Great atmosphere and location. Looked really nice inside and was treated well by staff members. Didn't enjoy the coffee as much as I hoped. Was boiling hot when I got it and was a bit too bitter. Haven't tried the sandwich yet, but will come back for those!

Brooooooooo...Hands up!,this is the BEST sandwich I've EVER eaten!!! I'm on round TWO. I ate this yesterday, and it was so muthafukkenlicious I had it again today. This is the Vegan sandwich, so BIG, so yummy, and you guys be sleeping on the Vegan cuisine, those of you who feel they have to eat meat ERRRDAY!! This is delicious 😋 Try it!

It's quick, it's easy, and it's not too pricey on top of being real good! A fantastic piece of South Tacoma Way and attached to a really cool music venue to boot!

Came here spontaneously and...I did not want my sandwich to end. I got the mad max on a roll and WOW. I would go here again in a heartbeat. Great vibe and great food.

I waited 20 minutes for what tasted like a McDonald's breakfast sandwich. 3 separate orders went out to in house customers who ordered after me. Priority given to mobile orders interested of in house customers. Absolutely horrible service and food quality. You would have to pay me to go back.

One of my favorite places for breakfast sandwiches and an iced coffee. They are absolutely delicious and the cafe has a cool vibe too! Oh, regular sandwiches and coffee are super delish too.

Beyond ThunderDome is one of my absolute favorite sandwich spots in Tacoma. Tom, Adrian, and everyone at ThunderDome are always down to make whatever silly sandwich orders I come with. Breakfast, lunch or dinner: I know they’ve got me. Also they have the best coffee for absolutely no reason. You’d think they’d be satisfied with great sandwiches and great food but they had to take it one dastardly step further and do great drinks too. Love how many vegan/vegetarian options they have. Also are always willing to customize so you get the food you love. Overall, this place rocks.

PERFECT vegan breakfast sandwich. The croissant is all I’ve ever wanted, the employees are so cute and nice, and the store itself is designed/decorated so well. ❤️

In the Cafe' the two staff members were very friendly and professional. Good food for the price. Played my favorite alternative rock songs from 2000's.

Great atmosphere here. I just took the tour of the place I haven't tried the coffee or food but if it is in line with everything else there I am sure it is excellent.

Local sandwich, espresso shop. Ordered the Dr. Dealgood(vegan) which was disgusting and the lord hummungs which was very good. The service was terrible. It seems they want to serve a certain demographic and we apparently do not fit in as we seemed to be shunned from the moment we walked in the door. At least the dog was friendly.

01.11.22: Lord Humungus...toasted...this is truth in food. Stumbled in sort of serendipity like and now a saved spot for me! This sandwich came out and it truly did not have a chance to get a photo taken. Maybe next time I'll slow my roll

Very fun sandwich shop / cafe attached to a music venue and curated analog shop. They serve vegan and regular sandwiches, hotdogs, breakfast sandwiches, nachos, and coffee drinks. Beer, seltzer, and soda are also available. I have been vegan for most of my life and can certify that the vegan options were a feature and not an afterthought. The vegan nachos were the highlight. They scratch that movie-theatre-nacho itch, the vegan cheese/chili was tasty, and they are an excellent value. My sandwich was big, but I still enjoyed the nachos on the side. The owner was really nice and his dog pancake was so sweet. They have retro VHS you can watch and an N64 with Mario Kart that a couple of people can play, while they are hanging out. Service was fast and the place was clean.

I found God in Tacoma at the Beyond the Thunderdome Café. I ordered a Mad Max, they were out of steak au jus but I bartered for extra horseradish and they raised me chicken au jus. Word. The sandwich came fast and surpassed any expectations I had for an incredible smelling yet modest set-up. We don’t hear much about the Tacoma food scene up in Seattle but boy did Beyond the Thunderdome get my buy-in. They have the ease and pricing of a Cap Hill hot dog but 100x the superior craft. Their meats rival craft steakhouses and their bread the finest of bakeries. The horseradish ratio was perfection and our sandwiches baptized in the au jus. It was a religious experience to be rivaled.

Their croissant sandwiches are so good. The croissants have the perfect light and buttery texture that a lot of places get wrong. They have delicious sandwich sauces, and they don't skimp on the meat. The coffee is pretty average.

Beyond ThunderDome Café is a great place to snag a coffee and a tasty sandwich. The vibe is always chill and the people working here are super welcoming. They do have vegan and vegetarian options if you're into that. There's also delivery through Uber eats if you don't feel like leaving your house.

The best sandwiches in Tacoma, hands down. Not only are the signature sandwiches great but the Build Your Own (BYO) options are perfect for everyone, including vegetarians and vegans. Also don’t sleep on the breakfast sandwiches and coffee from local roaster Manifesto.

I met a cute dog here when I went here last year and had a yummy vegan breakfast sandwich. The dog was very sweet and her name was Pancake, I hope she is well :)

They make the best sandwiches in town! You can customize your sandwich to your liking. Tom knows what he’s doing!!! The place is cute and unique to Tacoma! Def a must try!
