This is as all local traditional street food cafes the best of Tainan. I had soup and a rice dumplings..... then a second bowl of soup. It is the energy of Tainan.... the social beauty of Tainan.... a blessing to go there.

The eating habits of southern people are different from northern people in Taiwan. In Tainan, people like to have porridge, rice dumpling, rice or noodles for breakfast. Since I am in Tainan, I have to try what southern people eat for breakfast. The rice dumpling tasted soggy but I enjoyed it. The miso soup has tofu and fritters in it, only sells for NT$10.

Affordable and yummy place to go if travelers want to taste local Tainan food. There is no fancy sign board, but the traditional taste attract many residents coming for here or to go. I love this place.

Authentic and superb delicious on rice dumpling without meat! The rice covering the smell of leaves and Miso-soup are in good choreographically good combination. Fair cheap for breakfast.

It was my first time trying Zongzi Dumplings and I was not dissapointed 🥰 I saw really good opinions before going to this place and seeing all the locals around made us realise that there’s a reason for it - it’s run by nice people and there’s a great and authentic atmosphere! Best combination for me was the Vegetable Zongzi with the Miso Soup! Make sure to come before 9am because they quickly sell out!
