There were flying woodworms everywhere in the evening at the toilet and shower area. They were getting onto me, really unpleasant. So many of them, they even came into your room. Clearly , this is something that needs to be treated before the customers come in the door. The staff did not clean it until mid day, and the cleaning was barely wiping the surface. You still can see corpses at the sinks and in the toilets. The facilities were okay, but basic. The bed was big enough though. The location is good, but if you are afraid of insects, stay away!

The hostel is nice for a few day staying. We decided stay here for a week and that was deffinitly too long... The rooms are ok. Nice double/ single bed in mix rooms. Women only room have their whole floor which is very nice. Each floor have bathroom- only two toilet, two shower and two sink per room. When we stay it wasnt super busy but in diffrent situation that is not enough. They provided shower gel, shampoo and soup. There is nothing to dry/ air your hands after washing. The hostel have also washing machine and dryer (pay 60). Small kitchen, three tables but is ok to warm up some food or prepered something easy. The only problem is in day time. They switching off the air condition, fan and opening window. The room is going desgusting boiling hot and there is not area to sit down and relax for few minutes...

They only clean rooms during checkout Lack of some amenities (no towel, no toothpaste and toothbrush) they only provide shower gel and shampoo which is almost empty They don't allow you to change room Bidet is too stiff and the pressure is too low Shower isn't attached properly you can easily tear it down. Also the bathroom cubicles can be easily be seen if someone has a mirror and peak on it at the top. The height is not enough!! In the capsule room, the ladder is too steep. And the railing is to wide. You can easily fall if you are thin and small while sleeping The receptionist doesn't speak any english not even the basic English. I will add more photos when I get free time. There's also spider webs as you can see. Also I forgot to mention there was no one manning the area at night. I woke up in the middle of the night to use the toilet and somebody did not flush their s!t feces. It's overflowing with tissue And s__t. Truly a nightmare to behold! During the nighttime, you can hear every one snoring and talking and walking. The partition is made of cheap thin plywood. I asked for a room change but they don't care! The staff are not properly trained and unprofessional. Avoid this place at all cost. The only good thing about this hostel is its near the mrt dongmen Station. This is the smallest hostel I've been to. It only has TWO bathrooms for 10-16 people! There are not air ventilation, its not really a capsule hotel. It's just made up to be a capsule hotel.

The hostel is particularly clean. Sanitary rooms are outstandingly comfortable in Bauhaus style with modern milk glass look. Western toilet, showers, washing machine and dryer are offered. The staff was very nice and the capsule was pretty comfortable (can sit upright) with enough charging possibilities for daily cellphone survival. Liked it very much.

This isn’t a hostel for travellers or backpackers. Most people I met lived at the hostel. This made it difficult for new people as those who lived at the hostel didn’t socialize with backpackers. They offer weekly rates which is why I think they have so many people living there. There aren’t any group activities which also doesn’t help with the atmosphere. There’s a small kitchen with a few cooking supplies. The sink was always dirty with food in it in the 4 days I stayed there. Breakfast doesn’t start until 8:30am which felt very late. The breakfast is only toast with peanut butter or chocolate spread. The location is conveniently next to a metro station. It is further out of the main tourist area and younger area of Ximending.

Excellent staff! Super friendly! The capsule was the biggest I've ever been in, and all at a very reasonable price. Very conveniently located, too: the subway stations is 20 steps away from the hotel's entrance. They also have a coffee shop within the reception hall, which is pretty good.

One of the best hostels I have ever been to. The staff was so kind that she upgraded my room from single bed in mixed room to a double bed in the female dorm. The location is great, just beside dongmen subway station and within 5-minute walk is a really big bus stop. The room is really clean while consists of the biggest capsule I have ever seen: there is even a small desk and a place to hang your clothes in the capsule.

Your average hostel experience, in my eyes way too expensive though for what you get... even with weekly rates or otherwise discounted. Location is great and facilities are clean. And the dorm is surprisingly quiet considering how many people are in the room. Beds are comfy too. And while the staff is generally friendly and helpful, they seem very rigid and inflexible with their check-in/out routine that just leads to unnecessary hassle for everyone. Also, the common area is like a freezer, not very enjoyable. Guess the best thing is the coffee smell from the attached coffee shop. :) Would not necessarily recommend staying here if you got other options, and there are.

Very good location right next to a metro station, reasonably prices, and comfortable enough. My only complaint was that with the curtain on the capsule bed created stagnant air, so it got muggy by the morning. Other hostels with similar setups have more of a gap on the top of the curtains which lets more air circulate. Staff here were very very friendly and helpful.

Stayed for 4 nights, you have a small space yourself and mini hanging space plus a locker. 2 shower and 2 toilets. When the room is full it can be a little noisy but acceptable! Staff would open the window in the day to air the room. Staff is friendly & helpful! Taipei 101 is visible with few mins walk.

