This hotel blocked TVBS from its tv because it does not align with political view of either owner or manager. Bring politic in to business is extremely disgusting. 0/10. Will never be back.

Excellent value! I stayed here a few times and am very satisfied each stay. They provide free parking. An easy 10 minted drive would get you to town center. They provide free bicycle too! Their breakfast buffet is pretty good consider its part of the package. Food are very fresh and nicely prepared. The room size is very generous and very clean. Staff are very pleasant and polite. I highly recommend this place.

A beautiful hotel and rooms are great but this hotel has no soul. Staff are not very friendly and they don't pay much attention to you. It's a hotel that serves mainly mainland Chinese guests. I would not recommend to Western guests to stay here.

Giving four stars for the check-in staff's effort in showing us three rooms before my mom decided to settle for the first room, which feels newer and probably more spacious, and with window overlooking the lake. And also for her seeing thru or taking care of our extra bed's arrangement. And the housekeeping were patient when we asked for additionals. Room has a Nescafe machine, which makes good coffee (Even if not from coffee beans). Breakfast buffet have good food and coffee. And a plus, they have the classic beancurd jelly or tofu/soya pudding/dessert. Staff were attentive to us. But three stars, because on our last night. It's a weird feeling when you know they're talking about, probably, what a difficult customer (group) we are. We forgot to leave tip for the housekeeping taking care of the extra bed that first night, since we have family waiting to drive us somewhere. And a somewhat old style hotel, with floors surrounding open space, and overlooking at the restaurant from above (which is nice if updated). I think they're renovating at the moment (I hope). Its location is quite nice, our room has view of a small lake, and we saw some fireworks in the area on the eve of the midautumn. Aso nice they have vending machines on some floors, if didn’t feel like going down to the 7-eleven across the street.

Good value for money, though it is a bit dated and needs a renovation. Staff is very helpful, and it is in a good location right by the river. Has free wifi, and a good breakfast. Would recommend this hotel if staying in Tainan.

I stayed at this hotel and I was told I had gotten an upgrade What I got was a room out of the main hotel beside administrative offices The rooms were cold and no control of the heating / A/C The rooms had a strong smell of damp mouldy smell but they did look bright and clean The first morning I had to leave this hotel because of strong smell of sewage which emirates from the bathroom and it was so strong it almost choked me. The water wasn't very warm for my shower either The staff on duty seemed to be understanding but they weren't really very helpful I stayed a 2nd night in the main hotel it was an older room but warm and just ok The bathroom walls had mould This is a cheap hotel and Agoda staff have not reviewed this hotel or if they had they wouldn't list it Will never stay here again

Our luggage was lost under their custody, poor service. Won't consider to stay there again.

If you want to have party with 10 people in one room, be loud and then try to kick to doors to see which one opens, this is the hotel you can stay. If you want to sleep soundly , you need to have better luck than we had. Interior is astounding, rooms are fine, but personal doesn’t clean under beds, where we found lots of tissues.

Walking in here, you know it's had it's glory days. That's not now, yet there is a dignity I felt throughout. Rooms are SPACIOUS & look over the canal *almost* as far west as the morning fish market.
