We want to Win Chang on a Friday around 2pm. Unfortunately, they were sold out of their signature beef noodle soup but they had some other choices on the menu. Service was fast, the food was good and the cleanliness of the restaurant was about what you would expect from an old school place like this (not that clean). Fair warning some of the photos on this listing are of the new location which is located down the street.

For only 150NT you get to try Michelin 1 star beef noodles, what more can you ask. There will likely be a line when you reach the restaurant but customers eat quickly and you shouldn't have to wait too long before being seated. The noodles were great, the beef really soft. The broth is not heavy like most Taiwanese beef noodles and is lighter. There are many condiments provided to go with the noodles. The restaurant started in 1951 and its easy to see why.
