We had an unforgettable experience staying the hotel for one night. Polite, friendly and enthusiastic staffs. Love their French furniture and decoration. Spacious room and big double bed. Breakfast was full of fresh vegetables and fruit (good for vegan). But definitely it was delicious and healthy. You can also have a drink and chat with friends at lounge. Highly recommend and must come here next time.

Arrived and checked in to find a long hair on the bed, a hair on the ground, and an unidentifiable piece of something on a shelf. Both the wall and carpet in the room had very noticeable stains. A small bug/fly was crawling on the wall. This was in a Superior versus Standard room. The hotel appears to have been renovated and you can tell that they tried to decorate the rooms to look more upscale but the property is nowhere as nice and clean as the photos online made it look. While standing in the lobby waiting for the staff to process my refund, I noticed that the lobby carpet was very dirty, as if it hadn't been vacuumed recently. In my opinion, if a hotel doesn't even take care to keep its lobby clean, it's never a good sign. Also, as I was getting in the elevator to go downstairs, I saw that a cart with paint and painting equipment had been left at the base of the stairs, and there was a box left on the stairs itself. This is not only an eyesore but a hazard to guests. While I appreciate that the young man at the front desk was courteous and I am pleased the hotel agreed to cancel the booking and provide a full refund, the lack of cleanliness and general state of this property is not acceptable and not in line with the price of the rooms here.

My wife and I stayed here for five days. The hotel and the staff were excellent. I do not eat gluten and the staff noticed that I did not eat the main part of the breakfast so they asked me if they could make a different main course for me. High marks for great service.

Hotel de L'eau is a very good 3 star hotel. Composed of 5 floors, the brand new hotel boasts of French interiors, and classy design. Located at Anping District, it's very near the Old fort, Old Anping street and other tourist spots in Anping. While amenities can be lacking, such as no laundry services, food is limited to only breakfast with 3 options (Beef noodles soup, Panini, and Herb roasted beef), the service is undoubtedly superb. We stayed here for 4 days and every time we are in need of transportation, they always get us cabs and talk to the drivers to ensure we get to our destination. The reception is 24 hours, and the recepetionists' English Proficiency is very good. We have decided to extend a day, and it was a very smooth transaction. We had a very good stay in this hotel. 5/5 will return here again.

Completely disappointed with Front desk staff. Every answer from them is a “No” or “I don’t know” or “u can’t use the coffee machine”. Should they train to use terms like “How can I help you”??? Bedroom was not made which is also another let down. No spoons in the bedroom and they expect us to stir tea with our finger. Not even a tourist hotel Grade. Please reconsider again if you are a frequent traveler!!

It was just a three-star hotel, so I didn't have high expectations. However, the breakfast experience and the service and attitude of the front desk staff were considerate and friendly, which made me feel that it was worth it. I was very satisfied with the service! The only minor issue was that the water pressure in the bathroom of the room was a bit low and could have been stronger. But overall, both my partner and I were able to relax and have a good rest in the room. It was a decent hotel!

We’re very pleased with our stay. Very nice greetings upon arrival. Super clean and spacious room. Comfy big double beds in our room. One of us is vegetarian, and they were able to accommodate that with very fresh fruits and veggies for breakfast. Would definitely go back!!

This is awesome new and elegant hotel! It's cozy and luxury for everyone and price isn't expensive including breakfast! Although a bit far from downtown, it's quite close to Anpin beach, tree house... It's definitely worth if you are traveling here or locals look for a nice hotel .i highly recommend this one!

We stayed on May 20, 2023. The front desk staff was really great that night. I do not speak Chinese and stayed at this hotel in Tainan almost on a hunch, taking advantage of a suddenly available Saturday and Sunday off, and this front desk clerk proved that my hunch was correct. He could not have been more courteous in arranging a cab to the night market and used a translation app if there were any communication concerns. How reassuring this thoughtfulness made us feel! Breakfast was also wonderful. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Just one point. Shampoo and conditioner are not provided, so if you are picky, you might want to bring your own.

I have stayed 3 nights in Hotel de L'eau from 21/9 this time. I wanted to leave my luggage a day earlier. When I arrived at the hotel, a waitress immediately greet me and direct me to the counter and the counter staff rendered assistance to me. On the check-in day, the high standard and professional services continued. Despite the room was a bit humid and smelly, the staff immediately arranged dehumidifier and air purifier for me. They also assisted me in all aspects, ie calling taxi, make reservation for Resturant….etc. The room attendants also maintained cleanliness of the room. The breakfast is delicious and the bread is crispy and hot. The most impressive part is the service of the staff Ms 吳宥玟，I can easily recognise her no matter she is in day or evening shift because she always keeps a pleasant smile, steps out to greet customers, helps pressing lift button and maintains a professional posture and keeps eye contact before lift door close, helps calling taxi and opens door when the taxi arrive, assists to tell the taxi driver the destination, keep smile to us before taxi depart….etc. All of her services can demonstrate that your hotel has a high standard of training to staff and the professional gesture I can only experienced at 5 stars hotels before. This is very impressive to me. No matter how many stars or how pretty the hotel is, I value cleanliness and service the most for my living experience. My room is at 5/F under the name Ms Lam

Very comfortable room. Location is convenient, walking distance to restaurants and attractions. Excellent breakfast. And staff are so helpful. Enjoyed my stay here. Will come back again.
