Famous for their deep fried prawn rolls but what I really enjoyed here was the 虱目鱼 Milk Fish Skin. So far the fish skin I've tried is usually deep fried, but this is not. It's like boiled/steamed and drizzled with their homemade braised minced pork. Something truly unique I've not tried anywhere else. The fried rolls were really good too, 真材实料, even the seafood cake, was filled with chunky bits of prawn and squid, not just seafood-flavoured flour paste.

My favorite shrimp rolls in taiwan. A must visit during your vacation in Tainan. Beware of the parking space, they have limited parking areas but they are walking distance to a bus station. Check the map before your visit. The price is affordable but the portion is quite small. They taste great and I always bring my guests here during their visit to Taiwan (Tainan).

Finally got to try their famous fried shrimp roll and you know what, I actually prefer their seafood pie. Their Fried shrimp roll was in fact good as well but it was overshadowed by the even better seafood pie. However, I disliked their braised pork rice as they unnecessarily added parsley to it.

The store is famous for its fried shrimp rolls, a classic appetizer in Tainan. Slightly on the expensive side considering the portions (2 rolls cost 80 NT). But definitely worth the visit if you haven't tried it before. The fish ball soup is nothing too special, but goes well with the rolls. Lots of tourists with high turnover, you get your food super fast!

The place locates in the heart of Tainan downtown area. The surrounding areas have many food stores. The most amazing thing is despite its location and epic view, the foods in this store are very affordable but greatly tasty. Another bonus point is how fast you can get your foods after your orders. Literally less than 5 minutes! There noodle broth is very flavorful while their shrimp rolls are filled with shrimps. Its food quality and the price just doesn’t seem to be a match as the price is too cheap for the quality and dining experience here!!!

One of the best meals I've had while in Taiwan. The shrimp rolls are so good! It's perfectly crunchy, and not too oily. The milkfish congee, fishball soup, coffin bread and the oyster omelets are also very good. It's a great place to have all the traditional delicacies of Tainan. Definitely would come back!

Came here while on tour and tour guide suggested to us to have the deep fried prawn rolls. The restaurant is fairly clean and not too busy when we arrived. You have to fill a order form and queue to place your order and collect your food from the counter. When i was ordering there was about 4 people ahead of me and only 1 out of 3 counters were open despite the fact that there was a lady at the counter doing nothing but wiping unused trays (she later stood at the counter waiting to take orders when there was no one ordering). We ordered the soup noodles, dried noodles, fish skin soup, deep fried prawn rolls and squid balls, red tea and a tofu jelly in almond milk. Price was pretty reasonable. Food was fairly average as the noodles were quite bland while the red tea was too sweet. Only the tofu jelly was really good. Service was fairly average too although it was quite fast service once you manage to place an order and pay at the counter. Place was also fairly clean except the toilet which smelled and was very wet. There is a souvenir store within the restaurant and the lady there was quite nice. When we asked if there was a cleaner place to change our 2 yo daughter's nappy, she suggested that we head upstairs to use the cleaner toilet to do so. Overall, nothing really to shout about and probably better options in Tainan than this.

Our hired day trip driver recommended this eatery in Tainan. The 炸虾卷 was good, and the 海鲜派 was awesome. Danzai noodle was ok only. Would re-visit for their fried stuff! They are connected to a store that sells local products, so same time you can buy Tainan souvenirs or 土产 home. And wished their air-conditioning was stronger, or maybe just because we were seated nearer to the entrance.

Food is awesome here. Their iconic dish is the prawn rolls. Try lots of different smaller dishes. They are easy to share with friends and family. It gets super crowded so best to come early and get a nice table. There are three floors of seating. Pay in the front and you bring your food to your table. Would recommend and come again.

We ordered 4 dishes to sample what others think it’s nice, the fish soup is not bad. The fried fish roe was interesting but it’s rather hard. The shrimp is so so - nothing fantastic. The fried prawn roll I think it’s over rated - I do feel cheated - it’s dry and was cold when I got it.

The food is great but customer service is a little lacking if unable to communicate in mandarin. This place is busy during lunch hours. Self service just like a fast food chain. You can pick up the order form and pencil just by the counter and fill up your order and pass to the cashier for further processing. To me...the price is reasonable. Must try the prawn roll. Made up of fish paste and prawns rolled up and fried to perfection. Fishball dish is also a good choice. We tried the noodles and it's complimenting the side dishes that we had. The glutinous rice is also a good dish to try.
