First of all, the food was amazing. all of them tasted wonderful and I almost already tried them all. (went here a few times already) my go to cafe if I miss western-mediterranean food. The hummus is just the best. I also liked the panini and spaghetti the service is also good. the waiters speak very nicely and politely. I asked about the food and they explain it thoroughly. and of course, amazing atmosphere. I always enjoy my time there. the only thing bothering me is that it is hard to get a seat on the weekends without reservation.

Seems like this is a popular restaurant for the young people from all over the city. Advance reservation is strongly recommended for a weekend meal. It claims that the menu is Mediterranean style. The menu is huge not in size, I meant the numbers of dishes and drinks would take a while for a first-timer to read through to the end. Four of us ordered five dishes total to explore and share. Food was alright but did not register high enough on my taste buds. The decors and atmosphere there are very pleasant and suitable for any occasions. The Stella Astoid draft 🍺 the restaurant carries is a great choice and it may compliment almost every dish on its menu. One advice from me is that shouldn't order extra orders of pitas. It's not a good idea to stuff too much starch into your tommy that will definitely ruin the taste of the good beer. Unfortunately I was the only one still have room and appetite to order dessert. Tiramisu is always my after-meal sweet and theirs didn't disappoint me.

Great taste of Mediterranean cuisine here. The portion of pasta is enough and very tasty in ways of spices. Only disappointment is the toilet area was a bit messy. Water all splashed around the faucet. Service overall was good, just that needs improvement.

The last time we came here, we got their latest drink which is the blueberry juice something. It has cheese foam on top and it tastes really good ,😋 we ordered the same pasta we usually ordered also the humus with cheese.

I’ve been visiting Toasteria ever since I was a kid when they first started as a restaurant serving only sandwiches. They have significantly changed their menu over the years limiting the variety of sandwiches available. Nonetheless, majority of the dishes I have tried have always been spectacular. They now have a lot of Mediterranean dishes as well. The manager here is extremely kind and is attentive to details. If you are visiting on a weekend, I highly recommend making a reservation as they are extremely busy.

A eclectic mix of colour on the plates looks appetising. Unfortunately, the tastes are not palatable, if not dull, and are as ordinary as other Italian cruises. Specifically, the pork in the omelette is quite dry, Ingredients in Spaghetti alla Puttanesca are discordant, and hummus is filled too much of “tastes of home”. Having said that, service there is quite amiable.

Very specific decoration inside. You can really relax with your friends or families on weekend or holidays by having your meals here. Mediterranean cuisine are really yummy and tasty. Seafood are so fresh by having the natural ingredients inside. You can order salad or snacks as well. It is crowded most of time and reservation is recommended. You can find the hospitality of staffs during your visit. Give it a try and have fun here.

They'll fully spray with alcohol without even asking, like you're some radioactive material. Only place I've experienced this

Good Mediterranean place. Great decor and atmosphere. The food is also really good. Tried this place for the halloumi cheese and was not disappointed. Great presentation and taste. The shawarma chicken hummus is also delightful and the Earl grey iced tea is spectacular. A couple downsides, the music is at night club volume and it you must order on an app at your table. For a $1000+ a person the app approach just doesn't feel right

This might be one of very few places in Taipei that serves veg food and stays open till 12. Thier food is amazing and same with their service. We ordered falafel balls, eggplant humus, 2 pastas, and some cheesy fries with some lovely refreshing drinks. All the food was great even though it was end of service and it was 11 o'clock. The staff was nice even at the end of the day and allowed us to stay till we finished our meal.

A Western-style restaurant, elegantly and modernly designed. The interior is dominated by elegant tones, creating a comfortable and exquisite dining atmosphere. Tables are neatly arranged, adorned with shiny cutlery. The food offered is not only delicious but also generous in portion. Each dish is presented in a refined manner, with vibrant colors that are appetizing. The restaurant places a high emphasis on service quality, with staff who are friendly and attentive, dressed in neat uniforms, always ready to assist customers. The entire restaurant maintains a high level of cleanliness and tidiness, every corner shining like new, showcasing the restaurant’s attention to detail. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is both relaxing and elegant, making it an ideal choice for family gatherings, dining with friends, or business meals.

Mediterranean styles of salads, hummus, pita bread, and desserts are all very tasty. Service is excellent too. But the business is too busy and so very noisy. Not an ideal place for friends to have quality conversations.

Nice quiet and air-conditioned place in 東門 to sit and work. The maple croissant and tea drink were both good. Staff was courteous but not overbearing. There's a nice upper level area with seating and window view.

Last min walk in means you get to sit at the bar which is ok. Food is good. Bathroom…well, not the best. I strongly suggest the service team to pay more attention as the guest flow is high and naturally more care needed.

I went with my family and friends. The location is hard to parking the car but it is near by the subway. The food was really good we ate salad, pasta, and some bread. I really enjoyed the food in there. And the waiter was nice too, they also gave us free drink. However, we told them we can not drink alcohol alcohol they still put on our table. In the end we didn’t drink just put on the table and leave.

One of my favorite brunch restaurants in Taiwan. Delicious food with various kinds of flavors and selections. Highly recommend to make a reservation in advance, or you will have to wait in a very long queue.

