I ordered a custom cake for my fathers birthday. The design was a simple logo for a soccer team. The design came out very sloppy. Writing looked rushed and lazy. I've ordered Fredmeyer cakes that look much better. The price for this 10 inch 3 leches with 3 different fruits was not up to par. We ordered strawberries, kiwi, and mango. They only delivered on the strawberries. Cake was average, dry and tasteless. I don't want to sound cliche but this cake literary ruined my dad's day. Other reviews praise them but I see not many people have ordered custom cakes. If they were not able to make a custom cake as we requested they should have let us know.

After calling every donut shop in Tacoma and finding out that not a single one of them offers even one vegan donut, I found this Mexican bakery that has the word vegan in the title. The selection of delicious vegan sweets is ENORMOUS! I bought 6 or 7 treats, and at that rate, it's going to take months for me to try every vegan item they offer. I did my best to savor every treat but everything was so good that it didn't last long. The service was very friendly and the prices are reasonable (there was no vegan tax). Highly recommended.

Update: out of all the desserts I got, my to two favorites were the chocolate tiramisu and the Bavarian cream 😋 --- I've had this place saved on my wish list to visit in WA for probably two years. We've driven through the area many times in a semi truck, and never got the chance to stop - because we were on a truck. I just moved to WA two days ago, and I finally got to come by to try this place out. The owner, Angel, was there and when I told him that I've just moved here and had this place saved to go to forever, he ended up talking to me for probably 10 minutes suggesting all kinds of great things to go see and do around Washington. It was great! Very kind guy and the pastries are all delicious. Thank you for the recommendations, Angel! I'll definitely be coming back to try more desserts.

I don't get many chances to enjoy vegan desserts so this place made me so happy. So many treats to choose from. There was regular, vegan and gluten free. So many yummy desserts!

Found this place searching for vegan options... this place is AMAZING!!!! My husband and I got a bunch of treats and sat in our vehicle and tried what we purchased. Everything was so good. We actually went back in to buy some more goodies for later. Chris helped us out! He was very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much!

Best cakes ever .!!!!!! Not only did they taste amazing but he went above and beyond with these cakes and had the best customer service too . Our cake ended up falling apart a little on the ride home and he came all the way to my home after he closed up his shop on such a last notice to fix the cake up for us since I mentioned to him it was my sons birthday the following day and it was a special day that I wanted to be perfect . He didn’t hesitate or ignore me and came same day to make our sons day perfect and repaired the cake for us . Will definitely be going here from now on to get all our cakes and am grateful for how professional and humble he was . I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and if it was possible to give this place more than a 5 stars I would !!!!

So many delicious vegan pastries but the star is the vegan thres leches. I can’t remember the last time I had a thres leches this delicious 😋 Also love the conchas 😮‍💨 so good

The cake was for my husband birthday. I wanted something simple but delicious and eye catching as well. I went to Pasteles Finos del Angel and asked for a Praline Cake. The cake was so delicious, super soft, balanced and addictive. Everything on point. My husband loved it, I loved it and our children as well. A very clean and professional cake shop. Excellent to deal with in every respect. Highly recommended!

DELICIOUS!!!! I ordered the kahlua cake for my husband's birthday and can't describe how amazing this cake was! Also snagged a cookie and cupcake when I picked up the cake and those were tasty too! Great customer service, reasonable prices, lots of vegan, GF, healthy options. Will return and highly recommend!

We were excited to try this place out because of the vegan offerings but ended up with mixed feelings. It's a sort of dreary building, a bit out of the way, near nothing else interesting. The carrot cake is really good though it was a little bit of a surprise to find it includes pineapple. And the amount of frosting was too heavy for our liking. The pastries were really airy, the type of overly dry flaky rather than tender flaky. Not sure if this is an intentional difference between Mexican and French styles, but something you should be aware of I can't seem to find the right name, but there's a large spiral orange custard pastry that was delicious and tender. I swear there's a secret spice (not listed in the ingredients) Overall I'd recommend it as a place to try, but I wouldn't be able to afford coming here regularly

Vegan Heaven. My wife recently started vegan diet due to our newborn having eczema. Besides not being buttery, for someone who loves sweets, it was pretty amazing.

Incredible churros and other desserts, even better owner! Stayed open a little bit past close for me to get my order and gave me some free samples to taste while I waited. Excellent prices too. Highly recommend! Thanks, Angel!

A huge variety of vegan cookies, cakes, and cupcakes. Also alot of bakery items to choose from that are not vegan. They also sell birthday candles, & cold drinks. This bakery has all the baked goods you need for a birthday party.

Service was friendly and helpful, but none of the items we bought were very good. We tried several cookies and pastries and they were all below average. I usually love thumbprint jelly cookies but the jelly on these were dry and gummy and you could actually see the fingerprint. It made me lose my appetite. The two stars are for the nice service. Hope they improve on the food.

Such a delightful place! I haven't seen so many vegan dessert options at once. I was confused on what to take as I'd commuted by bus from Seattle to get here and could only carry a limited amount of desserts along. I couldn't get any pictures as everything was delicious and I gulped it all faster than I'd imagined. I finished everything (fruit tart, coconut pineapple pastry, cookies) I got from here within 24 hours of getting them although I had the intention of keeping them around for a week. 😂 Another visit is in order very soon. I highly recommend this place! In a way I'm thankful this is very far from where I live otherwise I'd have to exercise A LOT! 😆

Great service and easy to find parking 👍🏻 It took me a few days to write this review. I think I was used to the grocery store Tres Leches cakes. The vegan version from this bakery wasn't good at all. It seemed to have kept in the fridge for too long, or there wasn't enough favors to begin with. Very expensive $28 spent for a cake ended up in the trash after 2 days when no family members cared to finish it 😭

BEST VEGAN BAKERY IN TACOMA! I’m so sad I’ve been missing out because this is better than any other vegan bakery in Tacoma. It’s fresh, the right price, more than half the store is vegan desserts!!! And it’s family owned/ small buisness! You NEED to try this place out!! It will change your world!
