they opened a month ago in here Eastside! walking distance fresh coffee smell makes me happy n feels good day begins. I stopped going to Starbucks because I have to drive! I prefer walking the neighborhood in the morning n grab a coffee! Blueberry corn maffin is delicious, recommend! the staff is really friendly, too. there r 7 tables n counter table seats. there is outside tables n chairs for especially dog lovers. I saw the water bawl outside. that is very thoughtful! All flat floor included a bathroom n entrance shows stroller friendly n wheelchair accessible. Parking: street parking.

My Manifesto coffee was beyond perfect with a over the top chocolate cupcake. As you walk in your always greeted by the kindest baristas. Lovely place to sit and enjoy friend’s. They now have have tea.

UPDATE: 7/17/2022 Back to the fantastically smooth, perfectly sized tears of heaven. The response from the business was as wonderful as the cup of joy. Could one ask for a better cup of coffee? I don't think so. I think their beans are imported from paradise and you would be a fool to skip out on the goodness that your tongue could enjoy. If you don't like the coffee here, go to your parents and get a refund on your defective taste buds. 7/11/2022 I don't know what happened but the mocha I got on Saturday was the worst coffee of my life. That includes cross country backwoods gas stations. Normally the coffee is excellent but this time the chocolate settled out along with the hemp milk and the coffee. Also that was the smallest large coffee of my life. Inflation?

As a European on US vacation, I highly recommend this coffee place for all coffee lovers! After 2 weeks of travel I finally found a regular espresso ❤️. It was delicious! ☕️☕️☕️ Place looks cool and you might to get to pet a cute dog or two 😉.

My sanctuary is Lux coffee. Every drink is expertly made, the pricing are reasonable, the pastries are flaky, and the baristas don't just serve coffee; they also get to know their customers by name and are always pleased to see them when they enter the establishment. not to mention doggie kisses from the shop puppies! The quality of the coffees and teas has utterly astounded every friend I've brought here. I visit this store every week; it's truly one of Tacoma's best hidden treasures. Amazing feelings, amazing dogs, amazing vibrations, amazing coffee. 10 out of 10!!!

My husband and I went there for a brunch date and it was really nice. The owner that runs it is friendly, the coffee she made was really good. I almost ordered a 2nd one to take home. The food was pretty decent as well. I had ordered a sandwich and grilled it to make it into a penini. We plan on going there again for another date really soon.

This place is very nice. I have been here in the past, but I forgot to take pictures or write a review. This time I am doing both. The beauty of course is they are up the road from me. So I can walk there without it being a journey. The coffee is good. The atmosphere is great. The snacks are amazing..

I am so overjoyed the Eastside got one of the best coffee shops in the city! This place reflects the Tacoma vibe really well. Customer service is above and beyond and the coffee... The only other place that compares is Manifesto! I will be spending lots of time and $ here!

The gents serving was super cool. Super sweet dog in the shop too. Nice clean and hip. Good chill music. Coffee was A++ and the quiche is ridiculously good.

When I walked in there was numerous amounts of flies in the air which I understand can happen with the door opening and closing however the Bristol was sitting in the back on her phone when she could’ve been using the flyswatter in my opinion trying to eliminate that. I come in talking friendly and she didn’t seem of any interest to indulge in conversation when I asked her for a suggestion she had none I went ahead and ordered a Matcha. It wasn’t good it tasted like dirt I asked her for a new drink and she told me that I would have to pay for another one I just think that’s not good business and she wasn’t nice about it especially because I just spent $20 including a four dollar tip another thing is she gave me a cold sandwich but did not give me any instructions on how to use the sandwich press or the microwave I literally got up and had to find a way to warm up my sandwich with no instruction which I thought was kind of rude to. What made me want to come here today because I came here one time and had good customer service and good coffee and dessert but now after this experience I will not come here again

If anyone gives this place less than 5 stars, I don't know what is going on with you. The friendliest service, the most chill Tacoma vibe, some of the BEST coffee in town. This is a gem in the East Side that needs more recognition. They only keep improving and providing a hospitable and delicious experience. (Those homemade pop-tarts are to die for!) The only part that is truly devastating is the hours 😭, sometimes I really crave their coffee but it's too late in the day.

Great place for a morning coffee and pastry or an afternoon tea and biscuit. All are locally made from nearby business. Grab a bag of beans to grind at home. Relax and enjoy

My favorite coffee shop in Tacoma. The specials are always interesting and flavorful, the staff and service is wonderful, and it has such a cool ambiance. I love the dark walls and leather with woodtones.

Perfect coffee joint vibe. Top quality espresso, friendly and attentive baristas, pastries that I love, mellow atmosphere, local art. I’d be here every morning, if my schedule allowed.
