This bar is overrated. The drinks and food are average and the service is ridiculously BAD. I believe there are lots of better choices in Tainan.

After the longest lockdown in taiwan, finally the govt eased on eating inside the restaurant and bars, it was a friendly get together, friends from taipei had joined for a mini vacation.This place was always in my GO-WISH-LIST, finally achieved my goal because of my friends.... We expected crowd, but wasn't many because still people are worried about pandemic, ambience was so good, very unique lighting with some decent painting hanging around, a place to visit for private talks and of course a cozy place to hang out... coming to the menu, it was like a bar made just for the covid season, the items in the menu were really funny, but seemed realistic to the present situation. Red oolong Whiskey chicken - Favourites of the day ---- soda infused whisky (the thin coloured syrup on the plate), I could also feel the manicured twist of lemon which was inside the syrup... The chicken was well cooked and really juicy, I as an Indian would want it to be more cooked, but it was really good with the whiskey syrup, (would recommend the chef to try out with BOURBON or JACK DANIELS, it would replenish the twist in the customer's tongue heheh 😂 lol Stay home --- Its was a cocktail kind of a drink which was just like orange juice but mixed with some citrus fruits, I could not name it, but it was pretty decent.. it had Gin Earl Grey Grapefruit Lychee- A cocktail with lychee dominating the taste of the drink. 潺 (TRICKLE)- THis is was the second cocktail, I have pretty much tasted trickle in many places, but this was like a taiwanese version of it hehe, I dont think they used COGNAC in it, I think it was just some good brandy that tasted, anyway it was decent for expensive for that small glass ALL the dishes were pretty good and appetising especially for the chicken, if it was for non alcohol person then they would be at the best time, because we could feel the whiskey rhythm singing in our brains heheheh🤣lol Peace out guys ✌️✌️ Bon Appetit🤙

Bad and rude waiter. Bar itself is to provide the customer for chill and relaxation. However, bad service totally ruin the mood and have very bad impression. Not recommend to visit the bar.

Cool atmosphere, nice deco. Great service throughout yet they don’t even charge service fee! Good quality drinks too! Will definitely revisit soon.

Tastefully furnished, atmospheric, uniquely Tainan. Drinks were OK. However, a cockroach crawled across friend’s leg while we were drinking. Tried not to make a fuss about it and killed it ourselves. Made a complaint. Didn’t get compensated or whatsoever. Disappointed.

Tatami room was nice, we came only for a couple of drinks and all was good, got recommendations about the cocktails and overall it was very good..

First off, the reservation process via phone is professional and friendly. The setting is in the proximity of snail alley with strong presence of distinctive Tainan arts and craft spirit. Upon arrival we were greeted at the door and escorted to our seat of our choice. The interior is clean, classy and elegant. Lighting is intimate and furniture setting are stylish and cozy. Staff members were very knowledgeable, sincere and kind in providing memorable night out experience. Drinks were of quality and thoughtfully crafted. The menu cleverly takes form of descriptive placards and the desserts (esp. whiskey chocolate cake) were simply heavenly. Overall the experience was very positive - unpretentious, intimate and memorable.

Atmosphere here totally amazing!

Chill place for quiet drinks. Don't count if rowdy. Tea cocktails. Snacks. 600pp min charge for our table. We had a marvelous time. Note- the photo with the bug looking thing is a star anise. Pretty scary floating in your cocktail so I took it out. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Apparently a high quality bar in Tainan. Cocktail with special creative and food at traditional Taiwanese style. Waiter and waitress are all kind and patient, only thing need to be noticed is that there’s only one toilet at outside, lol.

Excellent cocktails! It was pretty busy, even on a Wednesday, so it'd be a good idea to make a reservation.

Chanced upon this place while walking around the snail alley. Interesting cocktails and the staff were friendly and patient. Do expect to pay a little bit more for this place though.

If you're a whiskey drinker skip the cocktail menu and ask for the Nantou. Quality Taiwanese Whiskey and the bartenders know it because they've been to the distillery on a proper 'research' trip.
