I love sushi and the spin they put on it took it to another level of greatness! The gyoza’s were the best I’ve ever had! The sauce that went with the gyozas was OFF THE CHAIN!!!! We ordered a sushi burrito and loved it!! Ordered a poke bowl and I was dancing in my seat. I love how I got a little bit of seaweed salad in my bowl. I could’ve used more sauce but overall, I loved it! The atmosphere was great! I love their anime theme and the K pop music videos on the screen. I totally say you need to check this place out!! I’ll be back for sure!

This restaurant is cute, wait is long because it is a small place and they are short staffed. It is located in a sketchy area where I parked there was a lot of glass on the floor from car windows and a car on blocks with the windows smashed. While we were eating a homeless person locked themselves in the restroom to wash themselves & the cops had to come to get him out. The food was good but my friends and I all got diarrhea after eating there so go at your own risk :)

Such an amazing place to enjoy Ramen and Poke Bowl. I would love to give them 5 stars, but unfortunately they only had pork broth for their ramen. I would have totally given them 5 stars if they had Chicken broth options. The Tuna poke bowl was very yummy. I just wish the Avocado in the bowl was of a decent quantity rather than a negligible portion. The Ambiance is fun and comfortable. Really enjoyed the dishes. Will go again to try their fried calamari and Sushi Burritos

I am extremely picky and my friend is not. The display window and large picture menu with a full list of ingredients helped us to easily decide what we wanted. They offer a large variety of options but also have sides to basically build your own. The place was decorated beautifully. The lighting was warm but not intrusive. The staff was patient and friendly with all my obnoxious questions 🤣. And the food was INCREDIBLE.

Interesting japanese-fusion menu. Sushi-burritos are about $15 each. I ordered the Dancing Sushi Burrito and U.W.T Sushi Burrito. The food came out pretty quick. Personally I am not crazy about the taste (I didn't like edamame or cream cheese in my sushi burritos), but I think it's worth trying out if you've never had it before. The portion is filling. The decor is amazing and I love the vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant. There's a TV right next to the sitting area blasting K-pop music.

Amazing place that needs a few more veggie options. I wasn't sure about a "sushi burrito," but the fact that it's deep fried (!) brings a snap and a crunch to this unique offering. Then I got the tofu ramen with egg - that was amazing. So, the vegan/vegetarian options are few and far between (most ramen has a pork base). Given that they do veggie fairly well, maybe offer some more in the future? I'll be back for sure.

Stopped in after our flight for a quick lunch. We each got a tuna bowl. At first I thought the tuna portion was small. Toss that sauce on and mix it up a bit, this was plenty of food and great portions of everything. I was stuffed after. Great service and great bowls.

Love the food here, everything has been delicious accross all my visits. Service has also been good, there was once where they messed something up and took twice as long as normal to get it ready but still delicious food. Atmosphere isn't my cup of tea but I get it, its for the hip people 🤣. But the food is definitely my cup of tea! Highly recommend the poke bowls and sushi burritos!

It took about 45 min to get our food and when did parts of the soup were cold while others were too hot to eat. The flavor of the broth was not that great. The goyza's were fantastic and the dipping sauce was awesome! But this was one of my least favorite of all the ramens I've eaten. Even lower than oodles of noodles.

Great food and good quantity I ordered a pop rock sushi burrito. The food was well made and tasted great. Nothing negative to say other than the food took a long time to come. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for some unique food in Tacoma!

Great food, service was great! Burritos were good. Out of their control, the area they are located could be better. We were happy overall and will come back!

Not a bad place! Like the vibe and the food was pretty good. Generous with the ramen portion. The cashiers up front were not the most friendly tho and if you get a booth seat it can get really cold.

Since I discovered this Joint , I must say it's a win. It has this beautiful display of actual food in the menu on the side walls as you Go in. I tried their Firecracker sushi burrito and I loved it. Of you love Poke , then you will love their Poke bowls. The portions are quite generous and ingredients fresh. I personally enjoy the Spicy tuna Poke bowl. They also have a range of sakes if fancy that.

