    The gals down in the accessories are always a pleasure. However, I went upstairs to their lingerie section to buy a bra, and the interactions were just awful. I watched these same people interact with other customers pleasantly. Clearly I don't fit the bill of the normal customer there on a weekday afternoon, but I don't appreciate being treated differently because of some prejudices about my appearance. There's more to someone's character than wearing makeup and a fancy blazer.

    Your Indochino staff is great, but the fact you got a cop posted up in your store is gross. I bet you're super happy taxpayers are helping you with your loss prevention. Guess that 14 billion you made in 2021 during a pandemic wasn't enough for you.

    Don’t know what happened to the shoe department management but I passed by Katie the shoe manager multiple times in a span of months without being greeted a single time and everytime I see her with a customer Katie only brings out one shoe to a customer. Where is the selection? I would have been chewed out by my manager if I worked there. Hate to see it go down after so many good years. It’s a good thing the vets are pulling all the weight. Love the store tho!

    I always have a great time here whenever I come in. All staff are always friendly and ready to serve their customers. But I just wanted to give a moment of appreciation to MICHELE, who truly went above and beyond in assisting me. I purchased a burgundy UGG throw blanket for a colleague, but it was the last in stock, and it was a mess. Not really presentable to give as a gift. Michele had searched the inventory and stated there were 7 in-stock. Michele even took the time to come downstairs to see if there was any laying around in the store. Unfortunately, there were none. Michele decided to redo the knot and folded it nicely. It was a masterpiece! Michele definitely needs a promotion!

    I really like Nordstrom in general, but I’m not thrilled on the customer Service. I came a few weeks ago, went by the luxury line makeup section and asked abt a certain brand: Pat McGrath, the sales associate had no clue who that was. She started talking about is that a color and some weird terms. It was way over her head. Proceeded to go up to the Voluspa Candle section, an associate that helped me offered to put the candles on the counter that I was purchasing, maybe to help me handle them without dropping them. No problem there. I came back just the other day and proceeded to the Voluspa’s section again to purchase an additional 3 candles-large jar ones. The associate literally was following me around. Was right on my backside and was so close to me that it was really uncomfortable. Never made any conversation of how I was doing or if I needed any help. But kept side eyeing me like I was going to make a mad dash down the escalator and out the front door which Pierce County Sheriffs was already parked and posted. My shopping experience has always been nice in the past. I choose not to go looking fancy in order to get the best customer service based upon someone authentic wanting to help, and not based upon how much money I have by my outward expression. I’m going to have to rethink my visits now

    To start out, this review is about the Pierce County sheriff and the one single Nordstrom employee who stood there laughing about the situation with him after it happened. Normally, under any other circumstance, this would be a five star review. We have always had a great experience here other than this one situation. My husband is physically disabled, and we were approaching the exit as the sheriff was about to close the gate. We made eye contact as I kindly asked him to please let us out before closing the gate because my husband is disabled instead of making us walk even farther around the building and outside in the rain back to our vehicle. He immediately told us to use the other door, even though we were less than 10 feet from him. That’s when my husband spoke up and said, “What about for physically disabled people who are already obviously having a hard time walking?” The sheriff then turned his back to us, hit the button to close the gate and completely ignored us. Employees witnessed this and didn’t say a single word to stop this from happening. After the gate closed, I sarcastically said, “Thank you so much for helping a disabled person, sheriff” to him. He turned around immediately and said, “You’re so welcome!” in an equally, if not more, sarcastic tone. All that statement did was prove that he knew exactly what he was doing. Immediately after this, he stood there with a smug look talking to an employee of Nordstrom and laughing about the situation. I find this whole situation absolutely disgraceful, especially considering it’s coming from a sheriff, who is supposed to protect the people. I have half a mind to contact a lawyer about an ADA violation. This is completely unacceptable behavior, and I cannot fathom ever doing this to another human being, let alone an obviously disabled person who is within arms reach of me. It’s very humorous that he had plenty of time to laugh with the employee about the situation after the fact, but didn’t have the five seconds it would’ve taken to let us out the gate without any issues or problems. Thank you to the Nordstrom employees who actually helped us while we were shopping.

