The coffee here is top-notch. If you're looking for quality handmade coffee, this is the place to be. This is not somewhere you'll sit and work for the afternoon, but a place for you to rest and enjoy coffee.

If you’re a coffeeshopaholic like me, you’d know how the attitude of the coffeeshop owner (either towards coffee making in general or life) plays a big part in the atmosphere of the shop. You’d feel their passion towards life or coffee making when you’re sitting in the cafe. Their passion also exudes out of their coffee. RockyDoggy Coffee Store is one of those few coffee shops. Taipei is filled with amazingly delicious coffee. RockyDoggy is that plus more. You can taste and feel how much attention they put into the coffee and the vibe of the store in a very genuine way. Just go and experience it yourself. I’m not going to elaborate much except listing its pros and cons. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Pros: - the service is super friendly - delicious coffee - you’ll learn about coffee bean and dog caring with each cup of coffee - their outdoor patio is very instagrammable if that’s what you’re after - great selection of coffee - cozy and chill - Excellent for remote working Cons: - the shop doesn’t open in the early morning (but most Taiwanese coffee shops open even later) - a bit far from where I live.

Time to write a review. I'm probably a regular here cause of the espresso and the talks I have with the barista. This cafe has the human touch that most coffee shops have forgotten about. A suggestion for people, talk to the barista. Take time away from your phone and chat; it makes the experience much better. Note: probably the only cafe that still tries to focus on coffee and not gimmicky stuff.

Awesome espresso. Super friendly owner/barista is happy to answer any questions and explain everything about the coffee they serve! RockyDoggy offers upto 4 different roast types for your taste. It's quite rare to even find a coffeeshop with 2 different roast types so kudos to this store. Keep it up!
