This city is well known for eel stir fry and this chain too. The eel with noodles was stronger in sweetness than sourness, typical of Tainan. The squid was fresh, easy to chew, but salty. Unfortunately, this is a terrible location from the point of view of the customers. It is located right on the corner of two busy streets and all the outdoor seats are exposed to the exhaust of the many cars and motorcycles driving by (not sure if they have any indoor seats). Terrible!

Supposedly a popular spot that serves blood eel noodles. It was ok, nothing out of the ordinary.

Since eel noodle is one of the most famous food in Tainan, it makes this place the first food stall I have ever visited during my first trip there. The price for the noodle (100 NTD) is a little bit high since eel is expensive I think. Overall it tasted good, the broth is sour and sweet, the noodle is soft and delicious though the eel is little bit hard to chew. The restaurant service is pretty standard so I don't have any comments for it, and other foods than the noodle is reasonably priced.

This place deserves no stars. It used to be a nice place to eat. Now it is overpriced, staffed by rude employees and the trademark taste of the 意麵 is no more. The eel noodles are too sweet and lack to the distinctive viniger taste. Totally not a recommended eatery. If you want 意麵 while in Tainan then go elsewhere.

Great place for eel noodles I love the dry fried eel noodles It’s a bit pricy and the portion wasn’t really good But from my point of view it’s totally worth it Recommended that you give it a try

avoid at all costs. the boss is rude, the food is overpriced, and the taste is subpar at best. the eel noodles cost 180nt and the cabbage cost 60nt. both dishes lacked any real depth of flavor. the cabbage tasted dirty and i could see specks dirt at the bottom of the dish. tainan has so many truly incredible food options, don’t waste your time and money here.