    Today I went to the Bony Levy jewelry counter, one of many times I’ve been to this counter. Today however, I had the pleasure of working with Ava (I hope I am spelling her name correct). I came in to sadly drop off a bracelet and necklace that had broke. Ava’s customer service was nothing short of amazing. She was personable and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. After I had been working with her for a while, I discovered that she was actually supposed to be on her break- and I wouldn’t have even known because she was so delightful and instead of trying to hurry me out so she could get back to her break, spent extra time making sure I walked away with the best outcome possible. I tried to find a way to leave a review on the actual Nordstrom page where it could get to her management team but cannot figure it out. If anyone can help me with this I would be forever grateful. This girl deserves a raise, or at the very least, some sort of notoriety for her customer service.

    Huge thanks to Jenny at the Tom Ford mens fragrance counter. So friendly, knowledgeable and perfectly chose fragrances that made it tough to choose a favorite. I can’t wait to go back and increase my collection. Thanks Jenny!

    Just have to shout out Alyson for helping me find the perfect perfume as an anniversary gift for my wife, it wasn’t even her department and she was still so knowledgeable and willing to help in the best way that she could. Hands down one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had. She was lovely. Thank you Alyson, my wife loved it btw (:

    I always have my 6 shoes shined by Norstrom's shine person. He does a fantastic job, and he is fast. I don't trust anyone with my expensive shoes

    The employees were really helpful. Especially in the woman’s department near the swim suits. The clothes are top notch and you pay for quality things for pretty reasonable prices. Yes it is more expensive that Walmart or target but the clothes and shoes are really nice! Plus they have sales going on all the time.

    Travis P was the Styling Specialist that worked with me. Super impressed. He gave me the kind of service one would expect from an upscale retailer like Nordstrom, but I haven't received for years. As a result, I dropped $700 on a new suit. And I will be spending more when I return in a week to receive my suit from tailoring. Please, Nordstrom, hire and/or train more of your employees to work with their customers like Travis P from the Tacoma store in all your departments. Fantastic hire for you guys, as he said he was only acquired 3 days ago, but has an extensive history in customer service.

    They were out of stock of some items, but the staff was, at least as amazing as you'd expect from Nordstrom on a given day, but some went above. Michael, in fragrance, was wonderful. Super knowledgeable, helpful, and a great attitude/personality.

    *Neurodivergent person here I get super overwhelmed when shopping- the noise, the lights, the sheer amount of options. I was looking for an formal outfit to wear to a ballet and quickly sought help. Jenny was sweet, fast, and helped me find a little black dress I'll legit probably have until I die. Thanks for helping me find something I feel beautiful and powerful in within like... less than 30 minutes? You the best!

    I went to Nordstrom's because they have ladies to help me find the correct size bra. Pammi was so helpful and such a delight to work with. I had to come back and she remembered me and was eager to help me, again. When i left she said I'll see you, again! She was right. I will be back to see her when I need more help.

    Pick up crew don’t know what they are doing. Their system is so slow and screwed. I ordered for pick up said its ready but wasn’t ready. I drove all the way to pick up. Wasted my time. Went there second time for pick up and could not find order again and took 20min and found out my order was been sent it to other location without notice. Manager there is not training members and not helpful.

    No more Nordstrom for me…In general, I find Nordstrom employees to be distant, cold and aloof. Not warm or friendly at all…I also don’t appreciate it when I’m just trying to relax and and enjoy myself browsing and wandering around the store while each and every move I’m making is being watched like a hawk. It is very uncomfortable and frankly infuriating. It’s not just this location, I find that this is my experience in almost every Nordstrom I visit all along the west coast from Seattle to San Francisco. But the most recent experience I had at this location was the last straw for me. I don’t know how their training their employees…

    The gal in mens shoes was helpful, in fact, I was asked if I needed help in each of the 3 departments I visited. But alas, they had zero shoes in my size. I didn't make any purchases today. Very helpful employees, very nice selection of clothes. Spendy place, be prepared if you go. I'll visit them again someday.

    Arriving on time for an appointment, it was pleasing that the staff member was available as planned as that has not always been the case. She is professional, knowledgeable and amiable. I have confidence that her recommendations will benefit the ongoing care necessary for the long term health of my skin. It is a pleasure to work with Suzie.
