Loved this city! The food was the biggest highlight. And the people. Everyone across Taiwan talks amazing about Tainan. Now I understand why. It's a beautiful place. Not touristic. You get to experience the real lifestyle of a Taiwanese. The food options is vast. And all super affordable and easy. I highly recommend

A standard Taiwanese train station, somewhat smaller and older than expected but does the job. A bit of a shame that the HSR does not go through this station and instead you have to travel 20 minutes to the HSR station down south but well. You can still travel through the entire length of the west coast of Taiwan with some connections to the east e.g. Hualien.

I had been there 6 years ago. Staff service very rude, very disappointed to them. Want to buy train tickets and ask for the time and tickets availability. He scolded me and said I should given time to him to check. Move to another counter to buy

a special corner for me that i used to use Metro transportation for moving to Taipei in my College Time …. As you know that the Tainan Station was built 80 years over and the Taiwan Railroad Bureau was doing renovation work in these years, By the way, Metro systems is now under Construction in underground work, to be connected to High Speed Rail Systems .

It would be nice if tra trains ran every 10 minutes rather than 20 minutes, but otherwise it's a fine station that is getting an update. There is a preservation of the historic building on the west side of the station and the whole new station being built to the east of the tracks

Beautiful and cultural city of Taiwan. Tainan's old streets are mainly tourists attractions.