Overall the food is actually pretty decent. I like the Panini Toast more than the Spaghetti. Surprisingly the Panini Toast is enough to fill your tummy because the portion is quite big. It is actually my second time trying the Panini Toast and I am not dissappointed at all. Not to mention, the chocolate mousse dessert is super delicious. It is a 70% dark cocoa and nothing can please me more than that desert🤤🤎However, the overall price is pretty expensive. If I could give an advise maybe the AC should be more colder☺️ But I would say it is a great experience to eat here because the staff were very friendly and they could speak English.

jaffa (TWD 365 + 10% service charge): this is a very interesting dish. spinach and egg baked on/in tomato sauce with pita bread and hummus. nice decor and vibe, but quite pricey. visit(s): 20201210

It’s the second time I visited Toasteria after a long time! Seem like the menu have been changed a lot! The pasta are okay but the taste of the sauce in all dishes taste very similar nothing stand out in particular. Yet, the Humus and Pita are awesome! The service is good as usual, I love the vibe of the restaurant so far

The service experience wasn’t as good as the food here. Do not come here alone during peak time. Highly recommend delivery for this restaurant. If you dine in alone, you might be asked to move or switch seats for several times during peak time. After being asked to move for accommodate more customers for three timesI just gave up and had them pack my leftovers 😇 One time is okay. I understand people need to eat. The second and third time makes me wonder whether I am a customer or the waiter.

I love the panini’s here. I have been coming here for years now and it’s such a cool Mediterranean restaurant. I would recommend this place to the people who are missing western food. It is very good western food. It is quality and I always enjoy my visits here. However the prices do reflect the quality but I don’t mind because it is worth it. On this occasion I tried the mixed mushroom white cheddar omelette. It was very yummy but not as good as the panini I usually go for. But I wanted to try something different so I’m glad I went for it. Great place with a great vibe. It is really nicely presented.

Great food and even better service. We had lunch with our 1 year old and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Such a bonus to have delicious food on top. I made sure to ask about other dishes to try for our next visit :)

Oh man! I love this place! The hummus with the eggplant, that thing has been mastered here! We have also had sandwiches and a tomato egg dish I forgot the name and they are pretty good too, but that Hummus is just amazing, I would go there just for that. Service is good, food is good and the place looks amazing for a date or a birthday party. Love it here.

came here for the hummus and it didn’t let me down- pretty authentic! my friend had their tiramisu and said it’s really good too. the restaurant closed at 12 am which is nice to stay, drink, and hang out after dinner

it's ridiculous how many times i come and dine here; are there any customer loyalty card? im' in love with their hummus and shakshuka! they also have a nice variety of alcohols and cocktails. their tapas selection is delicious (i cant believe they can make eggplants so tasty) but it is quite pricey and not fulfilling if you come with a hungry stomach. i tried pasta once, also so creamy and delicious, but every time i come here it's always for the shakshuka. my least favorite thing would be the dessert; i've tried their tiramisu and cheesecake, both tasted too light/watery for me. but other than that, i absolutely recommend this cafe! i love the lively but chill atmosphere. you can come alone, bring a friend, or throw a party and you can still feel the good vibe all around. pretty interior decoration. it has 4 floors and no elevator, so take that into consideration. i often come here alone so i always get my seat immediately whether it's weekday or weekend, but i'm sure you'd need to book a seat beforehand if you have a bigger group--especially on weekends.

Went there 4 times now and I change my rating from initially 3 to now 5 stars. I mean there's reasons why I keep coming back. Staff: best and friendliest I've seen anywhere. Interior beautiful. Food is good, although it's definitely more for those who don't like it too flavorful, but that's probably Mediterranean style, and you could always add salt if you wanted it to be more salty. Portion size is very decent.

  • 4/5 Tina H. 1 year ago on Google
Tastes soooooooo yum. However, the price is a bit expensive! I strongly recommend Spanish egg. It’s big and yum. Moreover, it also contains French fries, salad, and 2 slices of cookies (?!). I mean… it can be shared by 2 people. On the other hand, octopus is expensive. As you can see, the size is really small, and it costs NT$490. (To be honest, it’s also yum) Well… to sum up, it’s a great restaurant with yum food and good ambience. Please book a table in advance if you want to come here. Otherwise, you will waste a lot of time to wait.

Probably one of my favorite restaurants in Taipei. Whatever you choose on their menu, you simply cannot go wrong! Tonight we went for a dinner for the first time since they reopen after being closed under Level 3: they took every Covid precautions necessary. We wanted to share some dishes and they made one plate for each of us, with a lovely presentation. Really appreciated the detail.

Tasty Mediterranean food with great vibe and service. Have been craving for authentic Mediterranean cuisine in Taiwan until I found this place. Delicious food and chill vibe. Price is reasonable too. Strongly suggesting you to make a reservation before coming here.

(With English menu) i have been here for many times. It’s very comfortable place for meal and drink. The staffs are able to speak very good English. So we feel very comfortable to meet up friends and family in here. The food in here are pretty good and classic. They even have good wine in here with finger food.

Great shakshuka, really yummy and stays very hot in the cast iron pan~ like the pita bread and hummus spread that comes with it. Good espresso too! The panini and pastas are the stars though, almost everyone in my group got a big deluxe pasta and they looked super yummy, especially the creamy seafood ones ~ the paninis are famous too, with crispy bread and cheesy melt interiors, and the crispy fries have a super addictive dip sauce (like pickle dressing? Tangy and creamy and so so good!). Four floors of seating and very sunlit beautiful interior including a rooftop area and large table room available for big group reservations ~ recommend ^^
