I think the breakfast is extremely nice, varied and tasty. Staff is very kind and helped us contact the railway company when one traveller forgot their mobile phone on the train. Decor is a little 80s ;) but our room was very large, comfortable, had big windows and was quiet at night. Location as others have said is great. They even have a coin laundry. I would absolutely stay here again.

Dated hotel, needs to be remodeled, breakfast service is a joke, average quality and they will turn off the heater (for the buns) before breakfast service is over. However the location is very good, 2 min walk to chikhan tower, lots of eateries, convenience stores around. I would not stay here again

Convenience of the location is subjective. There is a smoke stench throughout the floor. Non-smokers might reconsider again. That aside, I am not sure why the beds are so hard. It felt like sleeping on the floor covered with blanket. Lastly, breakfast is so so. One of their pork dishes is definitely from the night before given the rotten smell

Location is pretty convenient. About 10mins walk from the station. The level and room that we are staying have smoke stench but I think it's common throughout. Room is big and clean but the drainage in the toilet could be better.

Great location and big rooms. Breakfast is fine, service is good (but English speaking staff is rare). Be careful of 5th floor because it has smoking rooms .

One star for the bicycles to be borrowed, one for the price, and one for some nice staff. One female stuff was rude. The assigned room was not what I booked, extremely annoying. I won’t stay there again.

The hotel was average. Pros: Customer service at the front desk was great though. Location was nice. Cons: Found a dead mosquito on the wall, some of the blanket had stains on it. Breakfast options were small.

Great location, walking distance to historical attractions and train station. Hotel itself is a little old but fine for overnight lodging. Probably best value for Tainan.

Spacious room with good Wifi speed of 40mbps dl and 19 Ull. Even includes a good breakfast. But it doesn't have an electronic safety box. Pretty good cable TV with enough English channels. Lots of Taiwanese eateries outside. Checkout time is 12:00pm rare these days.

We booked the room through the Qantas website and were pleasantly surprised by the spacious room we received (which was number 866). The room had a small dining table with four seats, a working desk, a wardrobe, a queen-size bed, two side tables, a small fridge, and a beautiful 'antique-looking' cabinet stand with coffee and tea facilities. We could tell that the hotel was well-maintained by the management. The team at the reception was polite, friendly, and always helpful. The location itself was very good; surrounded by local restaurants, 7-Eleven, Family Mart, cinemas, and the tourist attraction Chikan Tower. Tainan Station is only a 15-minute walk away or 4-minute Uber ride.
