Another must try Street food in Tainan. It's 100 per bowl and given the generous portion, I think that's a fair price. You will probably be comparing this with another squid soup 邱家, I think the three main differences, yip serves the squids by freezing it first, thus giving them a more tender texture. They also put pepper in the soup every time, which might not be necessary given the seafood is fresh. And lastly they do have more comfortable seats with air con. So it's really up to you, or you can try both and see which place you like the best, that was what we did!

There are so many delicious street foods in Tainan, but not this one. It is not worth to join the line to wait for such an boring rice noodle soup. Absolutely waste your time and money.

The store doesn't have many seats and we waited for about 30 minutes to get in (Tuesday lunch time). Ordered the squid soup. The soup is rather sweet and not too special, but the squid is fresh and good quality. Take cash only. Don't need to queue if you take out.

Shop was clean. A place you wont worry hygiene. Bold rice noodles were t the one I like. Squid was just fine which was not as good as I tasted in NanLiao fish market. Can be better. However, still can have a try if you rarely eat seafoods.

I have never seen such gigantic squid pieces. A huge mouthful! Fresh, crunchy and so so sweet. It only gets even sweeter the more you chew it. The soup needed only a dash of white pepper and every mouthful of soup was such a bliss. The perfect marriage of super fresh squid and mi fen.

Delicious! $100 for a bowl. About 4-5 large pieces of squid. They keep the squid on ice so it doesn't get soggy and retains its bouncy texture. Noodles and soup are piping hot. Friendly service

Very authentic squid noodle. Nice and tasty and not too sweet. Freshly made. Must come early as it will sold out quite soon.

For someone who really likes the 🦑 The squids are fresh but the flavor of the rice noodles are really....just ok😅 The squid eggs are really really good
