lovely.

Great location on populat corner of Wright park. Unique and very Tacoma. What do I mean by that? Stickers, tattoos, vintage toys, and the hip vibe. Was served with a smile and the coffee was good. Not looking for much more than that.

Great vibe, great people, and amazing coffee! Indoor and outdoor seating, plus dogs are welcome.

The coffee is delicious, a bit pricey but definitely a staple! There’s no inside seating but the outdoor seating is covered!