I haven't been to this place in a while. It was my first time coming to this location. This place Naruto theme and the food is amazing here. They have things from pork belly buns to sushi burritos to ramen here. My girlfriend got one of the sushi burritos, and I got tonkotsu chicken chashu ramen with pork slices. Can't wait to come back.

We came here on a Saturday night. I'll start by saying the food was perfect and the atmosphere was wonderful. I immediately wanted to cozy up and stay as long as we could. Now.. Parking was a nightmare we ended up 2 blocks down and walked the rest of the way. While we were waiting for food a homeless man came in for a straw and breath mint. Outside there were 5-7 homeless people just hanging out. My partner refused to park near them. That said, the food was so good we knew we wanted to come back. We ended up visiting another Zen Ramen in the area. This one is hands down prettier.

I'm not from the Tacoma part of Washington but my daughter took me here for an early Father's Day dinner. I ordered the kiatsu chicken and she ordered some chicken pho that was awesome as well. Quaint little place with a decor that'll make you smile. We couldn't eat all of our food and took some home for later and it was just as good. We'll definitely be eating here again. No Wifi, good service. 👍

Visited the restaurant 2 different days & times: 1st was on a Saturday, for lunch (Pop Rock Sushi Burrito, Pork Bun and took a Shrimp Poke bowl 2-Go) and 2nd was on a Wednesday evening for "Sake Wednesdays" and light dinner (Firecracker Sushi Burrito) Awesome atmosphere, food was great and service was on point. Restroom was even a cool vibe in itself.

Great service and delicious food. I had a Ramen bowl and my wife had a poke bowl and both were delicious. We will definitely go back again. Great service and cool dining area. The space is slightly small so tables may be hard to come buy during busy hours. The service is just as good as the food. Very friendly and attentive staff. Parking is street parking and limited due to the surrounding apartments but still available.

Service is good, even you have to order from the counter, get your own drinks. But the cashier came several times to ask if we need anything else. Ramen is a little different from what we got before ( we are from California), so our expectation was high.

Cute shop with anime paintings all over the walls inside. I liked the window booths, which feel a bit more private and fun. Employees were polite and the restaurant was clean. We would both order different dishes next time, but we’d definitely come back! The atmosphere is really fun.

This was one of the Best Experience we’ve had in Tacoma. We had the chicken buns & chicken karaage for apps, Washington poke bowl, shoyu chicken ramen w/fried chicken, & the firecracker sushi burrito. The portions were huge. I didn’t take a pic of the apps bc they were devoured before I could pull out my phone to take one & they were so good! We were greeted with such a warm welcome, the ambiance and vibe of the place was so awesome to experience and the food was delicious. So far, best ramen we have had so far in WA. The anime decor was so unique in its classy black & white colors. We had such a peaceful great dining experience & it felt like we were guests of some amazing family friends. We will definitely be back! The parking sucks but it’s well worth the time finding a space to park to experience the Zen! Thank you Zen family for having us🥰

The coziest place with private booths available and a lovely tea bar. Sushi burritos are fairly priced for the portions and quality, fresh-tasting proteins. The sauces are incredible. The decor is stimulating and modest and employees are very friendly.

Place is really cute. Go in the bathrooms, I loved them lol. Service was good, everyone was very kind. The food was really good, really good flavor. There seemed to be a lot of extra crab salad on things, as a filler, it’s what it seemed like to me. Aside from that it was really good. I wish they had bottles of soy sauce instead of packets, for waste purposes.

Stumbled across this place due to everywhere else being insanely busy and I'm glad I did. Food and portions are both amazing. Staff was super friendly and even being a bit busy, everything came out quick. Can't wait until I'm back in the area to enjoy some new options. Although they have no control of what happens outside their establishment, the area is super rough, so take caution where you park and what you leave in your vehicle.
