The other English speaking reviewers led me here and I was not disappointed! The staff were incredibly helpful and spoke excellent English, which seems to be rare in Tainan. Moreover the food, whole simple in nature, was delicious, cheap, and very satisfying. I had their cheese omelette, clay oven roll with egg, and black tea with milk. All up it was just under 100 NT!

When I visited Tainan, I wondered why it was hard to find Shaoxing jiu and Doujiang, which were common in Taipei. The manager was friendly and kind, but Youtiao was oily and tough, and Doujiang was so-so. It's still not bad but way less tasty than that in Taipei.

Excellent Taiwanese breakfast. We had sweet soy milk, egg pancakes, and shaobing youtiao. All were tasty. Ordered to go and ate in our hotel room, the few tables outside were all occupied. Quick and easy.

Chanced upon this breakfast place the staff are great! We ordered the 蛋饼 (egg rolls) and it's really authentic. They are very generous with the fillings. We also got the 馒头 (steamed buns - the brown ones are nicer!). Really fresh ingredients and tasted really good! Bonus point for the awesome service. Seeing that we are tourists, we even got complimentary gyozas for tasting! A must come if you are shopping around Yamuliao market

Honest and good value traditional Taiwanese breakfast. Staff is friendly and helpful with suggestions of interesting places to go. Highly recommended!

We were looking for local soy milk with pancakes combo breakfast.. and we found this.. omg a table of tasty foods only cost NT95.. don’t forget to try their signature soymilk and pancake with egg and balcon!!

Excellent breakfast spot! Opens early and has great variety of taiwanese breakfast staples. Both salty and sweet soy milk were excellent. And very affordable!

Good food, friendly and local vibe

Very good. Enjoyed the shaobing with youtiao and omelette. Good service and good value.
