Rating them 5 stars because of their service and because of the hotel concept. I chose this place because we wanted to experience grilling our own food at the restaurant which is located at their roof top and because I didn’t want to deal with long drive and traffic in one day - I also booked a family room here. Besides, how many times does one get to sleep in a shipping container turned hotel? 😄 I sold the idea to my kids and they went for it! The hotel itself, I think was prettier pre-pandemic. I say this because there are some areas that seem to not have been maintained for quite some time but the place has still kept its charm. I really love the paintings hanging on their walls and how bottles and wood palettes have been reused and repurposed. I love how the family room was set up as well with a small common living room, the double deck with pullout, the queen bed in the main living room. The bathrooms also have a separate area for the toilet ad shower stall. Now this place is great for staycations but other than that, you’d need to find activity nearby. Aside from Camping & Grilling at the rooftop, there’s also a Japanese restaurant next to it and Starbucks across the road. I booked online and paid excess charges with a credit card onsite and they also have their own parking space. I love the weather when we were there - some rains and very cold with fog. 😄

Very nice place. There are rooms good for 2 or for up to 5 people. Very friendly staff. Bonus is you're right next to a Japanese Restaurant

I really enjoyed our overnight stay at Containers by Ecohotels. Their rooms are very clean and smells so good and the staff are super friendly and accomodating. I also love that they use recycled items in constructing the hotel. And their toiletries are all bottled, very environmental friendly. My husband loves the vibe of the hotel, very relaxing and he specially liked the location. Very accessible via Aguinaldo Highway. We also love their plated breakfast, substantial and brewed coffee is refillable. We will surely comeback again

Stay last Aug. 19-20 with my fiancée. Highly recommended if you want to have quality time with your loved ones. The place is quiet (good for introverts like us couple) and close to some establishments like Starbucks which is walking distance away. Special thanks to sir Ricky and the other staffs for accomodating us. They were very kind and thoughtful. Looking forward to our next stay. ❤️

The service was also amazing. They even offered to serve the food in our room and it was plated nicely! The staff are all incredibly nice and helpful

No wifi, bed sheets have red stains likely blood, towels are dirty and have holes. Shower head broken. Waste of money. Whoever manages this hotel should look for another job.

Communication is not great, we tried to contact this hotel the days before the stay on email/Instagram/Viber/phone and no response. Rooms have mold in them. We were moved room and the 2nd room was sprayed with cleaning product to cover the mold smell in that room. We had to pay extra for continental breakfast and it was rubbish. Toast was drenched in garlic and fruit was so old it was dry.

Great place to stay specially if you're on a budget but still want to have a great lodging experience. The area is quiet, with pet friendly facilities, free flowing drinking water, heated bath water, and many more. It is quite near to SB (with overlooking) and has a nearby Japanese restaurant which saves you time when you just want to chill.

Staff were nice and the ambience is quite remarkable. The eco friendly theme makes me love it even more together with the art pieces around the place. I do however would like to at least have clean sheets in the bedroom. There were red and orange spots in the sheets that we asked to be replaced. Overall it was nice and the staff were friendly.

Rooms could be a bit cleaner but they are spacious. Bathroom and shower are clean, I just wish the vents were better and steel racks weren't rusty. The bench with the tv was dirty and had stains on it. The bench wasn't comfortable at all when you extend it. The one ceiling fan wasnt working but the room does get cold. The staff gave us extra towels and pillows. I'd recommend staying here.

Friendly staff, room phones not working at the moment, had to get maintenance to fix the heater on our first night, limited parking spaces

Plus points that it is an Eco Hotel Quite pricey for the size of the room Overall, it's okay - I would recommend it if you are just passing by - but again, pricey.

It was a different experience. Location is very good and you can walk everywhere. We found cockroaches in the room though. But over all it was a nice vacation.

Value for Money, highly recommended for overnight. Or you want a rest from Travel. Clean room, No kettle if you need hot coffee to drink, you just go down to the coffee shop or across the street to Starbucks.

1st night queen room 206- faucet swaying, shower water suddenly changes from hot to cold and vv. Cramped. Moved to family room following night, 2nd container from right facing all ground floor rooms. Lower bunk bed pillow, bedding and bedsheet smelled of dog pee. Brought 2 pillows from queen over to bunk bed which also ended up smelling of dog pee. My daughter was so excited but didn’t want to ruin it for her by complaining. I left bedding & bedsheet outside; 3 smelly pillows on the couch. Sink clogged, shower water still suddenly changes from hot to cold and vv, pungent toilet. I’m a rescue but a regular customer in this pet friendly hotel. Overall a very disappointing and unpleasant experience; do not stay here if youre not a pet enthusiast or don’t plan to bring your pet/

This place is awesome, they provide good services and the best part they try to make less waste. they also have organic products for bath & skin care essentials. made my Tagaytay stay warm and will definitely come visit again.

Went here because we have a pet with us. Staff was very nice. Room is small and smelled old but interior is fine. If we have no pet with us we would book somewhere else. Breakfast was okay but wake up early to have more options in the menu.

-The pillows are too soft - that I have to stuff 3 pillows to get a comfy sleep; and the floor is slippery, that I have to be extra careful when getting out of bed. -Common places are quite dusty - the bench and the playground. -Breakfast is not that appealing, but it tastes fine. --But we enjoyed our stay. We like the concept of the hotel. It's a nice place and the staff are very accomodating.

Their advocacy is to help save the earth and promote a sustainable lifestyle. 👍 This is why their rooms are all recycled from old container trucks, and their shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and even drinking water are served in glass containers that they refill upon request. In their reception area / lobby you can buy these same products using your own containers; it's best to go by the liter. They also sell handmade soaps that are quite good: Our favorites are the Papaya, Turmeric, and Wood Vinegar variants. They are also our usual drop off for the ecobricks we make, which they use to help build schools.

the hotel is very easy to find, and close to a japanese restaurant (just in front), starbucks (across the road when you get to the end of SVD road), and 7-11(less than 5-minute walk although it was closed when we went there on Dec 25). free breakfast was good, on christmas morning we had sikwate. christmas eve they had dinner where guests had 20% discounted rate, plus free pica2 that included smores and a glass of wine! they allow pets, all but a few of us brought pets. as with everywhere in tagaytay face masks and shield are required, they check temperatures when you checkin, and the roofdeck is arranged to allow for distancing. they observe the citywide 10pm curfew too but they post a number for emergencies. they have a nice and helpful staff. the heater in our room was broken on our 2nd day so they let us shower in another vacant room before we checked out. they also heat up our baon bread ☺️.

Hotel housekeeping removed our belongings and place our food in the trash before 12nn. We have not checked out yet at that time. Manager was "very busy" to talk to us and did not bother to make arrangements. Clearly unprofessional. Just checked out today. Hope your management could compensate such poor and unacceptable service by the hotel staff.
