The location is convenient, very near to the Taipei station. A 711 is just opposite to the hostel where u can grab some snacks and light food even in the midnight. The staff is nice and friendly. Room is cozy and the toilet is clean. Would recommend to tourists who have low budget.

Amazing experience here at flip flop, the staffs were super passionate and kind to explain everything. My single room was super clean and spacious, also very quiet during night/morning time. I was also amazed by the room got a hot/cold AC as well, so you won’t be freezing during the winter. Nice location, clean, and they provide breakfast from famous brand β€œε₯½εˆβ€ in banqiao!

Paid for a double room with own bathroom with the price of deluxe double room, but the room we got is very basic and comes with plenty of rules:- 1. Towel will be charged if request for daily exchange. 2. No table in the room. 3. Hanger provided but no place to hang. 4. Alot of cabinets but all are locked. 5. No TV 6. No kettle 7. No lift (imagine our room is located in the top floor) 8. Drinking water (direct from tap) is available in the shared kitchen in ground floor only. No bottled drinking/mineral water is provided. 9. Need to wash your cup after use. Cup is only available in shared kitchen. 10. Reading of their books will have extra charges. 11. No standby staffs in the hostel after 9pm. (Reachable via phone if you have local simcard/number) 12. Eating is not allowed in the room 13. Not sound proof and etc... We basically surrender our stay after 1 night and paid the same price for other hotel room which is very deluxe and have our own bathtub.

It's an excellent hostel, especially if you like to self-cater, but the neighborhood shuts down by 9PM, so be willing to walk 5-10 min to find food and drink. The transit options are a bit of a walk. Also, my dorm faced a busy street, so the window was always closed (no fresh air), and the AC vent was over the pods next to the window, so those folks were always cold, but my pod at the other end of the room was always too warm. On the plus side, the kitchen is fully equipped, the wifi is excellent, the common area is quite large, and the baths & showers are modern, clean and plentiful.

Best budget hostel to stay in Taipei! Near Taipei Main Station (walk around the corner to get to the station) Free breakfast is good, especially the BLT sandwich! Safe place for solo travelers. Facilities are always clean. Staff are very friendly. The hostel have so many artworks and a bookstore you must see. Highly recommended stay in Taipei!

Great hostel with very friendly employees! Clean hostel and decent beds. Stayed in a 4 person dorm and they provide flip flops for you and slippers. There are 4 floors and the hostel has a bookstore and cafe and seating area too! They offer free breakfast options at the cafe for guests.

Worst service, refuse to refund (even though they can, as stated on Agoda). They did not mention only can check-in between 3pm to 9pm during booking. After booking, they call and inform only able to check-in at the given time and not able to refund if cannot come at check-in time.

If you know that foreigners can't stay in shared bedrooms Please cancel the reservation on the web page as well. Or give the main website to local people instead? Because not everyone can find a spare hotel. 谒谒你!

Receiving the worst possible service from the hostel. The hostel requires check-in within certain period without specifying in the booking website at all and is unable to refund/cancel after letting me know. The staff kept emphasising that my booking cannot be refunded with NO intention to solve my issues!!!!!!!!

The room has a mezzanine set up with the bed being up a few stairs above a sofa. Shower is at the same place as the sink making the area not easy to use after a shower (force you to use slippers to enter the area). Room was overall clean. Breakfast is not exactly included. Hostel will provide you with a coupon for a free sandwich from a given selection at the cafΓ© next door. If you'd want anything else, it will be extra (any drink or other food). Location was good, 10/15 min walk from the Taipei Main Station.

The good: Great location, delicious breakfast, and a clean and well-equipped room. The bad: A very creaky bed (3F, double room), spotty water temperature, outside noise (vacuums, hair dryers, etc).

