👍👍 Trail was muddy in places. There are benches, directional signs, and a map at the trailhead. Great trail to get down to the water. Saw birds, rabbits, and deer. People often mention walk, hike, trail,

This is the place that will transport you to another world with just a few steps. Don't be surprised to see the family of deer that call this place home while on your walk. Listen to the salmon creek guiding you down to the waters edge of the Puget Sound. The little wild garden at the lower end of the park is a bonus treat.

An excellent path/staircase route brings you down from the playground into a beautiful forest right in the heart of the city. Short hike but a great escape!

Great hike for adults and kids alike. Coming back up got a trickle of sweat out of me but it wasn't too hard for the 7year old. This trail will take you out to Ruston waterfront. Beautiful views but easily done.

It is beautiful and peaceful. My wife and I saw a buck, which was nice. However, there is one drawback; it can smell like sewage due to the sewage pipes running through the creek (surprise!).

This is a really beautiful trail. It's short and scenic. Great for families and there's a playground right at the entrance. We loved exploring here and hope to visit again soon.

Great spot to take your leashes dog out for a hike/ walk. The elevation change between the parking lot/ playground is real, but the rest of the trail (toward Commencement Bay) is pretty level. A little muddy but passable. Feels like you’re in the woods right in town. Parking is limited.

Pretty area. Cool view of bridge. Trail is a lil stinky in areas though. Great for a run or stroll. Good stairs for added difficulty.

One of the most scenic ways to get from Proctor to the Ruston Way waterfront. Some spots get (and stay) pretty muddy, and the area under the bridge can be a little sketchy, but mostly, it's just a beautiful path that connects to the waterfront. It's also a fantastic way to add a little elevation gain to your waterfront walk or run.

Short walk or longer if you walk towards the waterfront. A lot if step heading down.

Sucha pretty trail, short but definitely worth the visit. You hike down this trail into all these greenery, I forgot I was in the middle of the city. As I said, it was a short hike, it lead out to Renton waterways...with a short walk, I was by the water. You can walk up and down by the water if you choose to. The trek back up the parking area could work up a lil sweat but it's so doable.

We only visited the playground, but it is a nice playground with a slide and swings. There is a small parking lot.

I’m a big fan of this natural area. There is sometimes garbage at the bottom of the filth though, which is why I have deducted a star. Also, if I was a woman I wouldn’t go down here alone at night. It could potentially not be very safe.
