We booked a room for one night as part of a transit stopover through Taipei, to give us a chance to see some of the city. It worked out very well for us. The location is good - about 100m from a metro station, and about 200m from 4+ Break Breakfast, an excellent breakfast place. The entrance and elevator are a bit run down, but by the time you get to the 6th floor, everything changes: there's a large open "lobby" space, with comfy chairs in it, and the rooms coming off it. We arrived after hours, and were given clear instructions on how to check ourselves in. Our room was comfortable, quiet, modern, with windows on two sides. The bed was comfortable; the A/C effective. There was free coffee in the lobby, and the team was happy to let us leave bags there for the day while we explored. Two bottles of water were provided. (Don't drink the tap water in Taiwan!) The only snag was that the water in the shower was a little cool (this was mid morning); otherwise everything was fine. Highly recommended.

I stayed at Journey Town Inn for 6 nights, and got to experience both the Deluxe Double Room with City View (with bathtub) and Double Room with City View. As other reviewers mentioned, the common space and individual rooms are exceptionally clean and well-designed. It's not an exaggeration to say that this has been the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in my life. The rooms have several lighting options, the furniture is comfortable, and the bathroom appliances are all very new and easy to use. Perhaps the only downsides I can think of are from my point-of-view as a very light and picky sleeper. The blanket cover is a bit slippery, so I could feel the blanket move during my sleep. When I stayed in the room closer to the main street, I could hear cars pass by in the morning when people were out and about. But these instances did not affect the overall pleasant experience of my stay. The common space has small snacks, water, hot and iced tea, and coffee for guests to enjoy. There are also tables with outlets by the window to enjoy a drink or get some work done. If you stay longer than two days, you also have free access to laundry. The owners are so friendly and have done a great job putting this place together. You can really feel how much they care about the place and the guests. I will definitely choose to live here the next time I am back in Taipei, and will also recommend to friends and family!

We have spent three fantastic nights in this interesting hotel. It's located a few steps away from the MRT station and this allow you to go around the city of Taipei very easily. We have appreciated the design of the room where every detail is carefully considered. there is the chance to take a coffee or a tea in the common area which is a such nice place! Room provides you everything a tourist might need with a touch of personality and elegance. Well done, Keep it up!

This is probably one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The check in process was very easy and the owners are super friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is just one floor but the design of the entry/lobby area makes it feel very cozy, with couches and tables, free water and tea and candy. Every time I came back to the hotel after a long day I felt right at home. The room was confirmed to be very clean, spacious and modern. We stayed in the deluxe double city view room which was decorated with a music theme. The bathroom was large which is unusual for taipei hotels and the appliances are all very clean and new. The room also gets great sunlight but also has blackout curtains in case you want to sleep in. My only gripe with the room is that sometimes it can get a little damp, but the air conditioning and windows can help with this and it was not a big issue. Location wise, this hotel is very optimal. It’s right next to exit 4 of the SongJiang NanJing MRT station and there is an amazing bakery downstairs that we ate at for breakfast everyday. There is also 7-11 a couple steps away which is great for late night snacks or coffee. There are many delicious options for dinner and lunch nearby within walking distance that the owners can recommend. Overall the space and location is amazing and the people who work at this hotel are some of the kindest people I’ve met.

I have a very comfort one-week stay there. Staff and owner are both polite and helpful. Their room is clean and well designed. It's small but you get whatever you need for a simple stay. I would stay at this place again.