Clean and tidy rooms and restrooms with bidet. 😉 Comfortable bed. Staff was very accomodating and answers questions about where to eat amd how to get to tourist spots. Near Dongmen MRT station, walking distance away. A lot of restaurants and food establishments nearby. Dongmen market is also near and Family mart is few steps away. I will stay here again when I will go back. 👍 see you next time

Will definitely staying here again next time, I am giving this place 6 stars. Comfy bed, clean environment, damn friendly staff, distance between MRT and Hostel? 1 minute away. The hostel is combined with a coffee shop, wake up to the aroma of the coffee everyday? YES They even providing pantyliner in the toilet in female dorm, this is very thoughtful of them! I’ve stayed here for 6 night, and not regretting it

I've stayed in many many hostel in the past months all over Asia and I can say this is the best out of all of them ! It's super clean, the bed are spacious and very comfortable, you even have a place for you couple clothes and stuff in the bed. The bathroom is scrubbed everyday and the shower are spacious and super practical. Location is in the cutest neighborhood and it's super easy to go anywhere from there. The staff is so nice, always willing to help you out and sharing with you about their culture and city. I would recommend this place to any of my friends staying in Taipei and I will definitely come back ❤️

My husband and I stayed here for two nights from 11/23-11/25 (Fri-Sun) in a double bunk bed in a mixed dormitory on the second floor. Key card is used for the elevator, to enter the sleeping area, to open under-bed lockers, and to enter the building after hours. You can enter the hostel via the main door or through the attached coffee shop. When you exit the elevator, you're on a balcony type area that is open to the outside. There is a shoe locker area with slippers to wear into the bathroom. Washer and dryer were also available. The entrance to the bathroom/shower area is to the left. To the right is the door into the dormitory with 10-12 single and double capsule beds. No shoes in the dormitory. Location was SO convenient for the MRT! Maybe a 30 second walk from the front door to entrance 3 of the Dongmen MRT station. Check out Dongmen Market just west of the hostel across the street. We went to get breakfast and it seemed to be just locals. We got fruit from 一成蔬果店 the first morning (beautiful fruit market!), but according to a guy at the hostel, Dongmen Market is cheaper. The sleeping area was very clean and comfortable. Locker beneath bed was very convenient. It beeps every time you open it, which seemed like it could bother people sleeping. The table/lamp/plugs next to the bed were very convenient, with hangers on a rod above for clothes. The shade to close off the bed was great. The bathroom had two toilet stalls, two showers, and two sinks. The shower stalls had an area with a basket to place your clothes or hang beneath, so you can change inside. There was a blow dryer on the wall by the sinks. One of the shower heads was broken on our first day so was not usable, but it was fixed the next day. Towels cost extra to rent (I think 50NT?). Thin but pretty big. Did not eat anything provided at the hostel for breakfast, but saw some white bread and spreads in the kitchen. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking items and condiments. We used a cutting board and knife to cut up fruit. Fridge is available for use (must label). The coffee shop attached to the hostel was very nice, and we got a discount for staying there.

Everything was great. The staff is super warm and attentive, they speak perfect English and care that you’re having a great time. The location is perfect, just a few steps away from an MRT station, several buses and the ubikes. There is an insane amount of restaurants nearby and there’s also a fresh market (so you’ll have plenty of delicious options to choose from). The hostel capsules are big and comfy, private and quiet. Perfect place to relax after a long day. The bathrooms are big and clean. And you also have a cheap coin laundry. The hostel also provides complimentary breakfast, consisting of toasts, peanut butter, nuttella, butter, oak meal, soy milk and tea or coffee. You can also refill your water bottle for free. Truly a great hostel to stay in.

We stayed for one week in this hostel and we totally recommend it. The location is just perfect: it’s in a very vivid commercial area, in front of a local morning market and walking distance to many tourist attractions and some of the best food spots in the city that are open until late at night (and a 24/7 convenience store on the corner). To go around Taipei from there is super easy: there’s a subway station, buses, and public bikes right at the doorstep. We stayed in the double capsule room in the mixed dormitory and we had a super comfortable stay. The mattress is very big and comfy, the two of us fit very well. The capsule is also tall enough for you to sit and go in and out smoothly. There’s extra space inside the capsule with a table to keep your things at hand and tidy, which is a big plus. I also loved that we had two individual lights so I could stay up reading without bothering my boyfriend. The space in the locker is big and it fitted our two 60lts backpacks plus our small backpack. The capsule also has a blackout curtain, with gave us privacy and darkness at night. The toilets are enough for the people staying and were always very clean. They provide shower gel and shampoo and you can rent towels there for a very cheap price. The wifi is fast and reliable and there’s a common area on the first floor where you can eat, work, or chill. There’s also a very nice terrace on the 4th floor that’s perfect for chilling at night. They provide free breakfast every morning and there’s free coffee, tea and drinking water 24/7. There’s a kitchen you can use well equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster, electric oven, stove, and kettle. They also have a coffee shop at the entrance which is very nice. Finally, the staff is super warm and made us feel at home. We had a lot of interesting chats about Taipei and Taiwan culture, and they gave us excellent tips to move around. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Definitely good for staying for a few days, especially if you plan to be out often. Mosquitoes get into the room in rainy days, but should be minimal. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and sweet. Bathrooms are crowded especially during morning and evening times, but going to the 4th floor alleviates that issue.