Super clean and comfortable, well designed beds with lots of space Nice to have breakfast in the cafe adjoining the hostel, just pay $10 for coffee from the hostel Free large towel on arrival such a lovely touch πŸ™πŸΌ Staff are outstanding in their professionalism; helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, ready to chat GREAT ending to my 5 months of travel in Taiwan 😊 Oh and perfect location, sandwiched between Zongshan MRT & Taipei main station

Thumbs up for the breakfast! Compact room, great cleanliness, provides complete bathroom amenities. Room size is quite small so not suit for family traveller with kids. Cleanliness of public bathroom or bathroom inside the room is great. Staff's friendliness could be improved. Location is great, close to MRT station, and night market. Little bit pricey but worth it. Recommended πŸ‘

Unfortunately we cannot recommend this hostel if you get the wrong room. If you get a room towards the main streets it feels like sleeping in a tent on the middle of a highway. The rest was good, especially the staff is very friendly:)

I will absolutely be staying here again on my next trip to Taipei! The staff was so friendly and helpful. It was very quiet and clean, and had great amenities. The free breakfast from the cafe next door was delicious. They had free drinking water, tea, and coffee for $10 in the kitchen. The location was fabulous, and only a couple blocks from the MRT. Thank you for making my first solo hostel stay amazing! 🀩

Great atmosphere and very comfortable! The personal locks and door beep quite loudly whenever someone opens or closes them but nothing earplugs can’t fix. I really liked the common area and the beanbags are really comfortable.

Very good price for such an excellent location! Hostel has a very clean, and airy atmosphere thanks to the central courtyard. The minimal aesthetic is punctuated with pockets of fun through the design of common spaces that encourage interaction between visitors and staff. Hostel staff also frequently plan activities at night for customers to participate in. To my knowledge these are free for all hostel customers to join. I joined Ting Wei's night cycling tour of the city, and it was a really fun and informative experience! Highly recommended. But book early as they run out of space pretty quickly.

Stayed several times. The location was great. It’s quite a chilling place to stay. They have coin-operated washers and dryers. They offer filtered water and hot water which is a plus for me. Awesome!

Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast, and clean and comfortable amenities. There’s a nice lounge/ gathering room with various chairs, a big table, and a decent sized kitchen for cooking. The only thing I found mildly annoying was that the personal lockers, as well as the door lock, played a loud jingle whenever you used them, but they offered free earplugs in the rooms so that was very much appreciated.

The rooms and common area are clean, although sometimes loud noise would go through walls, hence 4/5 rating for rooms. Service is definitely great, staff are welcoming, and speak good English. The location is great! A lot of food to eat nearby, don't forget to try the breakfast shop in their ground floor. Their location near the mrt as well.

Love this place, 2nd time staying here (last time 4 years ago) . Modern designed hostel, in a great location, staff are friendly, speak excellent English. The addition of the bookshop is a great touch.

Great hostel close to Taipei Main Station and central Taipei. Walking distance to bubble tea stores, restaurants and Ningxia Night Market. Clean female only dedicated bathrooms. Check-in was efficient and staff was polite and friendly. English speaking. Small dorm lockers next to bed side and fully functioning air-con in the rooms. Free yummy breakfast. Milk tea there was nice too. Entry gates lock after the evening but easy to access with key card. Felt really safe. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, always trying to help. Rooms are compact, but functional. Beds are typical hard mattresses. As in most places in Taiwan, the plumbing is not great. Shower was in the middle of the bathroom, so everything got quite wet, and temperature was hard to adjust. Location is amazing! Thank you to the staff, and see you some other time πŸ‘‹πŸ»

Great staff and great location. Taiwan is a little late to wake and get moving so that was an adjustment. The accommodations were very clean, organized, and pleasant! The free breakfast sandwich was very good!

Staff at this hostel are the nicest. Ask them for advice in moving around the city. Their daily activities will definitely let you know the country better. The lounge and kitchen area is the best i have been to. My team & I knocked out when we were chilling out there.

In general, your hostel is pretty, and much of delicate design. For example, the restroom light is automatic so it's green. Also, the Taiwanese old-fashioned handbags hung inside the shower rooms are not only friendly for use but look very local, which can express Taiwanese element in lifestyle of decades years ago. Here are some things to get improved. First, emergency exit works a bit weird, because the door cannot be closed if someone doesn't pay attention to close door. In this way, there is a safety concern, which also means no use for door lock system of elevator. Second, it seems no escape device near window of the bedroom, something like escape ladder or rope. for this point, maybe I got wrong remember. Could you please help me explain it ? thanks. Btw, the space for accommodating personal belongings in male dorm is quite big enough. I like it. It's hard to get perfect. But I appreciate your service and hostel surroundings, when customer's expense is taken into consider.
